hi guys - what screengrab software are you using?

in my today i have:
wisbar advance 2.6.0.8 (beta) with vista portable skin
phone alarm 1.60 (beta) with my custom skin
weatherpanel 2.5 (also beta) with a modification of weatherbox skin...
note that wp in a tab of pocket breeze (without the upper command line...)
and for taking that screen i'v used the option in handymenu 3.6 (dinarsoft)

Also, how are you navigating your pocketbreeze setup, doesnt appear as if there are any on-screen buttons to change tabs, or are you doing it entirely via hardware keys

i switch pages only via hardware pad... i've configured the pad to works only with pb, and then with right o left pad buttons i switch the pages...
the top bar is hidden by default...
my pa skin is under developpement, but here http://www.pocketmax.net/smf/index.php?topic=2614.0 there is bax2002 starting layout...

Main theme is Wisbar Advanced 2 with a vista theme.
The bt/mail/sms bar is phoneAlarm with a modification of the Media Phone theme.
The main window is Pocket Breeze, not sure of the theme.
Weather addin is Weatherpanel with another theme I can't find.
Can you guess I've tried to reproduce the look myself?
bubu, is there any chance of a copy of that phoneAlarm theme *please*? Media phone doesn't cut it for me and yours looks just about right.

I personally don't like a super-busy today screen, as I use my device in the car, and I need it to be easily accessible. I have therefore created a theme which uses Wisbar Advance + WA Desktop. I personally love it, but who wouldn't if they created it themselves?

It isn't wisbar, I only use these applications :
1. Vijay's Toggle today (so the today bars dissappears)
2. CESTART (an application that makes the Start bar go down to the bottom)
3. SBSH iLauncher (To get the icons)
That's it! Then it should look like my today screen on the picture.

You must run TodayToggle first and then you run CESTART.

I noticed that a thing was missing...

Pocketmusic wasn't appearing, and I removed the owner infos...
With ThemeGenCE I created the theme, but I still have to change something...

i copied the folders but choosing the wpl layout as you show in your video doesnt make it full screen
its a small box
i am only interested in the weather part
as ifonz iphone theme has man y easily configuarable options.

Well, that's two!
I had three major gripes with VITO's Winterface when it came out.
1. No wrap around scrolling. (Now fixed.)
2. No weather. (Finally fixed.)
3. No way to change the background or icons. (They fix this and I'm sold.)

Seems to work ok - but does not update very often.

tested:
- no chance to change background
- forecast only for the next Day !
- no additional informations
- no animations
- no settings for anything
so another vito "milestone" he he, forget it

4.2MB!...I'd expect it to make the tea as well

Instead use weather Watcher Mobile free too

weather watcher looks so ugly and oldschool and is not fingerfriendly
another one that looks better is "handy weather" (not freeware).
I´ve been searching a long time now for a standalone weather application (not a today plugin like weather panel).
there are two new nice apps here but there is some more work to do. So i sit and Wait

I myself basically don't care how it looks. As long as it works good.

I think Weatherface was the killer in the Texas 72 and Partly Cloudy Massacre.

I prefer Leatherweather

Since I've installed VITO weather (with Winterface 1.2), the pda (HTC TYTN) often connects to the internet. How can I set properly the connection? I'd like updating the weather when I want and not automatically.

(-) no true Winterface plugin. Weather button launches separate app.
(-) takes ages to load
(-) only rudimentary weather data
(-) only limited settings / options
(-) HEAVY memory hog
Not surprisingly, this didn't stay on my PPC for long. But it does look good in Winterface.

hi..i don't use touchflo because i prefer to use the standard windows mobile home screen..however, i realized the number of plugins available for the homescreen are really limited on the jade. is there anyway i can display missed calls and operator network on the today screen? i tried looking around the registry and i can't find anything..

Limited ?? well.. it depends on how high the expectation is. Anyway, if you choose not to use TF, then many plug-ins designed for WM 5.0 and above should work for Jade. There are many freeware plug-ins around.

There are registry settings that deal with operator network display. Here is an example http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=3248347&postcount=9 . However registry settings does not do the display, it only makes the info available. Some other apps/software need to take it and display on the screen.

hmm..i think i may not have phrased my qn correctly?
when i went to the today panel under settings..the amount of items that we can check to display on the home screen was pretty limited..there wasn't an option to display missed calls nor one that linked to the comm manager that i thought was pretty standard on winmo phones..hahas that's why i've been trying to figure out how to get those displayed again..i searched for home screen plugins but quite a few of those linked to stuff like spb mobile shell type..i don't need an entirely new home screen i just want to have the "missed calls" slot and the comm manager slot..

Have a look at the software available at www.spbsoftwarehouse.com. It is paid but IMO worth the money.

@fenikso ....He just said he dosen't want a spb software and you gave us a link to mmmmmm spb Isn't this weird

He said he does not like SPB mobile shell because it is today screen replacement.
I do not like it either. They have a lot more than Mobile Shell. For example, SPB Phone suite is simple today plugin and does exactly what he wants.

checked out the spb website! thanks fenikso..it is indeed packed with quite a lot of stuff. never checked it out before because i've always scouted around for the freeware hahas..
will purchase wat i need if necessary then..but i'll try to do with what i have currently first haha..i'm just a poor student..can't afford to spend extra cash on programs
