When i open the HTCAlbum for photos it automatically closes after about a second. I can't get it to stay open and not sure why it is closing. I have installed another photo viewer S2V and tried to change the touch cube to use this for the photos, but when i click on it, it gives an error message on the lines of it is not a trusted application.
Has anyone got any solutions on how to get the HTCAlbum working or for the photo button on the touch cube to run S2V?

Did you found the solution? I have the same problem. It started when I uploaded some pictures on my microSD card. Please help...cause it's closeing by itself after few seconds....

For some reason, I can't use the pic album anymore. When I open it, the sceen is frozen, and no pics comes up.
I have downloaded XnView to use instead - and that is a great program. But it is a bit irritating if I am using the camera, and then want to see the pics I had taken, I can't do it directly from the camera mode.
Somebody have a solution - and know what is wrong?
Thats funny! i have the exact same issues as you.. my oem picture viewer looks like its freezing up.
i started a post on this exact problem, in my case i am running the eten dialer and it is a known issue. i hope someone can lok into this is. it is a real PITA

Well, I am running the Eten dialer too - did not know loosing the pic album was a "sideeffect".
Maybe that is the price to pay :wink:

When I am in photo's and videos, either the album view or main flick up/down view, if I try to open the image so it's fullscreen I get the message:
"Unable to open this type of JPG file"
These are photos taken on the HD, ans they are shown in the thumbnails etc, just won't open when I click on them!
Anyone got a clever solution?!

figured it!
Just uninstalled the dvha adobeflash 3.1 plugin, which I recently installed and all is back to normal!

I understand what it the problem ... The problem is in the memory card !
When I change saving destination to Phone memory , everything is OK ... maybe format will fix the problem !
ok i searched for this thing but i didnt get the thing so i started a new thread.
wat happenned is i was randomly browsing through some files on the Resco explorer in my atom exec. then i went to a picture file options-> open with-> S2V (Slide2View)
then the picture opened in the S2V.
but i want to restore it back to the default picture viewer that is marked by the name-
''Pictures & Videos''
everytime i opened a pic it used to show the thing marked above as title. but i accedentally ticked the box which said ''open files like this always from this application''
then i realised that S2V was consuming a lot of Ram so i wanted to go back to the original pic viewer. wen i pressed open with i couldnt find the option of ''Pictures & Videos''
please help me. how to restore to default pictre viewer ?

I've tried to install HTC album on my phone with many, different cab files, but none of them worked.
When I click on it's icon, waits a little, then it closes before anything is appear on the screen... so just like if I didn't click on it's icon.
I would like to install it because an other HTC camera program needs it and I would like to install that application to get better images on photo camera, because the original program's white-balance and brightness control is really poor.
What would I have to try?
Does it need any system component I missed?
I've tried to use Dependency Walker, but I've found only files that I still have in my phone ROM.
I really don't know how to determine what the program's problem is.
Please help me how to do this.

I have a problem with my omnia II photo album. every time I open a picture in photo album, after closing it i cant open any other picture. I click on thumbnails and nothing happen
only way to fix it is softreset. but again, it works only one time
before doing a hardreset to see what happens, I just want to ask you about this. does anyone has this issue? any fix?
p.s: my rom is official 6.5
