having a problem with my JasJar SPV M5000

Hello,
I am having a problem with my JasJar SPV M 5000
I did a hard rest and it says: "press 0 to restore factory default
Press x to exit"
I pressed 0 and I got a massage: "clearing now" that despaired immediately and the screen becomes black.
Please advice.

LOL I would like a massage too everytime I Hard Reset my PDA..!
BTW try reflashing your device.

it will not reflash!!
i did flash it but it didnt help!! it will not reflash!!!
what do i need to do if i dont have anything on not the boot loud with the seril are USB on ???

i have lookt on it but iam with a problem with the boot loud that is not on screen !
i dont get the boot loud as i do the hard rest and i have lookt at the link you sant me but all the problem is the the Serial v1.01" screen is not thare as i do a hard rest so as it is on hockt on my pc i run the flash upgred and it cant do any thing as it cant see my Jasjer
all the info on the link thay say abut all of this hoo have the Serial v1.01" screen on as thay use this tool mtty1.42 i dont have the Serial v1.01" screen as i do the hard rest to restore factory default it becomes black
and no Serial are usb v1.01 thats it ! can i fix the boot loud so it will come beck on screen ?

with big mistake i was flashing my ELF with a wrong rom( svp s650)..
it unbootable I tried everytings hard reset soft reset nothing changes: = (just the green light that stays on ..

I tried a few searches but all the results say you need the bootloader screen , are you sure you didn't miss a step in hard reset or bootloader mode :
To enter the bootloader:
Hold down the camera button and reset device with the stylus. Keep holding the camera button until you see 'tricolor' bootloader screen.
An alternative way to enter bootloader:
Switch the device off by long pressing O/I (power) button. hold down the camera button while pressing the O/I button about 1 second. Keep holding the camera button until you see 'tricolor' bootloader screen.
Alternative(universal?) bootloader(3)
As almost all htc smartphones with onboard camera, when you push and hold the camera(photo) button, and plug in usb adapter. Even a "stupid" usb power adapter will work.
To hard reset:
Hold down send/reject buttons (green/red at the front) and reset with the stylus; release the stylus but keep holding the buttons till you get 'this will erase all your personal data' message, then press 'action' (big front button) to hard reset.

I'm not sure if it's possible with the HTC Touch, but I know when I was playing around with an old iMate SP3i (smartphone) I was able to do a ROM upgrade from files on the memory card.. Took me a few attempts to get it right, but it worked. I think I also upgrade my SP5 to WM6 from WM5 that way, but I'm not too sure about that.
Either way, a basic idea of what I'm talking about can be found here, but that is obviously for a different phone.. Maybe some of the more common members here would have better luck finding a similar process on a Touch....?

On some HTC devices (cheetah, for example) if you put the ROM file (.bin) in the root directory of the SD card, the phone will flash directly from the SD card.
I think you do require to put the phone into bootloader for that to work though ... not 100% sure, but probably worth looking up.

Ok... Been trying to search for more information for you, but with not really knowing all the correct terminology it's taken me a while longer than I thought. I've found two threads that have some of the information I was looking for:
Recover / Revive your dead / bricked HTC ELF or ELFIN
Recover HTC Touch from tricolors RUU boot-loader (Mtty)
The second link is actually found inside the 2nd post (I think) of the first thread I mentioned here, looks like they are linked in some way. Your best bet is to read through and see if it is something that may help. Let us know if this works for you...?

i was updating this rom "RUU_Gene_hTC_Asia_India_1.17.720.1_4.1.13.34_02.79.90_Ship" after 100% complete it turns off , but not start only Green and red light flash during press reset button...
i was try all methods,#remove batery 20 sec and then start with camer button & both camera and voice button. but result is same...
#No indication during Charging.,no usb detected in PC.
please help how can i recover my device ????????????????????????????????.....

first tell me that you r have a old gene or new gene????
After that how do you patch your spl i.e. which method you used......
1 more thus

contains any rom,gsm files....if yes then you have to remove it & after that you patch it..

Skin Is Not Loaded :(

hi my friends.
I changed my jasjar's tomal 6.1 rom to Original WM5 for sell my phone
but after changing rom, i have a terrible problem.
when i closed the battery for change the simcard and turn it on. when the windows logo appears a blue screen showed and the gsm led begin to work (blinker).
after several soft resets the windows starts and ready to work but when i press the power button to standby the device (sometimes) for turn on the device (after standby) the screen didn't appear.!!
i'm very upset
after that i flashing the radio to newer version (1.18) and flash back to WM6.1 TOmal , WM6 , ... but i still have this problem.
in the tomal's wm6.1 rom (TML_v82_WM61_19960) before the problem shown an error appears under the windows logo > The Skin Is Not Loaded < and after that a black or blue screen appears and nothing...
please help me to fix it.

Only thing I can think of is to doc-format (mtty). And then flash ROM again. Then make sure you Hard Reset.

It's not harmful - basically it totally wipes the device removing everything (including garbage). So you will, of course, need to flash a ROM afterwards.
