How do i stream audio from my pc?

I've used orb and its pretty amazing, but I want to take this a step further.
Orb allows you do download and play music files that are stored on your pc's hard drive.
What i want to know is if there's a way to stream whatever audio is being played on your pc at any time to the mogul.
Basically what i want to do is set up my napster account to just continuously download and play random songs from their radio feature on my home computer and have my pda pick up the audio that is coming out.
Does anyone know how to just stream all sounds that are being outputted from the base machine to the mogul?
Thanks
Figured it out.
Windows Media Encoder to the rescue!
God damn i love technology.
...well? Can you share how you did it with the rest of us? I have a Napster subscription as well, and since the Sprint Mogul doesn't support Napster at this time, I'd love to figure out how to listen to Napster on my mobile, even if I have to leave it running on my home computer.

I used windows media encoder and virtual audio cable. Virtual audio cable basically emulates an audio cable going from your computer line out into your computer line in or mic in so that there is no loss in quality. I then used windows media encoder to broadcast a stream based on whatever was coming into the mic in.
With virtual audio cable, anything audio that I play is automatically fed into windows media encoder and then broadcast as a stream that i can pick up using windows media player or core player on my titan (now touch).
Basically it goes: whatever is playing -> virtual audio cable loopback -> windows media encoder stream broadcast -> mogul/touch
Using remote desktop, I can go in and change napster stations and playlists, and so on. Better than xm or any of those because i get full access to all of napsters content.
No more sd card for me hah.

Play music through USB?

Audio input over USB?

Specifically, HTC Fuze as USB computer speaker - possible?
It may be too complicated a hack, but I would like to use the speakerphone of my HTC Fuze (Raphael) as a cheap USB speaker for my computer, for when my 100 watt stereo speakers would be too loud and when I don't feel like wearing headphones.
Just a kinda funny but fairly unnecessary usage scenario. So, how to do it, and is it even possible?
pretty sure that pda's can performe the tast of an usbSoundcard
but when connected to activesync the pda would have the same network
as the pc and as so being able to map a shared network drive and play music from it

Thanks, but I need it to output games and application sounds, not mp3s.
Not sure if it would need a WinMo driver, an xp driver, or what. Maybe record computer's sound in realtime and play file from disk, also in realtime? Some sort of streaming? Just throwing out ideas. I have no idea how to make it work.
you would need a dummy sound driver on the pc and then a "server" app on the pc feeding a socket which the client driver on the pda would play
but you could never get it to do it real time
even if you used 2 pc's rather then a pda in the client end
and the pda would slow it down even more
but you could do it over bluetooth if the bluetooth device in your pc supported audiogateway then the pda would work as a soundcard for the pc

Thanks Rudegar! Too bad about USB, but that sounds even better. Knew I should have gotten a fancy bluetooth adapter for my computer instead of a wifi one!
they are pretty cheap just make sure you get one with a good newer broadcom bluetooth stack software

I am using it with my notebook, in my car etc. You must buy cable jack 3,5 too and set your notebook as a "line in"

Streaming music via USB

I've been using an iPhone for a few months because my S6 got stolen. I'm able to stream music with Google Play Music via USB. It sounds much better than via BT.
I know I can play stored music via USB, but is streaming music possible via USB?
