This is the story:
I bricked my phone (Elf) because I didn't CID unlock it after installing the Opal 6.1 rom. So when I tried to install the backup ROM I made it got bricked. I read all the threads about how to revive the phone and I can't get any to work.
I can't do the GoldCard since I don't have a working WM phone. So I tried the Wild card unbricker ROM and the phone got worse. Now I only get to the tri color screen without any "RUU" at the top and every time I try to flash another ROM on it it shuts and I get an error message saying something like "Invalind vendor or error in image" etc... Please help me, what happend??? I cant flash any ROM. I cant do hardspl. I can't do anything.
PLEASE HELP ME! Anyone who's familiar to this problem?

Helle everyone! First of all, sorry for my bad english! However some days ago i read that htc have done a wm upgrade for my phone (6.1) i didn't know that it wasn't for gsm version.. when i did thet upgrade i had on the phone the onyx rom and the cid unlocked, with this upgrade the spl came back to the original but the original rom doesn't start the installation. so i have the spl 2.26.0000 and the onyx rom that doesn't start and when i turn on my phone it remain in the display of 3 colors of upgrade.. what i can do now?? i have the warranty cause i bought the on july.. plese help me, how can explain them this fact? i'm in yours hand..

I think you should try to cid unlock again, if it works you could flash the onyx again, if not there's a lot to read in here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=406721

i've tried a lot of times to unlock the cid but it give me the error: ERROR [200] Invalid update tool
Please get newer update utility
I used the latest version of spl and it's the same.. I tried to dump the original rom and it give me the same error 200.. Further there is no RUU in the display of htc..

Dont be worry i diddent got the color bar either. But be shure to have at least 50% of battery capacity before yoy do the upgrade. Put the file from (310 inside the catalog in 226 /RUU and replace the file RUU_Signed.nbh that you downloded at press theelf-uspl.exe and read carfully what you seen on the screen and dont dissconnect youre phone before you have started up the phone completely. Thats what i did and it works for me. God luck

Another fact it doesn't enetr in ruu-bootloader.. only bootloader
Try to hard-resetting the phone!

it is a trial original rom that can be flashed from SD card then after that you can CID unlock again (good Luck)

have tried to flash my phone today , with no success
everytime i try either using hard SPL v1 or Touch IT , i get the same error
get the tricolour screen then says no image , i then try and flash and get connection 262 error
anyone any ideas what i am doing wrong ?

Hey, well you're not the only one with this problem... I have it as well and I've spent a few evenings to find a solution, but nothing worked :S I hope someone can help us out...

Remove the SD card when flashing this way - that will fix the 262 problem.
Hi I have aquired a lovely wing which looks like new - It has a problem !!
I need to upgrade the ROM as its stuck
I have attempted to load a few different ROMS and I put it into bootloader mode
IPL 1.11.0001
SPL 1.11.0001
Shows up on the tri color screen
I then attempt to load the rom and it goes all the way to load 1% or so then an error mesage comes up "Error 300 - Invalid update tool " This update utility cannot be used for your PDA Phone Please get newer update utility"
I have read the pages here extensively and cant seem to get an answer
Can I please respectfully ask for some assistance with this problem I cant wait to get this phone working ?

It seems like you didn´t read extensively like you said...
Flashing custom Roms without Hard-spl or Uspl can´t work.
If you tried to Hard-spl your phone search for "goldcard"
If not get an official Wm6 Rom from your provider.

hi anyone pls help,
i have one imate jasjam, the initial problem is i done a hard reset and the phone reboot and it wont finish running the customise application installation, after that the phone cant detect network, i had run a hard spl into the phone and then try to flash a rom that i download from forum but it only run 11% then stop then i realise that the rom i flash is for htc jasjam not imate jasjam, now my phone can only stay at the boot loader mode, i also try different rom but no luck so i think i ask for your help

before i flash it i also cant find any radio rom version in this phone so i guess the radio rom also missing or what just not sure....
i think i flash the htc jasjam wrong model rom even now i flash back the original JASJAM_WWE_1.20.305.3_1.20.305.104_1.07.03.10_ship this error message come out "ERROR [260]: update error" and it ask me to check my usb connection.
i search the forum and few member advice me to use mtty and i did tried that many time it didnt work, another member advice me to use this method "Formate yr memorycard & Unzip attached file in your memorycard named Hermimg.nbh & put yr cell in boot mode & follow screen instructions..........this illl boot yr celll out to boot mode......... " i tried that but the phone always stay at boot mode and no other instructions came out at all so im really lost and just hoping somebody can help me solve this problem...

Hi, i had the same problem flashing from the SD card. Are you using Vista or Windows7? I tried with Vista Format card, drag and drop renamed image onto sd card. Stuck it in the phone, reset and like you say hangs on bootloader. Then i tried the same thing from my Windows XP laptop, exactly the same format, rename drag and drop and everything works fine. Hope this helps

G'day, I've only really been reading about roms and these phones for only a few hours but I'm pretty sure that htc jasjam and imate jasjam are one and the same phone i think the said rom are used with all hermes type phones..

I need help please my htc is stuck in bootloader!! This is the first time i was flashing my phone.... And there is not custom rom yet installed its just the process of getting hspl.. The situation was i was connceting it to hspl and when it was connecting i accidentally disconnected it! Now its stuck on bootloader!! And it wont connect to active sync!! The spl is 2.10.000 and white part of the tri coulor saids usb. Now can someone please help me!!! I really like the phone and im trying not to lose it!! Please tell me if my phone is broken or not.. And if it isnt please let me know how i can fix it!!! Please need quick response!! I CANNOT ACCESS MY PHONE AT ALL ITS JUST IN BOOTLOADER!
... uhm i tried to flash it with stock rom..... using 2.13 stock rom.. and i went through the whole process. my phone went through the htc loading thing... and btw my phone cannot connect to active sync..... so i went through it and then nothing happened im still in the situation i was before... and then i tried flashing it using hspl and still it keeps saying error bad spl.... and right now my bootloader screen saids spl 2.10.000.. please someone help me... do i need to use a different spl??? cause i still cant access my phone.. i cant connect to active sync either..
