Hello, i got a Defy with this issue, i had no sound on the earpiece (i know about the infamous case of faulty earpieces) and no sound on the loudspeaker and neither using the headphones... it could be a software problem? Everything else is working fine, there's no water damage at first sight (i haven't opened the phone yet, to check the motherboard if rust is present)... physically its in excellent condition...
Someone had this problem before? What should I do before doing exhaustive flashing / changing parts? Thank you and sorry for my english.
Hey guys, i received my G2 (european version) yesterday and i noticed that there is an annoying noise in left ear when listening to music;
I googled a lot but every fix was really complicate for me and those threads were posted in march/april. Now that we're in october, is there an easiest way to fix this? I can't stand this noise, i'm afraid i'll have to give it back if i don't find a solution...
Sorry for my english and thanks for the help
Hi guys
Are most of you opening up your case and removing the grill from the external speaker to improve the sound?
I read this hack recently. Sorry if there has been a post about this
Hi all,
Have always got bits of grime in my earpiece as I'm sure everyone has at some point.
I usually just clear it out but this time it's remained really quiet, any tricks for clearing it besides ripping it apart ? First phone I've had where this has happened.
Used a toothbrush
Compressed air
Bluetac (push then lift)
Anything else ?
I'm having problems with sound balance... Sometime right/left one sounds low.. when replug 2-3 times it's fine...

You didn't mention and it's off topic but did you cleaned your headphone socked and used another headphones/cables? Sounds more like grime or hardware failure of your headset/cable.
I tried different headphone but the problem remains... I don't think it's hardware issue as sometime right side gets unbalanced sometimes left side... Let's see if anyone else facing same issue
All of the above are off topic I'm not referring to the headphones.
Not only that but I know it's hardware now..
Mod please can this thread be closed, I have another with relevant info in it.
Cheers.
