Start at bottom

as the title says how 2 have start appear at the bottom of the screen?i have searched alot but could find no where any body provide with link or solution???????

max414: this is quite easy to do in programming, but as far as I know there aren't any obvious applications that do it. It's not standard MS design and tends to confuse people.
A long time ago I did a number of hacks to relocate the start bar:

Would probably be nice to have it installed just to pull a prank on someone every once in a while.. :wink: As in claiming that you've successfully installed Windows XP Pocket Edition on a Magician :lol: Just like raptorz did with a WM5.0 ROM a while ago. :lol:

Can you explain please what is it??? I mean on screenshot. I've never seen before anything like this...

GKill: this is a hack I wrote for the terminal services client to have fullscreen remote control of Windows XP Pro/Media Center from your PDA. It's not 100% finished yet, but when I get some time I'll write some improvements for it.
The screenshot is from a Universal in VGA mode with my hack (blue dots in the top left)

How did you get it?
Is it usable also if you have a German localized version?

It was easy, just hard reset your device and reset it before it installs the software from the extended rom.
Copy commmanager.exe to a sd card and you have it.
To make things easier here it is.
If anyone knows how to do the same trick with the phone skin that would be lovely.
And I'm not talking about the Blue skin dialer.
When you switch on your device after a complete shutdown, the phone screen for your pin is still green.

You can change the dialer skin off with advance config tool...or just replace the skin with a new one....

can confirm whether the redial, smartdial and video call function is working with this dialer? Can use on any WM OS ppc phone, right? I've a Touch Cruise WM 6.0.

Hi, great Job, just install the .cab on my Artemis and it works fine, beautifull.
Don't forget to soft reset your device after the install. That's all
BTW, it's look like there is a skin plugin for the history calling list with the same design, is it true and do you have the possibility to share it with us.

On my Artemis the green button "appeler" or the one on the phone, doesn't work when i use this dialpad, it's a little "big" problem. Did someone else try this dialpad on a Artemis ?

Yes, and english version would be appreciated. I am not sure why this hasn't been done yet or why this was only made in French as English is a much more universal language.

One point now though. If you have it launch other apps/programs (Contacts for example) could you make those links be customizable!

I think i'll use a XML file to configure the app. But a lot of features will be build in, like the contacts for example.

Don't forget 2 essential parameters - speed and stability. We had many UI in the past which lacked these 2 things, something that limited their use IMO.

Really like the way it looks, definitely want to try it, when its done.

Actually i'm working on the app which will retrieve data from the phone (contacts, appointments, tasks, unread messages, missed calls... ) and send them to my swf app.
I also tested my first working release on my Hermes WM6.1, it's quite fast for the moment. I hope that it will be that fast with animations.

thanks for this working 6.5.1 taskbar. The htc original is so bloody boring and all the 6.5 versions I tried screwed up the bottombar :-/

for all different kinds of Cabs
so we know before trying
that would be real nice

Are all very similars, only change in some ones the BT and signal icons. You can test by yourself...

I used the originals dll of 6.5.1...only should change the taskbar...what build do you have???
