I'd really like that Mugen Power 2000mAh original sized battery but it looks like its going to be a while before it comes out

I just wanted a Hermes, and i just got one! but a 2000mAh battery sounds sexy!
on the topic of batteries, at the store i just bought my I-Mate JasJam from, the display model had a 1350mAh battery, i just took mine out of the box and it has a 1300mAh, whats up with that?

oops, just looked at the wiki and s/n 645 comes with a 1300mAh battery, so the disply model must be and earlier s/n

I just got two Vodafone HT648s (long story).
The first had a 1300mAh Herm160, the second had a Herm161 1350.
The first has gone back.
They clearly just have two suppliers and use what ever is at hand.

I want a Rom update or fix that supports Line1 and Line2 so I can finally retire my old P910i. As it is I have to keep swapping out the sim which is now getting to be a right royal pain in Le derrière!!

she doesnt realise that the only reason why i like gadgets is that they dont nag me continuously as she does, and when I press the hermes' buttons, it responds, not like her
merry xmas,,,, im in Melbourne AUstralia and instead of it being summer its freezing cold, 11deg celcius at the moment. Weird and strange weather. the last 3 weeks it has been scorching hot weather, 1/3 of our state has burnt down with bushfires, and now its going to snow,,,, go figure......

damn jasjamming! I was in Melbourne in '03 around this time of year and it sure wasn't 11deg! It's so sad to hear about the fires there too.
Here in WI USA, its 10deg right now. It should be -10....

yeh slueth, its pretty bad, it reached 43deg C two weeks ago, and now its colder than winter. the funny thing is during our winter we hardly got any snow falls on the alps, and today its snowing on the alps,,,,,
It is bitter sweet,
but overall sweet as we need the rain - ie. serious drought in AUstralia now and hefty water retrictions in place, and to contain the bushfires. We have 2500 firefighter or more currently fighting the fires from all aroudn Aus and New Zealand. The whole state was covered in smoke for a couple weeks, you couldnt even see the sky (and im in metro melbourne)

btw, my device is still on its initial charge, think i'm gonna unplug it within the next 20 min and cut its first charge 3 hours short to 5 hours.

hrmmm, getting back to "what i want for xmas" i beleive and integrated MEMS gyro ([SIZE=-1]accelorameter) will be great. Application could be, for e.g. when you throw your hermes at someone u dont like, the gyro will trigger and you can set up an event that plays your favourite song while the pda is flying through the air about to hit its target.
also, maybe some technology like those "skull phones" have so i can talk on the phone to the local pub to see what time it closes (and hear perfectly as sound waves are being transmitted as vibration through my skull and reaching my eardrums from the inside) while my wife is yelling at my in the background because I havent taken the trash out to be collected.... heaven...

Hey guys, I just wanted to show the difference without the flash on, and with the flash on at night, from a distance. I read in some online reviews that the flash wasn't powerful, and admittedly, the flash doesn't make the second shot a "good" shot, but I think it goes a long way to show how far it can project, and thus its potential.
I personally didn't expect it to reach that far, and even brighten the picture up as much as it did.

How many year was the Redbreast? I am a bit of a whiskey aficionado. If you haven't tried the 18y/o Redbreast give it a go, has a very unique citrus like flavor, and is great for sipping with a meal.

It was a 12 y/o whiskey. was very good, a bit spicy. Served with dark chocolate and ginger candy.

The 12y/o is a bit spicey, is better IMO (and as your pic seems to show) on the rocks. Actually, 12y/o's across the boards seem to like being served on the rocks. If you are much of a whiskey fan, check out Jamesno Gold Reserve, $60 a bottle, one of the tastiest affordable whiskey's I have ever had, and has a really complex flavor so drinking it never seems to get old.

not a great photo because of the lighting but its the first one I took with the phone. Was at the race track all weekend. it was 5mp and when looking at it fullsize on my computer I'm quite impressed with the camera on this thing. resized it to 800x600

I was honestly surprised as well. I took some video at a concert (extremely loud) and it did a good job of maintaining sound quality and the video quality was pretty great as well. The biggest problem was me being able to hold the damn thing steady... but that was a situation/personal issue, not the phone/camera itself lol.

To begin with I was dissappointed with the camera bit recently have take. Some really great pics. Better than the inspire. And im Starting to like the screen colors too. There is also quite a lot you can do post pic taking in the viewer app.

The camera IS pretty good. A lot of people seem to think it sucks...but from all I've seen by using it, its actually kinda nice.

Yea but quicktime is what sucks because it trys to cache the whole 1.2gb before playing

I think it is awesomely bad. I was playing around with my Dad's Atrix and all of the pics seem a little blurry. I thought there might be a lens cover from the factory and looking at it, it certainly doesn't seem as clear as it should be. I tried picking at it but it wasn't going anywhere. Anyone discover a lens cover on their phones?

Downloaded the video... looks great! I'm impressed. Haven't taken video with mine yet, but yours looks great even though (I'm sure) the lighting couldn't have been that good in that arena. Very nice!

Some one should start a "Pictures taken using my Atrix" thread :x that way I can compare to what I have

There might be an issue with the adhesive use for the lens cover. Bring it in to AT&T and see about getting a replacement. My pics look clear.

Make sure you wipe down the lens. It picks up dirt and fingerprints so easily.
No really. Every time I want to take a pic, I take a look at the lens window and it's dirty.

Minjin - there is no cover on the phone out of the box.

Yep the microphone of the camera is pretty awesome. Recorded this in at an extremly load concert.

Perfect! I was wondering if the improvement only applied to Superior Auto mode, Burst, Panorama and what not but not the Manual. Turns out it seems to really be on their post-processing software and not just the various modes!
This made my day and I'm excited to shoot even more stuff with the new firmware. Thanks!
P.S. 8 Minute update time is really fast! I updated mine through SUS around 2 hours

I had the download finished, all it took was the flash and reboot. Was amazed, too, considering it takes about 3 hours for my HTC phones to upgrade.

It seems that the old version can't focus accurately, or it was a Gauss Blur filter in the old algorithm.

I have been taking pics and videos for the last hour and it's night and day.
Auto focus and auto brightness are finally fixed.
Dynamic range working as it should.
The camera is much faster. Zoom has also improved up to X10. After that it remains funky.
Really happy now.

Have you tried pictures in a dim environment?
For me it's absolutely smudging every detail even after the update, doesn't matter if scene optimiser is on or off.
Taking a picture of my dog she looks like a white splotch where as the Plus model shows her fur in very good detail

Those are pics in dim light. They are so much better than before the update.

Can you please tell me if the zoom is improved only after taking a pic, or in the viewfinder as well?
Also can you post some pics to imgbb in full res before and after, if you got some close stuff you took shots before. Thanks alot.

hello mate, glad that you received the update. can you tell how is the quality of the picture when you zoom in like 50 times, is it still oversharpened and like oil paint?
