ive looked around at some forums, but i could find pictures taken with the p3600
would someone show me some different kinds.. ( daylight, night, far, close etc.)
thanks
does really no one wants to place a few pics here...
or is that to much to ask
Please search "HTC Trinity review" (with google or other search engine). Most reviews have pictures taken with the camera. Not extraordinary but more on the "ok"ish side

Let me help you with the photo I attach here.
Its full resolution of 2 Mb.
As you can see, poor quality, the pixelation it's important,
the light control is very basic (white it's easily burned) ...
Anyway, its the best PDA-Phone !
If you look for a good camera, take a real Camara (Nikon, Sony, ...)

I agree the camera is definitely not the best feature of this phone. I find pictures to be even worse than those taken with my old Qtek S200, which is strange as I think there's the same camera in both devices.
I find making adjustments using the built-in tools can make very good pictures indeed. It's just a little fiddly to get the correct exposure.
Do a google search for the p3600 review on mobile-review.com. for some reason you cant access the review from the review archive on the site, only by finding it through google... unless they have changed it. Anyhow, there is an english translation of everything on this russian site, so find that and you will see a compreshensive review including multiple photos taken on this phone.

Maybe people with a QVGA device will appreciate them more?
that's strange I myself used these on my diamond and everything works fine.

Indeed QVGA wallpaper of 240x320 can be use on a VGA screen with 480x640 . Just that it stretch the pixel of the QVGA paper on that VGA screen and you could feel the quality of the photo drops .

Thanks Sonkameja. Nice collection. Appreciate the post.
Mattster.
Next week I'm gonna post themes post. maybe 300 if I have extra time.
I made a new skin (I call it Whitestone Skin) for the VGA version of the HTC phone pad application, since all the VGA versions i've seen are not true VGA bitmaps, but simply stretched versions made from QVGA resolution.. This one i've made is alot sharper, since it's made from scratch in VGA resolution. I've tried my best to make it look like the diamond SIP design, but i guess my artistic skills are limited.. =)
I've only completed the portrait bitmaps, and have not done the landscape version. Anyone interested in it? if so i'll probably spend time to do the landscape one...
Dear all
In all the Android builds that I've tried on the HD2, I can't seem to find one that will take 5MP pictures in a format that automatically fills the entire screen on the HD2 when viewing the said image in an album.
I realise that the Android builds come from the likes of the Nexus One (3.7inch screen) or the Desire (again 3.7inch) - and the HD2 screen is 4.3inches, but some of the Android builds come with the option of the EVO camera, and the EVO shares the same massive 4.3 screen as the HD2.
I've noticed however that the 5mp picture outputs from both the stock Froyo camera and the EVO camera app (as well as the Camera360 app from the Adnroid Market) all provide a 5mp output image that does not fill the HD2's screen.
I would be grateful if someone would shed some light on this subject - my searches have proven fruitless as no one else seems to be complaining about this (hence why I think I must be missing something incredibly obvious).
Thanks in advance for any assistance.
(HD2 running NRG GTX Sept 14 and Bangsters 1.3b - but tried a whole load of Android builds prior to this current one! Radio 2.12.50.02)
Maybe it's because the HD2 screen is not 5M pixels and also does not have the same aspect ratio than a 5M pixels pic.... =P

The camera is, the screen isn't.
Thanks for the responses thus far.
So is there any way to get the camera on android to take a pic that fills the entire screen when looking through them in our albums (as it does on the hd2 running stock or cooked WM roms?). I would've thought the ported EVO camera would've done it as it was designed for a screen that's similar to the hd2.
Is there perhaps an app on Market that allows you to tweak the 5mp format to identical dimensions as those pics taken by the WM camera on the HD2?
Being a bit of a stickler for details, I find it annoying to scroll through my albums and see all the WM images filling up the screen perfectly, only to see an image taken whilst using Android (3 or 5mp) with black borders!
the picture's aspect ratio is 4:3, and hd2's screen is 16:9, that's why it won't fill the screen. You could use vignette to crop the picture to 16:9, but that cam app runs pretty slow on hd2.
winmo's camera has a wide screen option which crop the picture automatically.

Thanks for the info re widescreen, macoy - I did notice the widescreen option on the WM camera settings, but I would assume then the the EVO would also have a similar widescreen option as it shares the same screen dimensions?
Thanks also for the vignette app suggestion.
If anyone knows of any further app's on the market which have a widecreen option please do let me know!
I don't see the point of cropping pictures. Surely there must be a gallery app that zooms in automatically to fit screen?

Yes - there must be!
Or a camera app with widescreen options suitable for the HD2's 4.3inch screen (which is similar to the EVO's...)
I created a thread asking the same question a few weeks ago and have yet to see an answer to this. I have long wondered what it is, when I was using Froyostone v1 Clean the Camera had an option for widescreen but when selected it would still not take widescreen pics. Like the OP I am a stickler for the detail and I like the fullscreen view of the Winmo Cam. I only take pics in WinMo until a solution is found for this.

I'm surprised that this doesn't seem to be a big issue for most people - one of the "wow" features of the phone for me when I first got it (and indeed - it still impresses me) is scrolling through my photos at fullscreen, showing off the HD2's display in all its glory!
I can't believe that there's no way to do this on the HD2 running Android? Especially wih EVO and the upcoming Desire HD coming out (both sharing the same 4.3inch screen from what I understand).
I've tried searching as well using, and this, albeit not a big issue, is one of the cool things about viewing the pictures. Let's keep this going, hopefully someone may chime in.
Photos takin in wide screen are actually less than 5M.
Hi guys. I looked everywhere but i can't find wallpapers for this device.
When i find something cool and try to set it it looks horrible.
Can you please link some cool wallpaper and the size of the ideal wallpaper for the G pad?

The screen resolution for the gpad is 1920x1200. Any wallpaper this size will fit perfectly. There are also a lot of apps that let you download and setup wallpapers.

Yeah, trouble is a lot of wallpapers usually found is made with the proportions in reverse. So basically a 1080p wallpaper wouldn't be enough! We lack right around 900 pixels on the long end. You would need to find a site that offers highres, above 1080p images as wallpapers. I'll see if I can find a few when I get home.
On the other hand, if you were to use the tablet mostly in landscape mode, a cut og a 1080p desktop wallpaper would look crisp..
