Tcpmp Youtube Help

Can you guys help me out? Im haveing a problom, I have owned a Q, a Htc touch, and now i made a switch over to the Mogul.
On all these phone i installed Tcpmp and its flash bundle and got them to work on the first try. But for some reason i cant seem to get it to work on my Mogul. Could somebody please upload the correct files? I might be using the wrong ones. Good lookin out, This forum is Ill as F$%K and you guys get super props
Youtube for the Mogul
Dude, try a google search for the RvBCrS_HTC_Streaming_Media.cab. I have the mogul and tried all of the other options found in the forums to no avail. I finally came across the HTC player and I have had no problems watching videos from youtube mobile. I actually have the cab but got a problem trying to upload here pm me if you want it from me.
Or if you want a better solution, you could just download the program called vtap. It is working great on my Mogul, and its easier to use than TCPMP and Flash plugin (which i used to use). just search vtap on google.
The files you're using are correct, I use the same ones (TCPMP and FlashVideoBundle). What do you mean by not working? Perhaps some specific details would give us more clue on what the problem could be.
when I click on a video it takes me to its comment page. my bundle issent working cause it usually installs a e explorer page with othe compatable sites but that doesent show up.
Here is the ones I have, you can try it out and see how it works, it works great for me but I do have the htc 6800 from alltel not sprint. Just remember to change the file associations in the settings to include mms and http protocol.
Just try to do it all over. Uninstall everything. Install TCMP..then the plugins...then restart ur phone and try it again.
ALOT of people are using the old flash bundle. It wont take much searching but on ppcgeeks there is a newer version. It worked out alot of the kinks and I get flawless youtube and google vid. Make sure you are using the .17 rom as well. The original Sprint rom sucks hudge balls and has tons of problems with video playback.
Here you go. This website updates every time youtube changes its files.
Maybe this will fix you right up.

Thanks

error using FlashVideoBundle

i got the latest version of FlashVideoBundle, and on my TC when i want to play a video on youtube, i got an error message "unable to open the video.m3u" about somes "certificate problem"
i am stuck with that issue ! smdy can help ?
I've never received this error but I use the attached FlashVid bundle. It might help. Also, make sure all parts are saved to the same memory location (internal or SD), mine are all on internal.
i tried this one, but i always got the same error message:
"video.m3u
impossible to open the file 'video'. this file dont got certificate or one of it's component can't be found. if the problem persist...."
(translation from french !)
Sorry it didn't help mate. There's a certificates section in the Settings folder but I wouldn't know what to recommend changing. Hopefully someone can help you.
always in trouble with that ! smdy can help ?
When i have the SFR ROM i have randomly this message, now, i have the official htc rom and i don't have this message. Probably the SFR ROM is not stable.
i dont have the SFR rom. i buy my TC @ pixmania, without any subscription.
bump ! no solution yet ! help !
I have the same problem on my att tilt, with the wm 6.1
I did every combination of TCPMP and FlashVideo...cab, but there was noway to start a video from Youtube :-(
this is how it finally work for me.
1.unistalled everything that has to do for TCPMP and flashvideobundle.
2.Install TCPMP 0.72RC1 in storage card.
3. Install Flashvideobundle 1.4.4 in storage card.
4. Soft reset.
5. Open video Sites and enjoy youtube with the TCPMP player.
i did the same thing. instead i installed all the files on the main memory. videos play but its a bit choppy. its not as clear. what should i be doing????????????????????
i was wrong. i was zooming to 200%. u need to have it at fit best and then view at landscape. plays great. just make sure u check all the file associations in settings except for jpeg
I get frequent time outs when clicking on a video while connected on 3G. However if I am on Wifi it does not time out when clicking on a video. Any ideas on this?

I'm not following here, HSDPA is enabled. Sometimes I have a 3G icon sometimes I have "H". Can you clarify?
Flash
Try Bepe's new rom. It works great and it has the flash working for Yoe Tube with the streaming media player from HTC. No need for any thing else

Youtube App not streaming??

I recently got my first WinMob phone the HTC Pure and I love it so far... I have hard unlocked it which was first time doing that and it went swimmingly! The ROM upgrades have been easy and great as well. I am experiencing 1 issue though... The YouTube app times out / taps out when trying to connect and stream any ideas on how to rectify this issue?
C'mon all these brilliant minds on here and no one can tell me why no flash streaming will work on my phone....
ps its an HTC Pure running... you name it i've tried every ROM on XDA
currently Dutty's Holy Grail R1
Is there some data setting im missing or am i missing a file for this...
Here ya go. You'll need a good registry editor. Resco File Explorer with Reg addon or CeRegEdit will do the trick if you don't already have one.

Thanks for that. I had no trouble getting youtube with 4 bars, but less than that it used to not work. Although considering att's coverage where I live, it almost never worked.
Thank you so much WMguy!!!
Disable proxy in connection settings does the same thing.

iPlayer on HD2.

I can't getr iplayer to work. When i go to the bbc mobile version of iplayer via Opera, I get an error saying my phone is not compatible. Do i need to change anything in the registry or opera:config file to pretend its a nother device?

Change custom user-agent in opera:config to sgh-i900 & save. Exit Opera then go back to BBC iplayer & it should now work.
Actually found out HTC_Touch_HD_T8282 works better
TBOy, tried that but no luck. Do you have to clear out all the other gubbins in there first?
I changed HD2 to Hd and 8585 to 8282 but left the rest alone....
thanks
no clear EVERYTHING and put the above.
sorry to ask what is probably a very basic question but where is opera:config? I'm a bit new to all this so an idiots guide would be much appreciated
I second that, total noob to winmo, haven't a clue either how to do this
i think you type it into the adress bar, same with firefox core settings
The current Opera 9.7 version on the HD2 is not detected by the BBC iplayer website. Here is a modifcation to Opera preferences you can do to get it to work.
Launch Opera and type: opera:config in the url bar. No http:// prefix.
Find the User Prefs at the bottom of the list and then scroll down to Custom User-Agent.
Delete all text in the field and enter only HTC_Touch_HD_T8282 into the box and make sure you press Save (all the way down at the bottom of User Prefs).
Exit Opera and restart it.
Now go to http://bbc.co.uk/mobile/iplayer. Videos are opened in your Streaming App on your phone.
Many thanks, and cheers for being patient with the noobs.
+1 on the patience.
Incidentally, I found editing the line doesn't work; you have to do as stated ie delete ALL of it and then re-enter from scratch.
Thanks Again...
Hi Tboy, thank you for the reply- I think it's working, can't try yet as I don't have a wireless connection, which leads me to another issue...
The iPlayer claims that you can only stream over 3G on the Vodafone and 3 networks (UK), and that I should stream over wifi. I'm actually with Vodafone so does anyone know why I'm getting this message and can't stream over 3G? Is it anything to do with HSDPA being enabled?
Thanks in advance!
I was about to ask this exact same question. Got Iplayer to work great over wifi, so thanks again for the advice, but when trying over Vodafone 3g data connection it is saying I need to be on Vodafone 3G, kinda weird as I am. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as this would be a god send for long night shifts.

+1 It would be nice to get this working
Thanks very much too, I am a total noob to this, and iplayer is great.
Also does anyone know how you can get the rest of the copilot UK/Ireland and Euro maps from the DVD onto my HTC Leo? I have managed to get the UK and Ireland maps from the Disc but am struggling to get the euro ones off.
Thanks in advance

have you installed copilot central onto your PC ?
I'm on 3 UK and it works beautifully!
If you're having trouble with iPlayer you could try using the myplayer application. It works best with CorePlayer installed, but you can stream stuff using the Streaming Media Player and play iPlayer downloads using TCPMP.

Co Pilot Live 8
Hi There, Thanks for getting back to me.
I have put the Copilot Central 2.0 on the laptop and even tried loading each map (trance, BeNeLux etc.) individually via DVD on Laptop through usb to HD2. Not really sure what to try next.

BBC iplayer on t-mobile hd2

Hi
Anyone got this working? I did the registry tweak as per the tweaks thread and I no longer get the 'flash error' and it appears to recognise it is a mobile device, directs it to the mobile iplayer site but then I get an error saying the iplayer has technical issues and is not available.
Anyone using the t-mobile hd2 and have this problem??
Any help or suggestions much appreciated...
Works fine on my stock Vodafone HD2.....

Did you do the opera confug tweak in the thread above? Of not, what have you got in there by default?
Any help appreciated
I did the Opera Config tweak, but learned that you have to completely delete all the text then re-enter just the given text. If you delete some characters and alter the 8585 to 8282 it simply doesn't work.

I had exactly the same error message with my stock T-Mobile. Couldn't solve it. The workaround I came up with involves using MyPlayer and Coreplayer (search for the thread on here), and it works brilliantly - no issues with using T-Mobile data for downloading, streaming, watching live.

Can you stream over 3G/HSDPA on Vodafone?
I am also on Vodafone and although i have the iPlayer working perfectly well over wifi.... when i try and use my data connection the BBC iPlayer tells me that i must be on the Vodafone network in order to stream over 3G!?!?!
I'm on Orange and I tried doing the Opera tweak but bbc.co.uk/mobile/iplayer says it's having a technical problem and I should check back later.

Exactly the same issue as T-Mobile customers, it seems. MyPlayer and Coreplayer the way to go.
I am using mPlayer with StreamingPlayer on Vodafone and haven't had any issues.

bringing up an old topic but if you're still having problems, when you did the registry change did you make sure you used capital letters for the whole thing apart from the word touch which should just have a capital T and the rest in lower case. I had the same issue as you on my o2 hd2 and after changing the word "TOUCH" to "Touch" it worked fine.
