I use my phone as an alarm to wake up in the morning, but I can't figure out how to change the sound to something else. "alarm" wasn't anywhere in the Sounds > Notifications menu, and "reminders" isn't the same thing. Anyone know?
1. tap the clock in manila home tab then move to the alarm tab, this is the place where you can change settings for alarm. (or you can directly tab the alarm button placed beneath the clock)
or
2. tap start menu > all setting > clock & alarm > alarms > tap the bell icon
Thank you, you're a genius!
Solution found, thread closed
hello. how can i change startmenu's background?
You go into pictures & albums and tap and hold the picture you'd like you use and press "use this as background" or whaever it says. That should do it
cool! thx dude~
Is there a way in which I can keep the screen locked while a BlueTooth ear set is being used in order to keep the active screen from opening other programs and calling others while in my pocket?
I believe if you hit the settings menue at the bottom left corner it says "LOCK SCREEN"
I'm failing to find "lockscreen"
clicking the "menu" button under the settings tab only brings up "all settings"
Is there another way to find lockscreen or did you, by chance, leave out a few steps?
Rudy.
Trying to get "OK Google" to work without saying "OK Google". Found a thread that says Home Button Launcher app would work. However, when I go to the "Configure Apps" screen as described here, I don't have a "Default Apps" menu item:
http://dynamicgandroidapps.svn.cloudforge.com/main/sites/m6/marshmallow.html
From there I'm supposed to be able to go into the "Assist and voice input" option to set Home Button Launcher to do something.
Any ideas? Is this something that the Axon 7 has locked down for some reason?
(new to Android, so apologize for the pretty basic question...)
If you dont want your volume down button to turn on alarms only then follow this below its how to turn it off.
So far the option to disable it is hidden in the N previews. Slide down the quick settings shade and hold down the settings gear icon for a few seconds then let go. You should now unlock a new "System UI Tuner" entry in the settings app, right above "About phone". From there, in the "Do not disturb" section you'll find a "Volume buttons shortcut" toggle. This section does not exist on Marshmellow or older.
