I belive it's not a dup post, if it is I am sorry for it. I am getting somehow crazy with this little problem.
I've lost haptic feedback from bottom buttons and touchflo tabs.
Already hard reset 3 or 4 times, flashed original rom and duttys with the same result. haptic lost, but in every test the vibrate function of the calling works without any issue - so it's clear that the hardware vibration is working ok.
If I install touch response, it will vibrate on any pressure without problems.
I have the right options checked on Touchflo cpl and on the but tons virtual.
the most weird is that teeter does not vibrate but the incoming call allways vibrates...
Any help ? ideias
Thanks a lot
I'm having the same problem. Lil help?
The haptic feedback is provided by a package in a kitchen, have you flashed a rom of your own? It's provided by the TouchFlo package

I seem to have lost the vibration feature on my buttons. All tabs are checked. Not recovered even after a hard reset. Probably a pre-hard reset app I'd loaded affected this.
Does anyone know of a reg tweak or another fix?
Thanks for the help

Does your phone vibrates when called?
Hi - thanks for taking an interest. The problem seems to have corrected itself.
I had to re-load .net CF 3.5. Don't know if that had an effect but after the hard reset and a couple of soft resets the buttons vibrate again.
Thanks again

Sky740, did you experience this problem again? I have not installed any other ROMs but noticed it after I installed some other software, including hd tweak, advanced config, mobilmagic button stuff and .net framework 3.5. Did you use any of these items/think they anything to do with it? I hope my problem goes away with my first Upgraded ROM. I saw another thread with the same problem, he was about to send back for warranty, but maybe I talked him out of it. Any information helps,
Thanks!
HI Guys,
Did you manage to figure out what is causing this? I have just got my HD and have the same problem...the 'haptic' vibration from the buttons doesn't seem to work. it has been like this from out of the box and i have not added any additional progs (only got it unlocked from Orange!!). the vibration works for incoming calls so it doesn't seem to be an issue with the hardware.
Any advice would be appreciated!!
Regards

well
well, haptic feedback you mean, any button you press, on touchscreen and all? The only buttons that are suppose to have feedback without touch response application installed is the home, back, phone answer and hangup buttons at the bottom. There is a setting for those vibrate items. Try settings, personal, buttons, virtual button, see the vibration check mark? Does the Teeter game have vibration feedback on yours? If these things make a difference for you, you probably don't have a hardware issue, but if your getting any vibrate, should just be settings. Some of us on here are having major vibration hardware dysfunctions, just awful
Thanks for the response!!
Sorry to hear 'bout the major vib issues
I have tried all the 'virtual buttons' settings and the touch flo settings but i dont get any response from any buttons. i tried TEETER but there's no response from that either, but again i get vibration when I'm called.
Just thought someone may have noticed a 'glitch' somewhere, cause i initially noticed that if you apply a phonelock pin on set-up, it disables the use of the end-key to lock the phone..and i thought it may have been a software glitch or something....
New to the phone and win mob so soz if these are noob q's

Hi Everyone
After doing some testing from my other thread about the sleep mode ive relise the vibration in my phone doesnt work at all. For msgs or txts.
I have set the intensity level up to the highest and wnt into diag mode *#0*#
but wont vibrate at all.
Anyways have any idea how to fix it ? It used to work with 2.1 (only got the phone a few days ago) and used kies to update to 2.2
thanks again everyone
Had the same problem. You need to turn up the vibration intensity, even if you don't use haptic feedback.
Back up your data and try a factory reset .
jje
Thanks for that guys
Tried both suggestions both nothing seemed to fix.
Rebooted the phone a few times and seems to be working now for some reason..
Rebooted a few more times and still woking so am happy.
Just need to work out how to get sms software to tell me how many characters im using (and i'll be happy).
Few other minor bugs like sometimes a random screen will pop up, and the touch screen seems verrry sensitive. like when im sms'ing if my finger is a few mm away from the key it will be pressed, but probs just me. All in all seems like a nice phone
thanks again for the assistance.
I have a dual boot HTC HD2 and have lost all haptic on my keyboard function. I have haptic on the dailer and still have my vibrate function, but nothing on text and etc. I have already selected & deselected the haptic in the menu and nothing has changed. I can't possibly be the only one with this problem. Any questions to help me with my issue will be answered.
Try a hard reboot, failing that a factory reset back up all your stuff first and its not to painful)
I've done the hard reset many times. With no luck.
I found a new bug.
When you turn off the haptic feedback, the phone still vibrates (like while answering or rejecting a call). However, when you activate the haptic feedback and adjust the intensity of vibration to 0) then even if you uncheck the haptic feedback, the settings works!!!
This means that the vibration intensity which is the sub function of haptic feedback overrides the haptic feedback whether it is switched on or off, What a joke !!!
I came across this while trying to turn off the vibration while answering and rejecting a call. I saw that haptic feedback is turned off and still the phone was vibrating, so i activated the haptic feedback and so the vibration intensity also got activated, then i slide it to 0 and then i disabled the haptic feedback and lo! the phone stopped vibrating.
Maybe you should write which firmware version you are using since on XWKF3 its ok for me.
works fine on my rom...
Isn't that supposed to be deactivated from call settings ? I think it's got nothing to do with haptic feedback settings.

On KH3 (2.3.4), it's under settings > call > call alerts > outgoing call vibration.
Unless I misunderstood what you were trying to do.
Haptic feedback setting under settings > sound is mostly for the menu & back keys.
Sounds like user error and stop the !!!!!!! Please
What was wrong with your other thread.
Most of the time the problem exists between keyboard and chair..
Here it exists between touch screen and back of users head.
Seeing as its not a new bug, will you re-title the thread?
its an ID Ten T error

Computer user, not terminal
Topic should be "USER ERROR."
Dont know what shud be the title , but it has solved a big problem i was facing. After sending bulk sms's, i get bulk notifications from my service provider (airtel) in the form of flash messages indicating me my balance and each time the phone used to vibrate and it was very annoying. I had tried all the settings and nothing worked, but setting haptic feedback ON and then decreasing its intensity to zero has solved the problem. so i also feel that thr is some bug here may be in some ROMs.
Hey guys. So about a week ago, I received the latest update from att (ASGK) and it came with haptic feedback for navbar gestures. They also updated goodlocks task manager with gesture haptic feedback as well. However, it has not worked on my phone since the day I recieved the update. Now its not an issue that will bring about the end of the world, but if anyone has some ideas of a fix for this, I would greatly appreciate it.... Haptic feedback is a small... but comforting feature to have lol.
Maybe try going into settings, sounds and vibrations, system sounds and vibrations, make sure touch vibration at the bottom is toggled on. Then back out one screen to the vibration intensity and adjust the touch interaction to your liking.
