I set the networkcard and the wifi-network to "internet". As connectionsettings i use for default connection "eplus internet" and for private "company". Can s.o. pls help me I dont't know where to search or what to try.

i have no idea about those specific apps. but get the nodata program from modaco and you can turn off the connections you dont need there easier. Maybe it will solve this problem for you
Nope, i've already tried this ptrogram... =(

Hi all,
I got this message on my Wizard when I try to enter any web address or click a favorite : "The address is not valid. Check the address and try again.".
I think it must have happened after I used Mermaid to clean some wrong registry, now IE just doesn't respond well. (however another browser works, like AvantGo or Mini Opera).
I have hard-reseted the device and restore system settings but no luck (since the system restore must have put the error back in place).
any idea ?
thx in advance.
maybe you have to change the settings in the connection tab. I had a similar problem and it was because by default the GPRS connection was used and I only wanted to use WIFI. Make sure that the connection settings are correct for your service provider.
hope this helps
nope, not working with either GPRS or Wifi
even so that opera works fine with both GPRS or Wifi or LAN connected to PC. And I did compare my connections settings to a friend who has the same phone, the same O2 provider and they are both similar.
So my question is more :
- how do I reinstall Internet Explorer only ?
is there a way ?

You can't. It's part of the Mobile O/S.
Do the hard reset again but don't restore the settings. See if it works.
hard reset was the answer
such a shame ... :-(
Did you find some solution? Was it OK after hard reset?
Removed IE--How to redirect programs to Opera?
I have a related problem:
I installed Opera Mini 4.1 and it works great, much quicker and better display than IE. However, it appears that a number of other applications have failed to work and time out without IE. Do I need to reinstall IE? (I was able to set up Opera to open with the IE button.
Does my question make sense? Basically, programs that need a browser don't seem to connect through Opera. How do I direct them to the new browser in the absence of IE? Thanks in advance!
Gary
i cant get opera mini on my wizard. help, please. says phone model not detected
Can someone please help me.
A few days ago, I was unable to send and receive mms messages because my settings were incorrect.
How can I have this phone set so that MMS works correctly, but my WIFI and programs like Agile will connect to the internet using gprs?
I'm on cingular 8125
ok, i kinda figured out whats goin on...
it's not connecting to the gprs when i launch the program... if i happen to send a photo and the phone is connected gprs, then agile will connect.
is there a way to make agile just connect to gprs when you launch the program?
I find that opening IE then letting it auto connect to GPRS then opening agile is the best method. Its what I do. But if there is a command to make a program auto connect to web id like to know it.
Under Settings->Connecitions->Connections->Advanced->Select Networks
What options do you have chosen?
the way i fixed the problem is by using the registry wizard and turning gprs always on... so far it's working good.
if for some reason it doesn't connect, i do the trick listed before and connect to the internet, then agile.

Hi,
I have recently picked up an Orange SPV M3100. I installed skype 2.2 on it and tried to run it. The login screen comes fine, but when I click on "Sign in", it gives me a pop up saying "Skype needs an internet connection to function. Do you want Skype to connect to the internet through a cellular connection?"
When I click YES, I get "Unable to connect to the internet. Please check your network settings."
My internet through IE works fine on GPRS. It is good speed and works excellent. I am able to use MSN Live as well, but Skype doesn't seem to be working.
I've been through posts - where there have been suggestions to check the proxy settings. But there are no proxy settings in the mobile.
Anyone who can help me out here?? Most posts discussed how easy it is to connect to Skype using GPRS and how easy this works. I have been trying for quiet some time to no avail.
Alternatively, can someone give me an older version of this Skype for PPC, which might work for me??

Hi,
Thanks for the quick response. I have been through the thread. But the thread says that this can still be used for chat. I can't even log on. Any help here??

Same here. I have the Cingular 8528 and have the same problem.
Please use the other thread referred to above.

I´ve got a question. I´ve currently have WM6 Official DOPOD release on my mobile. I installed Schaps Tweak application and Schaps Command manager ( 12 buttons )
The problem that i have is that i have a 3g/HSPDA connection configured. And when any apllication tries to connect to the internet, that data connection is astablished. Even if i disconnect it from the command manager, the next time that a connection is required... there it goes again.
I´m looking for something, like a tweak, that DISABLES IT and doesn´t permit any program to turn it on... just when i enabled it from command manager.
Is this possible ?
I would also like to disable the connection ballon that appears when a connection is trying to be astablished or when it fails... those ballons are a pain in the ass !!
commmgrpro or bandswitch

NoData
MoDaCo has a program called NoData that does this. I use it all the time.
It disables your edge/3g connection so that you only use wifi when available.
Very basic, but works great.
I have neither the link nor the file handy, so you'll have to google it.

Go through: Start/Settings/Connections/Connections/Advanced/Select Networks and set the first drop down box as My Work Network and be sure your wifi connection is set as Work and not The internet.
still...
I don't have a "my work network" settings...what should I do ??...and that's because i use wap also..what should i do ...will downloading a new ROm be the Answer??
mmm... if you're using wap/gprs, try setting the above description from Scotchy fo MY ISP... that should be your user defined wap connection.... maybe this will help, maybe not, I don't have your OS.
