Missing phone feature Help please - Touch HD General

I could not find how to get the phone displaying notification when i call someone already in a call like Waiting notification. This is a serious missing feature. Anybody managed to get this working on his device ? Thanks.

Bump Bump !

I'm not sure what you mean.
Do you want to see notifications while in a call?

Yes, when i call someone already in a call and has activated the call waiting option, i should get WAITING message on the screen and thus understand that he is having a conversation. With WM6, it only says Connecting....
Any idea ?

I think its just not possible

How to turn on the display when an email is received ?

When i receive an new email through activesync push (exchange 2007) i have enabled the option to display the message on screen and sound notification but the screen doesn't turn on automatically like when you receive a new SMS so basically its almoste impossible know when you receive a new email.
Can i change this somehow to act like when an SMS is received and turn on the screen ?
thank you
so basically there isn't a way for that ?
Yeah, also noticed that.
Would be nice to have a solution for that.
@Work i have my phone on table and sound/vibrate disabled.
So the only way to see a message is when screen turns on.
Ok, there's the LED, but in a bright room it can take hours till u notice that.
I googled this issue a lot, no luck.
I just get sound and vibrate, no screen message.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who find this odd
I was hoping it was fixed/added on WM6 but its not
Strange that no one has notice or even make a query about this in Microsoft, i find it completely stupid not to act the same way as an SMS/MMS since nowadays i use more the email than texting.
Lets hope for someone to do something about this if its possible
this is killing me!
any hard code developer can do something about this ?? it must be a way to trigger the same procedure that SMS uses in order to turn on the screen or something.
please please for this!

You'd think that Pocket MSN would also do the same wouldn't you? But it doesn't
this is by far the stupidest thing for the WM. I really can even begin to think why they did this, who is the genius behind this idea ?!?
Hell I think its a good idea. I'd hate my screen to come on everytime I got an email! I get a lot of email so that would majorly suck!
Yesbut why not just have it as a selectable option, that would make more sense!
exactly, at least put an option for it! email should be treated like SMS nowadays. yould you prefer creamhackered not to turn on the screen when you reseive an SMS ?

Please help...XV6800 Sounds & Notifications Bug??

I am hopeful that someone can help solve a couple of issues(bugs) that I've found on the Verizon XV6800. A lot of you guys seem very skilled in creating new ROM's and many other things. So hopefully, one or more of you will find easy solutions to these issues.
First: On the XV6800(Windows Mobile 6), under the Sounds & Notifications Settings, "Repeat" is greyed out/disabled for EVERY NOTIFICATION setting. But, on the Notification Settings for MMS Downloaded, not only is "Repeat" greyed out/disabled, but "Flashing Light" is also greyed out and disabled. Can anyone tell me how to fix this please. (see screen shot below)
Second: Is there a way to prevent the XV6800 from repeating your voice tag for a contact "through the Speakerphone".
--Example: When I say "call xxxx", the phone repeats it back LOUDLY through the speakerphone! Duh....I'm sure no one around me wants to hear this and I don't want them to hear it either! What a really dumb setup. Can anyone help? Can these things be fixed??
Thanks for your help,
Mark

Hello..
I today tested my friends galaxy s.. and i noticed that he has something i must have also. When his phone is getting a call, he as 3 sliders:
1) answer the call
2) silence/hangup (cant remember wichone)
3)a slider for quick message, when he slides this one.. he gets 10sample messages where to pick. When he picks the message, ringing hangs up and message is send (for example, "In a meeting, calling u later")
And i want now the 3rd slider, just dont know where and how

Yeah, I got what you were saying. This is also a feature in Sense ROMs. Not with a slider, but with a predefined message like "Sorry, I'll call later" that is automatically sent when you decline a call.
Not quite the same, but useless nonetheless

SWAG=ON and voicemail problem

Since I installed the SOS ROM I no longer get a message when I have a new voicemail. I see a missed call notification and if I dial in to my phone number it will tell me I have voicemails. Does anyone know of a fix for this?
Thanks
You still use the stock voicemail? Lol jk. I'ma look into this, but it should be working. Give me a few days. I'll try to be quick though, I realize that not getting VMs blows
