IM Communicator For WM6 on HERALD/WING - Wing, P4350 General

Hi people. I'm looking for an Instant Messenger program for my HTC Herald.
I'm running WM6 on it.
I want to be able to connect to any of these networks, but AIM is the most important one, AIM ICQ MSN Y!. A little ago, I had a T-Mobile Wing, it had "OZ Communicator" program on it. It was able to log in to any of above stated networks. But there was something wrong with that program, too. I don't know whether it was just me, or they all are like this, when I had my phone turned to "vibrate" mode, the notifications of new IMs were silent. Only when the sound was on, then it made sounds. So I'm also looking for that in this program. Thank You people for your help!!
I figured it out, I need for this app to use SMS Gateway!!

Google Fring.

Hey. Please say in other words?? I don't understand your slang!!

It is not a slang, just use google and search for the name FRING, it is a free Skype®, MSN Messenger®, Google Talk™, ICQ, SIP, Twitter, Yahoo!™ and AIM®.

All I want is a CHAT PROGRAM, to be able to connect to either of these networks: AIM or ICQ or MSN or YAHOO!! I don't want anything else from this app. The only feature that is mandatory to me is: for it to vibrate for new incoming IMs when the phone is set to VIBRATE mode. Simple app!!!

I also need to figure out, how for any of these apps, to turn on my free GPRS and log on the server through that. Or I need a way of configuring my PDA to be able to log in to some kind of an Internet. I don't have no mobile internet on my phone. That is why I either: Want for this app to turn on and use my FREE GPRS connection, or configure it somehow to be able to surf the web. But I don't think that is possible, since I don't even have that feature in my plan. But what I do have, is UNLIMITED Any Kind Of Messaging. So if it's possible to configure something through that, it would be super awesome. Thank You

Can't Update it Neither
My ROM is not T-Mobile, its HTC. I have a HTC P4951 (Unlocked). It’s a same thing as the Wing, except few little things. The ROM on it won't update to Wing's ROM neither. I tried that. So I need to actually install this or any other similar apps. But where to get it?
Thanx
P.S. I don't have any DATA plans (Mobile Net) on the account. Only Unlimited Any-Kind-Of-Messaging. If I did, there is a whole bunch of apps I could use. I want one to use my GPRS (or at least configure it to)
THANK YOU

Messenger application

I know there was an old thread on here but I could not find it, so, forgive me to ask again:
What is the best Messenger application for WM5 / WM6?
I love the look and work of AGILE MESSENGER but the price is way too high for a program like this! Also: users get routed through their own servers to 'validate' the lisence. This causes time delay and additional data trafic each time you connect and in a long run you pay more than you would have to if you pay per data volume.
It would be great to find a program what does at least the main 4: AOL, ICQ, MSN, YAHOO. What do you guys use?
You could try Octrotalk.
Useful info here,

you can try look for IM+.
this messenger can connect to msn, yahoo, google, jabber, etc...
if i'm not mistaken they also have a version which can connect to skype. but i'm not sure with this.
fring does all of them with the exceptio of Yahoo. Very light weight and supports voice on all. www.fring.com
im using im+ i can send it to you just PM for me

looking for instant messaging software

im looking for some kind of instant messaging software that can be used with wifi instead of the networks... is there some crack to at&t's oz, or is there some software someone can recommend?
Fring is free
Don't ask for cracks in this forum...
Fring is cool, as is Palringo - both are free.
But I prefer, for now, Agile Messenger, and there is also the famous IM+, both being commercial apps.
Hi !
You can also have a look on OctroTalk, beta free for now,
or on EQO, free
All of them can be used over Wi-Fi...

is there a yahoo messenger anywhere for the 8125

i looked on the web and in these forum and i cant find a yahoo messenger or all in 1 the oz messenger doesnt let me send pics or join a conference i tried agile but its not free if anyone stumblze across one let me know cuz i dont wanna pay for a yahoo messenger wen i am just gonna write like 5 people thanks for the help in advance..
If you want to use a YIM-compatible interface that allows those things, you're probably going to have to pay. Not only for the software, but in data transfer (unless you spring for an unlimited data plan).
Even with unlimited data, though, file transfers will be painfully slow on GPRS. WiFi is better, but you're anchored to a location, then.
And on a personal side-note: Better grammar will get you a lot more responses. Nobody minds deciphering for non-native English, but you clearly are just street-ing everything to sound "Kewl." This isn't English Lit 495, but please, communicate effectively if you expect the same in return.
so what is yim
I use Slick it does Yahoo, AIM, ICQ, MSN, Jabber, and Google Talk.

Sorry, Yahoo Instant Messenger = YIM.
My military penchant for acronyms has betrayed me again.
Yahoo messenger, u may try
You can try the one available here, its free btw:
http://yahoo-messenger.en.softonic.com/pocket
Though it installed alright on my phone but somehow couldn't log in just kept saying "connecting" maybe someone can try it and let us know how to connect.
I would personally reccomend Palringo, availible at http://www.palringo.com, it is also free, and supports AIM, YIM, GIM, MSN/LIVE, ICQ and more....been using it since the Excalibur came out so I know its good!

palringo is the best. i tried almost all of the im in your list and found that palringo is the least complicated, has descent looks and it connects faster even when using gprs. and yes, it can handle multiple yahoo accounts.
i get that Palringo Transfer All Data (For example username and password) in a not encrypt text file, so i think it's not secure and by the way i found that anyone can register in palringo with any email address and there isn't any confirm for email address!!!
now what do you think?!
if live messenger get connected with yahoo and we can chat with our yahoo add list with live messenger isn't better that we created MSN account and use Live Messenger?!
If I Import My Yahoo Contacts In Palringo Does Palringo Send An Add Requst To Them Or Just Import Them For Me With Out Their Permission?

Best FREE Gtalk Client

Can anyone suggest a good (and free) GTalk client ? I have tried Talkonaut and IM+ but I have had stability problems with both.
Thanks
Fring is pretty good.
OctroTalk and BeejiveIM are also good.
I like Palringo

PIGEON! is a good alternative. It's an ICQ/Jabber client that supports GTalk as well. It has a lot of customization options. In past experiences it has ran quite well for myself and a friend.
use skype
Use Skype itsfree
I think Nimbuzz is the best.
Nimbuzz is in 1 in All concept.
Nimbuzz Mobile lets you call, chat, message, and send files on the go, for free.
It combines all your buddies:
Skype,
MSN,
Yahoo,
ICQ,
AIM,
Google Talk
and more.
One login, one contact list, all accounts.
It's light and there is also a PC version available.

Good call. This would have been my second suggestion for him. Nimbuzz brings to Windows Mobile what Trillian brought to Windows on the PC (when it was first released).
