i have managed to make touchflo disappear from the today menu. it happened after using ssaap? the program remapping software. I can run it from file explorer but how do i get it back. i could live without it if i could find a nice weather plugin for homepage
I suppose you tried the obvious and reenable TF3D via Start>Settings>Today>Plug-ins>select TF3D?
If that doesn´t work, I´m afraid I can´t help you.....
Yeah I have the same problem. My Touchflo has dissappeared yesterday. I hadn't even installed anything new! Been through to the today settings and removed toucflo. Then put it back on and even after doing this it does not show up.

touchflo has actually disappeared from settings screen. Its not there?. All because i wanted to set agenda as my calender. It was going great until I tried to change the appointment link on screen and then gone. I recon I will re install duttys rom which is excellant. Its seems really fast.
Try a "full restore" with SSMaPa.......

Hi everybody, I hope this is not a too stupid question, but which setting should I use in S2U2 to display the weather? I use the build in weather forecast in the touch hd, but it seems not to matter what I select, it is never anything shown on the start screen .

First make sure you have the weather feature of S2U2 enabled and then select Manila 3D
works fine here

Thanx for the tip, it seemed to work for a moment after a soft reset, but than I got a call (2sec after restart), and it was gone again . So I think i now know which is the real one, but it just doesn't work for me.
I have the 15 tabs installed, could that be a reason? Do I have to change any setting directly in the weather tab itself? To activate it, do I have to do anything else in S2U2 than to choose how to display it?

maybe the 15tab is the issue but i cant confirm this since i dont use this mod.. maybe someone else confirm this?
i don't think that's the 15 tab issue cause i 've never installed it though the weather on S2U2 doesn't seem to work. I've got the same that Bill80 got. Somebody can help with this?
Same here...after a soft reset the first time S2U2 is started the weather is displayed. The second time S2U2 is started the weather is not beeing displayed anymore!

as i understood the reason that weather is shown after a soft reset is because TFlo3D hasn't launch yet. As i read in a other post, when you deactivate your Manila 3D then the weather on S2u2 works, when is activated the weather on S2u2 doesn't work. Funny huh??? may someone here knows how to fix it?

My mate also has touch HD and his weather shows fine on S2U2, so I copied his settings exactly and it still didn't work for me.

The answer is simple. so long you aktiv Touch 3D, so long the icons for s2u2 will not show. just off in "Home" Item "TF3D".
When the s2u2 start you will see actually all icons. I mean you will see the icons if you have got an email or missed call and you will see weather.

Thanks, but there's more to it than that. My mate uses Touch 3D/Touchflo on his, and the weather works fine on S2U2 so it IS possible.
I just wish I knew why his works and mine does not!
Do you have any weather database editor installed?
This was the problem on my HTC. After uninstalling the weather database editor, the weather icon was shown in S2U2.
With Weather Master it doesn´t work too.
I hope this problem will fixed soon...

That did the trick with me . Now only my hometown is gone .
I did have SPB weather and also a weather editor app (can't recall which) installed but I removed them both.
Also today I got rid of memmaid, Singh's 15 tab mod, and the 18 tab wedge action screen. After removing all these the Weather appeared once on S2U2, but has not been back there again since. Any ideas?
hey guys i was trying to install cab files to change the touch flo 3d icons.. but everytime install the cab file the icons just remain the same. what is the correct way to install the cab files.
i tryed searching rhodium threads but did not find anything sorry if it was answered.

Make sure you install to phone not sd card and reboot
I don't want to state the obvious, but have you restarted TF3D (either by soft-reset or via Today settings) after installation of your cab?
yes i have restarted numerous amount of times still nothing
I am having the same problem - only a FEW icons are updating after turning TF3D off, installing cab, soft reboot, turning TF3D on again.... Icons like Calendar, Weather, and others that I took off work just fine with ANY Icon skinning cab, but everything else - Home, People, Messages, Email, Photos and Videos, and Settings do NOT skin over...... Have searched my phone to see if something is preventing icons from not skinning, but cannot come to a solution....
I need to get rid of the half-and-half look!!!

I've just upgraded to the official 6.5 ROM.
If I select the Weather tab, after a moment's pause the screen changes to one just showing HTC in the centre, then returns to the Today screen.
If I click on My Location under the flippy clock, this seems to take me to the Weather tab again, and the same happens.
Under 6.1 I had added locations to the Weather app, following instructions found on the forum.
Can anyone please help me get the Weather functionality back?

One the home screen right under the clock I can see just "my location" text a thats it..I am unable to find any information on the internet.. Any time I try update it manualy from weather menu I get message about communication problem..But when I manualy added few other locations there is no problem at all..Just "my" location info is still empty..Does anybody know how to tell my bloody phone where am I ? On your homescreen you can click the "My location" and from there select what location should be seen on the homescreen. Go to the weather tab first to add your city.

I've got My Location set OK, but still can't get the Weather tab to function at all - I just get returned to the Today screen.
Hmm, maybe im doing something wrong. I cant get my location to update in the main weather tab but i can add citys as the other user said. However if i click the "my location" tab under the clock on the main screen, it takes me to the weather tab of my location which is blank as it wont update for some connection error but i cant see how i can make one of the other citys i have added to appear on my homescreen?
I couldn't get this to work either... but I've got it working now... for some reason nothing works until you go to weather tab --> menu --> settings and select " download weather automatically"
After that, if you select "my location" as your clock... it automatically updates to where you actually are... neat huh!

Then, a few seconds later, I'm dumped back on the start screen.
Please can anyone suggest a solution? I did add cities to weather under 6.1 - could this be anything to do with it?

hmmm, sounds like manila/sense is actually crashing when you go to the weather tab, as the screen you describe just sounds like the blank today screen with no ui on top of it, then it is restarting tf3d and hence bringing you into home screen... odd
Unfortunately, trying to fix the problem I fear I've bricked the phone!
Thinking the issue was that I had edited the 2330fc3c_manila file (to add my location to the Weather cities) I searched for a 'virgin' copy, found what I thought would do the trick in a thread on this forum and installed it.
After this, and a reset, the phone wouldn't launch HTC Sense - the screen invited me to tap to launch it but wouldn't go further...so I tried to restore from a pre-6.5 backup.
Unless anyone knows a way of reviving it, the Topaz is on its way to the menders this afternoon!
I assume you did a hard reset and not just a soft reset?
Yep, tried that - it won't go past the initial screen.
Just reflash a rom. that should fix it
hi everybody, i installed my mobiler (so i can control my hd2 from my pc) and since then my sense main screen 'moved up' (hard to explain..look at pics).
i can see in the bottom right the my mobiler icon..but even if i disable it and softreset..well the screen is still miss-aligned (the icon is not there anymore).
my guess is that even other programs that have this type of icon would cause the same thing..
anybody experienced this b4? any help

Yeah, MyMobiler shows down there but only when you have the standard wm 6.1 plugin home screen. It shouldn't appear there while sense is activated. I have it installed also and it doesn't show up. Try disabling sense and enable it back and see what happens.
yup..i already tried uninstalling..disabling and deleting reg and then restart phone and/or sense...it stays the same .. pls help...i dont wanna hard reset again...just got everything working as i wanted...
oh..and by the way, de unde ai gasit un hd2 in rom?
i had the same problem just after the install of e-Natives Showcase
i don't know if is this program to create the issue but just after i removed it the phone went back to normal.
Just a thought, but in
start - settings - all settings - today - items
is there anything more than just HTC sense ticked? Could be that it is trying to show the app, and then show the senseui which is then trying to stack.

as for your suggestion, good idea, but nope nothing else is checked for me.
hi everyone im trying to uninstall cookies 1.8.5 due to the menu on the home page not workin at all. it highlights when i press it but nothing happens. i cant edit home layout or wallpapers or chteditor itself. it does work from the windows menu but not the the menu tab located at the bottom right of the screen. i was messing with the home layout personalizing it as ive had it since it came out (1.8.5). i had the previous cookies version before and never had a problem (1.7.1, 1.8.0). ive installed a quite a few apps including notification colors and colors for toggle and switches made by dinik that come in the 1.8.5 version of cookies. dont think theres any issues there as ive had them for a while now. i was going to uninstall cookies and reinstall it as im sure it everything would go back to normal again, but i try to and it say "not all of the program could be deleted do you want to remove from programs list?" i press yes but doesnt even erase it from the installed programs list. im stuck dont want to hard reset unless i really have to any advice? also i uninstalled the toggle and switches colors cab and the icons themselves have dissapeared except for the text under it but they do work when i click on them. i have the tmous hd2 with stock rom 2.10.531. thank for any help
I think this was a bug in 1.8.5, for some ROM's , I think there is an updated version, maybe just install over the top both the CHT and the Editor ...
I am not sure of this but I think I read it somewhere if I see it I will post it ...
this is something else i reinstalled cht on top of it and now seems like cht is completely removed besides the editor? that was kind of weird! im goin to reinstall it one more time to see what happens!!

Have you tryed closing HTC Sense before you uninstall Cookie.
Had a problem removing a previous version of Cookie but closed Sense and then went to remove applications and it removed ok. Then just restarted Sense and everything was ok.

thanks guys for your help. what i did was reinstalled over the existing cookies 1.8.5 that was already there. i restarted the phone and all of cht was completely removed, how, i have no idea! so i installed it a second time and now everything is the way it should. sounds odd but whatever works i guess. so anyone that cant uninstall cht using the remove programs feature just install cht over the existing one and it should remove it completely, atleast for me it did! install it a second time and you should have it working fine. or take "rutster" advice wich seems the more reasonable way of doing it. would of tried that first but couldnt wait for people to post their advice! thanks though as i will try that next time i have an issue like this one!

that usually works with most things that give you an error when trying to remove them...... took me a while to figure out too.....

go to your settings tab.......
press menu (bottom right soft key)
all settings.....
today........
items tab......
uncheck sense and check windows default.....
ok..........
do what you need to do.....
just go back there to restart sense........

I have more or less the same problem: can't remove cookies home tab 1.85 from my HTC Pro 2, 6.5 device. I've read all the posts but nothing is exact the same.
I'have installed CHT 1.85 but it didn't work at all, later I tried to install CHT 2.00, the installation was not succesful because Pro 2 tries to remove CHT 1.85 first which appeared to be impossible. (Senze of, erarse RAM fully). Looks like system got froozen while undeleting. Please help because CHT looks great and very useful.Thanks
