I have the same problem too.
Maybe srs wow hd will help to incrase volume a bit, but I didn't test it yet.

hello...do you know any solution for improoving the volume of the ringtones? i know that are some keys in registry, but i don't remember them now (with those decibels, etc); 'cause the maximum volume, with an modified ringtone, is still to low. thank you.
Here you have:

Worked for me.

thank you very much, really great improvements!. thanx
Welcome.
I install it because I wanted to have a better and louder sound in loudspeaker in calls.
For my surprise, it boosted ringing sounds either.
Well, cool.
It would be better if we could choice what to improve (sound) and how much. But this is better than nothing.

Woww... interesting. Do you know if some of that app let the user choose what to change, or are just to "install and ready".
Thanks.

The WOW has some settings, i didn't notice any change in volume, the Lighter and Full boost is just "install". I've been using the Lighter boost since i got my Pure.
is this the version of wow that has the input/output db adjustment?
that the input/output db adjustment you can do it from the registry . but anyway, thank you, very nice .cab file. has done the job that i need it.

Hi Bruce, just a quick tip - why not replace the stock one on the ROM BEFORE flashing it? See here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=377514. It's a great program!

Hey there,
For those who don't use Artos Sense ROM, i happened to find a working SRS WOW HD version for our Neotouch
its actually made for Omnia II but i didnt encounter any wake up issue so far and the Sound is just great. It's perfectly running on Brainmaster's 1.1 clean rom build
Instructions :
1)Just download the SRS WOW HD cab
2)install it on your device memory
3)SOFT RESET, don't open the app before !!
4) Enjoy the Sound
For those who are using SPB Mobile Shell: SRS WO HD Settings won't appear in SPB's Settings/System, you'll have to use Windows startmenu/Settings/System in order to see it
ALL credits go to whiskeybro @ modaco !!!
http://www.modaco.com/content/i8000...8000-modaco-com/295893/srs-wow-hd-for-omnia2/
alternatively http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=629382
Edit :
After Softreset
In order to get Bluetooth soundoutput working, u need a small registry tweak
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\Builtin\WaveDev\ OldDriver\ there change that Value to: btcedrivers.dll
Soft reset again and you can enjoy your sound via BT as well
Edit 2 : I did encounter a little issue causing a wakeup issue. After soft reset or booting the device. A sound has to be played in order to prevent the wakeup issue as soon as the device is booted before it suspends
How long do you test device with this app? Have you noticed any wake-up problems?
Hey,i'm running it the second day, and after a played sound after boot (peak of volume level e.g.) I didnt encounter any problems yet.
BT Headset is also running neat with the registry tweak
Works! Thank you very much!
But I also have this Wake-Up problem...
I've installed it restarted the device and since that I have no sound. Volume control is fully down and if I raise it still no sound.
When I run SRS WOW HD control in the Settings there is an error massage: No SRS WOW driver found or running.
So I uninstall it.
P.S.
I'm running official Acer OS 3003b.
This happens every time I have tried to use SRS WOW with Eten/Glofiish/Acer phones over the years--it is such a tempting preogram given this brand's history of sub-optimal sound quality-- It makes me reluctant to try again---once bitten twice shy I guess

The phone dies and I've to take off the battery and than define hours and date.. Very boring!
Hoping that someone could do to our S200 the same thing that whiskeybro done to Omnia2...
.
