Anyone interested in the Blue Commmanager instead of the green one?
Looks nice together with the TyTN Blue Dialer.
Cheers,

Yes, me!
How did you get it?
Is it usable also if you have a German localized version?
It was easy, just hard reset your device and reset it before it installs the software from the extended rom.
Copy commmanager.exe to a sd card and you have it.
To make things easier here it is.
If anyone knows how to do the same trick with the phone skin that would be lovely.
And I'm not talking about the Blue skin dialer.
When you switch on your device after a complete shutdown, the phone screen for your pin is still green.
Cheers,
Drifter
Yust give it a try ghl10000.
If it doesn't work just go back to the original file.
Cheers Drifter
all ok now my commmanager is blue!
Thanks
Hi! Can someone post the original HTC Comm Manager here?
I'd like to come back at the green one
Thank you!
Take a hard reset...
just use Total Commander to get to the extended rom files and run these again. No hard reset
Thank!
Does the default one look anything like this?

You can change the dialer skin off with advance config tool...or just replace the skin with a new one....

This Cab file was in T-Mobile's Extended ROM. It changes the Comm Manager and gives you 4 buttons:
1. Phone On/Off
2. WiFi On/Off
3. BT On/Off
4. Activesync
I tested it on the latest Qtek ROM, and it works fine.
how does it look like? I mean is it T-mob looking or just the normal brushed metal comm manager look? if it's not too much trouble could you post a screen shot?
What program do you use to take screen shots?
you can use MagicSS [this one is on your device] saves as bmp
magic ss http://www.freewareppc.com/graphics/magicss.shtml
or on your PC via Activesync GetPDA Screen. saves as bmp/png/gif/jpeg
get pdahttp://www.pocketpcfreewares.com/en/index.php?soft=552

Is it still possible with the new CommManager to change to vibration only by press&hold the CommManager button?

Yeah that still works the same as before as well as still having a button in comm manager to switch to vibrate.
Ah, I just wondered because the screenshot doesn't show this button:
I just ran across some pics of the Orange m600 (HTC Prophet) today screen and noticed that it uses a really cool plug-in, different than any today screen plug-in I've yet to see (with the exception to WA2).

Would it be possible for anyone that has one of these to extract the plug-in from the ROM image?
u sure? I had orange rom and hated that plugin....
nonetheless here it is if you want to try it:
ftp://xda:[email protected]/Universal/Extended_ROMs/Orange_Extended_ROM/UI_Orange_UK_0727.cab
cheers
may i ask why you did not like this plugin? did it slow down the device too much?
From my point of view I prefer the normal today screen.
There's a guy in our office has one and likes the plugin.
Try it and see, that's all I can say.

Thanks for looking into the cab-file (why I didn't do it myself?)
Is there any way to get the Orange plugin or is it an endless quest......
Kick....
You can try to get from the ftp here, which is the extended ROM of Orange Magician.
The problem is, you do not know which one it is. Make your guess.
BACKUP YOUR PHONE before installing any of those CABs. You may not able to remove it later.
Anyway, my guess
Orange_New_Today.sa.CAB
Let us know what you've got.
No it is just TSK inside... i have not found in any of the orange ext roms such plugin
TSKs are almost regular CABs. You can check it - change the TSK extension to CAB and open in OCPSoft WinCE Cab Manager.
I know this of course, my point is that in Orange_New_Today.sa.CAB there is only one TSK file
Whenever I try to replace HTC default theme by another theme (including Windows Default) HTC theme remains.
I never had that issue with a WM device before (and I had plenty!)...
What can I do to change the theme - of course I know the normal process?
Thanks!

Facing this problems with Landscape as well as Portrait mode?
Secondly, try using some QVGA themes insted of Vga themes.
This is the max I can try to help...

The theme remains everywhere or only the dialer and com manager?
I tried with the themes that came with the device.
But if you select any of those, the original HTC theme remains.
No error message even.
Doesn't make sense!

The theme remains everywhere. Including on the Today screen...
Well that seems strange. :S
Considered doing a hard reset?

Not yet.
But hard reseting is always a pain: re-installing all those software, settings and all.
That would be my very last option! :?
Hey guys,
I got the iBliss dialpad skin from crash (in the wisbar forum) and updated it so that it's compatible with 3G phones. Here are some screenshots:

}
Now, I still can't seem to work out which file overlays the brightness bar (video call => click brightness button). If anyone can help me on that I can then finish off the skin.
Note that the installation cab overwrites your phcanrc.dll in your windows directory. You might like to back that up first.
thanks, i have installed it and its very nice one
looks very nice, thanks
can someone post a picture? I don't want to install it before I know how it looks like
...and does using this require you to have Wisbar installed on your device? oh yeah, pictures would be appreciated. thanks...
Absolutely great work
I have one request, if I may...Could you make the photo larger inside the phonepad, I love the looks, but there's plenty of room to make the photo with "normal" calls twice the size...pretty please...
Very great work, thank's
i have a question.
how i can have "keypad" button (left softkey in picture 3) when i do a call
now i have contacts there
Is this project still alive at all? Im having issues with this not displaying anything correctly on a Touch. Worked on a cooked rom, but i installed in on a new rom that didnt have it and now it looks all jacked up.

This does not display any numbered buttons for me with FInixNOver3.4 Black Edition
So I'm going to have to hard reset my device...
DIALPAD DEFAULT WITH DIAMOND STYLE ( WM6, 6.1, 6.5 QVGA)
*another interfaces dialpad targets ram cost a lot (2-3M)
*Dialpad default is full function, run target takes less ram (Only 500K) but the interface is not beautiful.
*I redesigned default dialpad with diamond style, hope you like it.
