Hi all, i'd like to know if there's anyone else experiencing the same issue i have with my blackstone: i can't surf internet and have weather forecast update through WMDC on vista. Everything was right till yesterday but now i can't manage this problem. Hope someone could give me some good advise to solve this.
My ROM is an italian one from Lucapicci BlackCook 1.2 ITA and my radio is 1.09.25.14.

Need help with my HTC Diamond.
I am in Canada and use FIDO network.
Bought the phone that used to be Rogers and I am using it on Fido.
Rom Version: 1.93.631.8 WWE
ROM DATE:10/30/08
Radio version:1.00.25.06
My Problem:
Every time I want to connect on the internet with IE I receive this message:
"You have roamed out of your home region. Please wait while your data is fetched. The request will be resent automatically in 60 seconds. Click here to resend manually."
But when I synchronize with the pc all the browsers works….
Almost all the other internet programs stopped working.
MSN works , Skype works.
Any thoughts ?

sounds like when you are connected to your pc, your internet is running through your pc. I've never seen that error message before though.

I have the exact same problem
I use a rogers unlocked TD on fido's network
Wifi works perfectly but when it comes to gsm internet (gprs or 3g) it shows this same message: "You have roamed out of your home region. Please wait while your data is fetched. The request will be resent automatically in 60 seconds. Click here to resend manually." but neither waiting 60 sec or clicking helps.
I am using the exat same connection settings that worked perfectly on my artemis
My TD uses the following:
Rom Version: 1.93.631.8 WWE
ROM DATE:10/30/08
Radio version:1.00.25.06
Any idea how to solve this problem without changing my rom?

Haven't seen this specific error before.
Since it works fine on the Artemis, I'd try upgrading your ROM first. Latest official version for Diamond is 2.03.401.3 WWE, with radio version 1.09.25.23. For me this ROM solved quite a lot of connectivity issues, it might solve your problem too.
^Hi guys, have a very strange issue, nobody talk about that.
I was on ARTEMIS 2.5 ROM FRA, i was using my phone all the days, and in the middle of the afternoon I loose the connection to phone network. That mean i have a 3G icon, can go in internet with no problem, but now i can't phone anyone, the HD2 just say me Impossible operation.
This issue is related with some other weird issues, for example when i push Data connection, they always ask me to autoconfigure it with my operator ( SFR France).
So i tried some things :
-First install Artemis 2.9b, Internet Not OK, Phone Not OK.
-Back to Official 1.66 ROM, with Radio 2.06.51.07, Internet Ok, Phone Not OK.
So what could i understand from that issue. Maybe a RilPHONE Issue ? Hardware Issue? Silly french issue ?

Afternoon to you all. Its my first post here so please be gentle.
I used to be on Esato and Im frequently on o2 forum so If i can help in any way i will always try to.
However I do need some help if possible and possible a cab to resolve the issue.
I have got a O2 HD2 rom 1.43.
Its unlocked from o2 and Ive no major issues with the rom at all (all recent updates installed from htc)
However o2 has kindly modified the Connection Setup cab in the settings menu.
When you click on it, you get uk and iom and thats it.
If you pick UK you get o2 only
If you pick IOM, again you get IOM network settings.
Is it possible that some one can extract the propper HTC Setup Cab which i think is 3.1? which has all countries and networks.
At present ive managed to use a version from the HTC Diamond, but this is ver 1.5 and for some reason is very very slow, but does have most of the networks, but not all.
I would be really greatful if some one could help and post it for me.
I know i could use put generic rom on, but im not sure why, but i like my o2 logo (Sad i know )

Update.
When i installed version 1.5 from the diamond my MMS stops working completely. When I have removed it too, It goes back to the orginal 3.1 but again no MMS any more
There is a network connection cab somewhere round here, as i used it for my o2 hd2 to get t-mobile UK settings.
Though i had to search the interent to get the MMS server settings, as it doesn't change that.
i cant find any cab for hd2. i can for diamond. ive got my mms working by removing version 1.5 but was hoping that someone had extracted the hd2 version from the hd2 rom. i tried 2 different versions of 1.5 and it can take on average 20 secs to even geg into the connection settings.

Just saw your post after searching a lot on the internet. I also seem to have a same problem. I have a HTC-HD2 from t-mobile which is unlocked, howevere I'm unabke to change the connection settings as it does not give me an option other than "t-mobile.

My theory is that the radio version on a T-Mobile HD2 could have a different implementation as versus the Universal Euro version of the HD2.
But then again in Android, I have no problem of GPRS, infact it works fine. Maybe the driver implementation is different?
What are your thoughts?
Hi, new here so please bear with me. I've got WP7 Mango running nearly fine (odd seizure and reboot, some slow responses, sd card locked) am happy so far, had same problem as you guys re internet (ok on wifi though). Re-flashed radio with 2.15 rom, then set up the apn - access point name for T-Mobile UK - general.t-mobile.uk and all was well!
If not in UK on T-Mobile then I can only suggest you Google for your provider and apn to try to find out yours - good luck with that.

Hi sorry for taking so long to reply, yes, my HD2 was originally a T-Mobile specific one but having flashed about 4 or 5 WP7 roms it no longer displays any T-mobile stuff. I'm using pdaimatejam rom and it seems pretty stable now. It took about a week of adjusting settings and a lot of battery-out resets to get it here, miles better than Win 6.5 and from what I can see I would prefer WP7 over Iphone and Android. I'd like to hear from others on this.
Does anyone have this solution for this bugs ?
