Problem #1)
I'm using a Jabra BT3030 stereo headset with my Blackstone.
I don't want to use it as handsfree, so I've only ticked "stereo" under the BT device settings. Problem is that it connects both stereo and handsfree.
If i manually tick "handsfree", save, then disable it and save again, it connects only stereo, no handsfree.
...but after powering down my Jabra headset and powering up, the problem is back.
It works as expected on my Polaris!!
Problem #2)
I like to listen to audio books, therefore I use Coreplayer, since it can resume where I left off.
Problem is that the default music player grabs all bluetooth play/stop/rew/fwd commands, so I end up with the audio book in Coreplayer AND music from the default player SIMULTANEOUSLY. Very annoying.
Also works as expected on my Polaris. (First audio application started obeys the BT commands)
Any ideas? Is it possible to disable the default music player?
For audiobooks I'm using Pocketplayer alt. Mortplayer. I have problems using BT3030.
I have to say, unfortunately I cannot help, but I do find the bluetooth in WM6 to be pretty feeble [and I cannot alter the setup definitions from what it 'wants' to pickup by default either].
My biggest problem is with the auto pickup [after 'X' rings] - it doesnt work on 2 of my devices (works ok in the car though) - works perfectly on my old motorola/sony ericsson/nokia etc etc .....
Bloody annoying

Using the Voice Command over Bluetooth registry hack I am able to have the BT headset kick in and work with Voice Command perfectly well. I can even change the registry setting to have it run something else, like te Media Player, and hear music over my head set (It's a Jabra XJ10 btw). Problem is, the headset stays connected for only about 15 seconds, before switching off and the TyTN using it's main speaker again. Has anyone figured out how to keep the connection on by any chance?
It shows that playing music over a non BT Stereo headset is possible. But it stops automatically after 15 seconds as voicecommand restarts. I think there is some way to rework this so we can listen to music with the BT headset.

Click to collapse
The 15 second thing applies even when te button is made to run media player, or some other software, not just voicecommand. I am hoping there is some registry fix that can be changed to fix this. Either that, or some hardware registry fix that would allow me to change the already-detected handsfree profile of my headset into a BT Stereo profile. If anyone has a BT stereo headset and access to registry settings for it, please post them here so I can try messing with it. Thanks.
I did see a program some where on here that allowed you to click a check box and it put all audio through the BT headset. Search around, I'll see if I can find it again.
I have an iTech S35 bluetooth headset for taking calls and listeneing to music but everytime I connect it to my Tytn by BT, I always have to go into the settings of the BT connection on the Tytn to 'set as wireless stereo'. I have to do this every time or I can't listen to music - is this right or have I missed a setting along the way?
I don't have the s35 but with my sony ds I just set it up once, if I want to activate it I just press the play button on the bluetooth headset and it goes into wireless stereo, try pressing the power /play button on the s35 to see if it switches, you should only set it once, there are some clips that had issues though, but I don't think the s35 was one of them.
Hey Sean,
I've got the same issue!!! The manual does say after switching the S35 on you shoulf press the MFB to initiate the connection but this doesn't happen!.
I'll try the headset with some other phone like the N70 tomorrow and see what happens there as the headset is in work - no it's not! It's here!!! Let me try and post another reply...
Gav.
Just tried with my PC and have the same issue. Need to tell my PC to connect to the headphone profile after switching on the S35.
EDIT:
Just stole mt friends Noaki 6680 and installed the I-Tech MSI player on it. But you need to configure which BT device the player uses so what i think is happening is that when you play music (can only be with the MSI player for stereo) the software connects to the S35 first like doing 'set as wireless stereo' on the TyTN then plays the music...
Nightmare, might have to upgrade to an R35 or somethigh with a remote as I think the remote command from the clip to the TyTN initiates the BT connection for audio also.

Hello, I have bought a Jabra BT3010. If I used it for a call, it is great. But if I want to use it for listening to the music, I can't. A was tring set it as Wireless stereo, but this funcion is "gray". Is there any way to use it for listening to the music?
PS: I'm sorry, if this problem was discuss somewhere here, but I did not find anything...
I think, I have found what I need. It si BlueTooth Audio v1.0. I have just download it and it works great, but I don't try, what happed if someone call me.
you mean you want to listen to your music playing through your bluetooth right?
I belive what you need is this just install it to your device
Windows
Start Menu
Programs
I can't upload it here
E-mail me if you need it thou.
Ok, I have tried BlueTooth Audio v1.0 and also I made script (with MortScript), that I mapped on left softkey. So allways I want to listen the music, I run Audio Manager and than run the script. That script turn off my screen, run BlueTooth Audio v1.0 and then lock the keyboard, so I can continue listening on Bluetooth handset. If some call me, I can answer like normal, but after the call I have to lunch the script again.
Are anyone know about any similliar program?
Should have gotten the Jabra BT 8040 -- it supports the stereo profile and works great on the Kaiser without additional software (WM6.1 or newer)
I have been reading many threads on getting the "stereo audio" connection to auto connect fot BT Stereo headsets. It seems that when you pair it the first time, both "Hands Free" and "Stereo Audio" are working. When you disconect your headset and reconnect it again, only "Hands Free" connects.
I have tried A2DP toggle and A2DPSwitch, but they dont seem to work on the HD2. A2DP toggle did work when I had my old Samsung Omnia i900, so I can assume that its something to do with the HTC Phone Bluetooth stack
Each time I want to use the BT Stereo headset, I need to go to settings/menu/all settings/Bluetooth/590Plantronics and expand + and select "Stereo Audio". They then connect.
What I would like to do is until there is a fix for this, to reduce the number of taps, is create a shortcut to the Bluetooth Control Panel that shows the 590Plantronics device.
Is this possible?
Thanks Chris
Just make a shortcut to Windows\BTManager.exe and add it as a quicklink.
hi,
i have a jabra 3030 and a motorola s705 and both are reconnecting (handsfree and stereo audio) properly, when i turn them of and on again. when i go out of range (eg. forgot the mobile in teh car), when i come back the handsfree connects direct, and the setereo audio after i press the play button once. maybe this works for you also.
regards mad
I installed AutoA2DP on my phone and ever since, whenever I turn on my headset, it always connects as both stereo bluetooth and headset. I haven't tried it on an HD2 but you should definitely try it out.
I found the .cab of AutoA2DP awhile ago but forgot where I found the download link. In any case, I have attached it for your convenience.

Hi kilrah, thanks for your advice! That cuts out a few blinkin clix now and will do as a work around till this fiasco is solved, lol
I also noticed something very bizzare, and it is confirming my suspicions that HTC is in cahootz with MS or Widcomm or both, lol.
I tried using auto a2dp as suggested by GurWu, leaving the a2dp.ini file as wmplayer.exe. I then deleted the Plantronics from the system, re-paired them and what should spring to life after turning on the cans? You guessed it..WMP all paired up with HF and Stereo Audio. Turned off the headsets, turned them back on again and sure enough, WMP launches and plays thru the headsets.
All good, except I wont use WMP as it STILL doesnt have an EQ (Not getting in to why one needs an EQ or not here, lol)
No problems, I thought, Ill just set the a2dp.ini to pocketplayer.exe (my preferred player) turned on the headsets and.......nothing....no pocket player came to life.
Doing a manual launch of PP revealed that the headsets were only paired as HF, so back to my original problem.
Renamed a2dp.ini back to wmplayer.exe and it all works as it should....mmmmmm...does this wreak of a MS/HTC/Widcomm ploy? LoL
PS @ mad: When you said press the play button, were you referring to the play button on the software of your chosen media player or a hardware button as I dont have a play button on my HD2
PPS: Got a reply bacl from a2dp toggle author, says that it only supports M$ BT stack :-(
Cheers Chris
Hi guys!
So, the Xperia support A2DP just fine, also in combination with my car stereo (a Pioneer Avic D3BT set). However, I find that when I start playing audio (doesn't matter if this is music or satnav guidance) before I start the car (and hence the stereo set), not only will the audio not be re-routed to the stereo, but the phone also fails to connect with the A2DP part. Phone audio (headset profile) is connected OK, though.
Is this normal behaviour/has anyone seen the same behaviour?
Oh, and if anyone has a way of transferring contact to the phonebook of the car, I'd be delighted to hear about it. For me, it will immediately disconnect if I even attempt to transfer a phonebook item.
Hey Stampot. I have a Pioneer BROWSE system(BTB200) and I have the same problem. I find if I activate the phone bt after the car is on, A2DP connects fine. But if I do it the other way around,I only get phone audio. To fix I either have to disable/enable the phone bt or (the faster way) toggle the a2dp option. I'm hoping a de/firmware upgrades fixes the prob.

Its works better when u start the car first and that should not be a problem, shouldn't????
Its the same with every Bluetooth Headset. U can do it with the other way, but u must choose the Audioconnection in the Bluetoothsettings manually.
