Hi,
I recently tried installing spb's Phone Suite. It seemed to work fine until I received a text message, when it threw up an error:
"The file 'mrplay' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. You might need to reinstall or restore this file."
Uninstalling Phone Suite didn't solve the problem. My guess is that there is either a file missing from the install, or the install changed/deleted/moved a file that was there previously. I'm yet to receive any real support from them, so I was wondering if anyone on here knew anything about 'mrplay'. Is it something comes with Windows Mobile 5?
Thanks
Andrew

I just rebooted my pda (htc tytn win mobile 6) and was greeted by this informative message.
Is this of any importance? should i do a backup restore from yesterday and just get it over with? or is it of so little consequence that I can remove the registry key for it or something?
No idea what it is as i can't read German/Dutch. Go into windows>start up>find the file there and delete it.
oh sorry, it's in swedish::
the file cannot be opened. this is either not signed with a trusted certificat or some of it's components cannot be found.
If the problem persists reinstall or recover the file.
The weird is after a reboot it hasn't appeared...
Hi, When I try to send an SMS text message I now get the following error message:
"The file 'Messaging_Client' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of it's components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file"
Does anyone know how (apart from a full reflash) how I can get Text Messaging working again please.
Many thanks.
ookaay... I'm guessing no one can help with this one...?
Looks like a ROM reflash is the only way to sort this.
