I been playing around with SPBshell colortheme change (blue,red,yellow..)
now i cant get it back to black
When i choose black it just become gray and if i choose "no theme" instead of "black" it wont save
i even tried uninstalling SPB and rebooting but the tray still stay grey not black
Here is how it look like now:

I want the tray to look black again like this
is the tray on top where the windows startmenu is and the buttom
i cant simple get it black again
is some transparency function turned on somewhere?
Xda-rc and Sktools didnt fix it
i changed Sktools colors to "1" but it didnt work
is still gray not black
i realy need some help with this
I have my phoen for only 2 weeks now, but it seems i dugg it very deep
So got into Settings / Personal on the TODAY option, choose HTC black.
it looks like you changed the theme of the device.
Well this is ok, unless you did not put some other ROM, on it.
(if you have not changed the default instalation, it seems you have, but try out what i explained above)

You will be able to choose between flat black bar vs. others.
you can have bars of any color. The problem I noticed with the black tsk is that the older programs use the softkey space for their layout. for example (pocket alarm) which was not made for wm6 has context and sip instead of softkeys. they get blocked out by the black bars and you can not see the text or buttons.
With ThemeGenCE you can make a similar tsk, and can also fix that old one to show the old style softkey bar.

Maybe I misunderstood, but you did say for wm standard? All those ppc versions won't work for standard devices. Here's a cab to install a blacksoftkeys.scheme.xml into your settings folder. It will look like screenshot below.

How do you mean that?
Maybe you should uninstal the soft to get the original resolution?
i was maked a clear restore... and nothing..
Now i have a 1mm on right in black and 0.6mm on down black... like if the screen did reduced.

Could you post a picture or a screenshot?
Also tell us what settings you have changed/what 3rd party apps you have installed.
This was happened when i maked a soft reset after configurate with ; Advanced Config Tool 3.3 ... i make a mistake.. when the soft reset was started i was pressed the down volume button (because i liked to put in vibrator)... in that momment a screen appear with 3 panels with colors... and it needed to make a soft reset with the botton next of sim card.
I didnt remember exactly what i changed on advanced... but i put all on default and it still like this. I was changed the text sizes.. umm. anything like " RESOLUTION OF SCREEN".

This looks normal to me, my HD has the same border. Can't say I noticed it until you pointed it out.
Recently I updated to WM 6.1, so I have to reconfigure my device. Now I can't remember where I can turn off the menu with the big icons depicted at the bottom of my post. I find it really annoying to have an extra window pop up, since most of the time I click the right icon and don't need bigger ones.
I've already gone through all of the settings, but can't find the option to turn it off, though I know it's possible to! Any help is appreciated, I'm sure someone knows.

If you have large start menu enabled then this is also part of it. I don't know if you can turn it off individually.
It can be disabled by deleting few keys in registry.
1)HKLM/Software/HTC/EnlargeTitleBar (Or something like that)
2)HKLM/Services/Largetitlebat (Or something like that)
Since flashing the new 1.48 wwe rom my home screen position is now about 3mm to high, which reveals the lock screen wallpaper underneath.
I`ve posted some pics to show it....

Which can be seen still showing in the bottom part of my home screen
In the image below you can see the Settings text is to high...
Its as if the manilla screen is to high position.
I have tried a hard reset but it comes back the same.
I can use the same background for both wallpapers but the text is still to high.
Can anybody shed some light on this problem
This also happens with the HTC bundled wallpapers...

Any reason why it does this...
You need to install version 1.0.1b, because the one you had was for newer builds of Windows Mobile and applies the so-called "position fix". These newer builds have different sizez of the top and bottom bars. Alternatively, you can leave the version you have but change the registry to cancel this position fix. See the Showcase thread to learn how to do it.

Or you can install 1.1.0 and edit the registry to:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\e-Natives Technology\Showcase]
"SUITE_NewTaskbarSize" to 52.
"SUITE_PositionFix_WinClasses" delete the value "Manila;RESCO_EXPLORER_CLASS", so this string will be empty.

Does anyone know how to get color icons? I have been experimenting with my new TP2 and some combination of installs gave me color icons, but I had to do a hard reset and now I can't get them back.
Anyone?
Edit: And I don't mean the 18 button app found here
I think that I had Smaberg's installed, then some other app overwrote his icons with colored ones.
This is different from what I had (the one that I had was identical to Smaberg's but in color), but it will do:

Maybe you could post a link to the 12 buttons app you want with the actions/apps you want?
You could edit only 1 background file & use the customs icons you want like I did here: Tweak: Custom Action Screen Icons in Color. Follow the link in that post for an other version as well as how to change the buttons programs/toggle actions.
