Manila pros! I seek your help! - SOLVED MOD PLEASE CLOSE! - Touch Diamond, MDA Compact IV Themes and Apps

I've almost successfully altered the manila files I wanted with the exception of the CAMERA and VIDEO ones. Perhaps one of you manila pro's could tell me what I'm doing wrong.
As seen below, in the Messaging Tab, I changed the 'new message' icon(2b45998a_manila) and when it is selected(150b5a39_manila/4b21931a_manila) successfully.
(SELECTED ITEM transitions to a smaller greyscale version of the icon I made)
I wanted to do the same for the CAMERA and VIDEO ones and I thought I had all the manila files covered but a weird thing keeps happening.. a double image happens when I select it? I thought maybe I'm not editing the right manila's but can't seem to find any other occurences of it.

For the CAMERA I edited:

38f05467_manila - DOWN (selected)
For the VIDEO CAMERA I edited:
076e279a_manila - UP (not selected)
2de5febc_manila - DOWN (selected)
I thought maybe my transparancies on my images had been off but that seems to be okay also.
I've done so many edits I can't remember if I've edited any other occurences of the images but I can't seem to find it anywhere else, but it is possible.
Can anyone confirm that there are the only ones to be edited for those icons?
I've attached the manila's I edited as well as the images.
Anyone able to tell me what the dealyo?

From what you describe it seems like the smaller icon is drawn on top of the bigger one, instead of replacing it. Try giving the small icon a non-transparent background

That totally and utterly worked.
You're the best. Thank you!

Bringing the taskbar to the bottom of the screen

Hello Everyone, I hope you all are fine.
I saw a photo of an imate jam (the one I have) who's taskbar was on the bottom of the screen. Here is the photo:

}
May be its just me, but I cannot find any way of bringing it down. I want my phone to look more like real windows and the taskbar on the top doesn't look very good. Also, as you can see in the picture, the address bar of the PIE is also on the top, just like the real IE. Somehow everything in the above phone is setup to look more like real windows. It would be so great if I somebody could suggest a way to do this.
Is this possible? Of course its possible when someone has already done that. But the question is 'how.'
I expected a better response here on XDA-Developers. I posted the same question in another forum but people there didn't seem to be too intelligent. But I'm surprised that even among people who are programmers, I can't see something that could be encouraging.
If you're a programmer reading my post, you could perhaps take a hint about this from Pocket Notepad. When I run this program on WM5 (on HTC Wizard) it does the same effect: Brings the taskbar to the bottom, exactly as I am wanting. It looks very beautiful. But as soon as I close or minimize pocket notepad, everything goes back to its normal position.
actually i wanted to see how to do that too, because to me the bar on the bottom just seems more "normal"...

new ListItem

Hey,
Ive written a Listcontrol with Scroll support. It supports scrolling, activating
and dragging ( wait short when touch the Display, then you can drag ).
This Zip contains two files, grid view and list view.
It would be nice if you can test it, and give me a feedback. For testing it is also a little ApplicationLauncher, which should work for english ROMs.
It requires .net compact 2.0
greets doena
The control itself seems to work fine on my T-Mobile Wing, although the font in the grid is way too small and the grid's scrolling seems smoother than the list's. The list is kind of slow.
Also when clicking on the task (outlook) application in the start menu (both list and grid), it crashes:
at System.Diagnostics.Process.StartWithShellExecuteEx(ProcessStartInfor startInfo). It's part of my recent programs list, so I don't know if that could be the reason?
Do you plan to release the control?
Working ok on my prophet grid icons and text to small list just plain white grid runs better and managed to start screen shot

Hey,
thanks for your answers, its nice to show you're interested.
I have just changed the ListView, so it scroll like the Grid one, and shows Icons.
With the icons and App Launch Exception I have to look, what could be done, but I will find a reason ;-)
Sorry for second Post,
I have now changed the Font size in Grid view,
you ll find it in Atachment

PS: please dont use the minimize button, it doesnt work well

Screen position since flashing 1.48

Since flashing the new 1.48 wwe rom my home screen position is now about 3mm to high, which reveals the lock screen wallpaper underneath.
I`ve posted some pics to show it....
This pic is my lock screen wallpaper.

Which can be seen still showing in the bottom part of my home screen
In the image below you can see the Settings text is to high...
Its as if the manilla screen is to high position.
I have tried a hard reset but it comes back the same.
I can use the same background for both wallpapers but the text is still to high.
Can anybody shed some light on this problem
This also happens with the HTC bundled wallpapers...
Thanks
Have you got e-Natives Showcase installed?

Yes...Have uninstalled it and all is ok now thanks...
Any reason why it does this...
You need to install version 1.0.1b, because the one you had was for newer builds of Windows Mobile and applies the so-called "position fix". These newer builds have different sizez of the top and bottom bars. Alternatively, you can leave the version you have but change the registry to cancel this position fix. See the Showcase thread to learn how to do it.
Many thanks for your time....
sorry wrong post...
Or you can install 1.1.0 and edit the registry to:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\e-Natives Technology\Showcase]
"SUITE_NewTaskbarSize" to 52.
"SUITE_PositionFix_WinClasses" delete the value "Manila;RESCO_EXPLORER_CLASS", so this string will be empty.

Default Black Sense 2.1 Wallpaper NOT located in Root. WHERE IS IT?!

Hi guys, For the past 2 days I've been looking for the default black wallpaper that's used on every single tab in HTC Sense 2.1 UI with no luck. It's just not there.

The only file I found was StartMenu_Background_Screen_480x800 and StartMenu_Background_Screen_800x480 in the \Windows folder - both are transparent, so I check them in Photoshop to see are they slightly whiter near the center (like in the upper screencap) but they weren't.
I'm desperately looking for this wallpaper to use it in a skin for 'Touch X' application (I want it to look like a build-in tab).
PLEASE HELP!
It is two manilla files, one for the top three quarters or so and one for the bottom, I don't know which numbers they are in 2.1 but I have 2.0.
They are:
70083a29_manila
77feee1d_manila

Thanks a lot but I was able to make the wallpaper in Photoshop by editing the screen I posted earlier. I used it in a skin for Smabergs Actionscreen.
To give this threat a closure here's the wallpaper (maybe someone else was looking for it):
You can also find it in the HDWalls program as the "default" background. That's what I used to create a cab and use it on my Tilt 2.

Building Slider Icon SET.... What happen?

ok i tried building a new slider with new icons and that i was doing it right till this is what i came up with:

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
i believe the icons i selected were all png files and 64x64.. i believe one was 48x48.
but honestly does it matter the size of icon since the program converts them to the proper size?
well anyways, can someone please tell me what i am doing wrong and what is needed to fix this problem.

It matters a lot. Sense 2.1 uses 256X256 Hero icons and 128X128 Tray icons. The tray are also offset. The best way is to extract the image from the manila and then remove the image and put your in the exact space. Search manila editor on XDA
Sence 2.5 is different than 2.1.
Also point me to where you got your taskbar
m6 taskbar wm6.5 color 11c Dmonium.cab
so basically i cant use hdwall for making a slider set? i see that my first mistake was setting the icons at 64x64 and using icons that are not 128x128, but if it is possible to use HDWall, what other settings do i need to change to make this possible. (application,layout, etc)
TMobile W6.5 Cell Pro Series 9 Rom (sense 2.1)
If if cannot be done with HDWALL then i will have to go with the steps you stated.
