Hi all.
Since a few days on my calendar screen ( on the TF3D screen )
I cant see the month and days , well I can see them but they are all called
IDS_CALENDAR_DECEMBER ( for example )
and seeing alot of ' I... '
any one know how to solve this back to just normal month and day names?
I also have that problem. And the Configuration Tab disappeared
So no one has found a solution to this so far?

Sounds like the Appointments database is corrupt, perhaps something like SKTools can save you from a hard reset?

How do you mean? What kind of option does sktools have to solve this ?
turn off TF3D via start, settings, home, elements (sorry mine is in german, remove the tich from touchflo3d.
now over start go into the standard calenda and check that it displays ok and that you have dates.
Then restart the tochflo.
If you are getting this it sounds like something got screwed, were you playing with the manila files for some theams or display changes ?
Did you use some customerizing software to change them whihc was built for the 2d version and maybe messed then up ??
It looks like its got the veribale but cant find the match for it.
You must have been doing something, gives us a hint
Well via the normal agenda , it displays the dates correctly.
Only not on TF3D . And I have done anything with it
I just noticed it , and it was normal so thats the strangest part
And I havent edit the calendar manile file only caller history which is al reader back to normal :S
Sounds like you have hit hard reset time ¢or upgrade to the 1.19 rom.)
SKtools has a database maintenance section, but if your cal is OK then it's probably indeed only the TF3D component which is screwed up. Trying the 1.19 upgrade does seem like an interesting option but does that retain personal data?
And is the 1.19 rom availble in dutch ?

Also what do I loose when I do a hard reset?
All stuff that i've installed of course
But will I also loose stuff on the SD card and SIM Contacts?

Is there any neat simple software that will cheack how many minutes outgoing calls I have made and how many sms I have sent from a specific date ie my billing date ?

phone dashboard problem with VGA
I tried phone dashboard on my QTEK9000 [same with universal/imate] and all seemed ok with tracking calls, but unfortunatelly the menu of program seems terible [fonts were too big] . Is it a problem with the VGA?

Ok, running it for one day
- After battery exchange (i have 2 of them), the password (simple PIN) i couldnt enter the device. The correct code just wasnt working. Made hard reset + cleaned up registry and storage and it was ok.
- Sometimes the radio just dont wake up. Maybe it is just problem with my BA as sometimes after the battery was taken out and colored stripes appear the radio and *next* version number are showing none (anyone knows why this happens?)
MioMap works perfectly, pairing the device with holux bluetooth gps works great.
anybody know to fix the error of window media player in this ROM?
It's very important for me?I can use other media's soft but....please help me!

I do not recall the exact reason this happens, but it is a known issue that happens after the battery is removed/replaced. The only workaround is to soft reset the device after this appears.

Hi,
I have a problem with the Flightmodus. After turned off Phone in Commanager, the phone is off for about 10min. Then the phone turns automaticly on. The same when I do a softreset. Has anyone a solution?

Ok... another problem... sometimes (cant figure out what triggers that) my phone is not "online" on gsm network.
Everyhing looks like it is working ok, but it cant be called from outside and when i try to call out, it immidiatly disconnects. Then i have to reset it, after that it becomes accessible again (and i can make calls too...).
Highly annoying, i hoped WM6 will fix this but the same **** happens...

Yes. WM2005 helmi and WM2006 helmi. It just happend. And i am not using additional software for now, well... miomap, but it is not loaded in mem. It looks to me like radio hangs.
Hey, I have a problem with my incoming text message notification as well as the reminder notification.
No matter how many times i tap the 'Display message on screen' option it unchecks itself after a cerrtain time. same issue for the reminders.
Anyone else 'suffers' from the same symptoms ?
yes, i have the same problem, i guess its with the Dutty 2.1 extreme rom, also, i have strange problem where sometimes, the ringtone changes to some other then the one that we have set. and sometimes it doesnt ring as well.

Haven't experienced the ringtone changing, but the problem with the ringtone sometimes not ringing is a well documented bug with no fix as yet. Strangely it appears to happen mostly with Duttys 2.1 inc MSVC and not Dutts V2.1 WITHOUT MSVC. If you read the thread on Duttys V2.1 you will see this.
V2.2 is due for release soon and hopefully this bug will be fixed.

Great , Thanks, wow, 2.2 is due, man, i need to do something as i want new roms but cannot afford installing all softwares and doing settings. any way around for it, as i usually install some usefull software, backup sms and restore and its a 4-5 hours process. any method you know using which i can just dump all my settings on the new rom . contacts emails are quick as i use exchange 2007, so they are synced pretty fast.
but what about settings like Advance Config, and Xt9 words , and IE and Opera Favourites etc. please help me for this.

There are different ways of doing this. You can use PIM, SPB Backup or Sprite
In future instead of working hard to reinstall everything, why not just use a backup program like SPB Backup 2 or Sprite.
SPB Backup & Sprite are basically the same. You can use either of these to backup all your settings, including programs, ringtones, contacts etc, then if any problems materialise or you hard reset you use the backup file created to restore to your previous settings.
I have been advised by noris08 that when flashing to a new ROM each of them may have some issues and when you restore the apps, some of them will not work and some will generate some new conflicts
This issue has been explained before but either in this forum or somewhere else.
Another option is to backup personal things with PIM and to reinstall all apps from scratch

You can also check out SASHIMI. After the initial input, it's amazing how easy it is. I just came accross it and I'm still trying it out, but it seems to do the trick atm.

i install my programmes to the storage card, then use total commander after a rom install to create short cut links to programme folder, (although only installed one rom so far, and happy with it, so dunno if this would casue problems with other roms?)
i was worried about re-installing all progs, but took couple mins to create the shortcuts, much happier

I've added some values in the Stocks tab:
For "Pound Sterling -> Euro" I added the ticker "GBPEUR=X"
For "Dollar -> Euro" I added the ticker "USDEUR=X"
For "Gold -> Euro" I added the ticker "XAUEUR=X"
For "IBEX35" I added the ticker "IBEX.MC"
The thing is that it refresehed the actual value when required, but not the relative/absolute variation, hence I always have the new values bit the green values are always 0.00 and 0.00%. Funny to see though, that the history Graph is properly updated.
Is there any way to solve that?
Can any from you test if it happens the same?
My ROM is HTC's Official 1.48

I am on 1.66 VF UK, also have this problem with currencies GBPAUD and GBPNZD
on 1.43 rom the absolute value change for these currencies worked ok

I've just tried it and it does the same on mine.
It also does the same for usdgbp=x too.
It does however, work with eurusd=x.
Strange, just checked it on yaho finance, and it seems to work.
gbpusd=x and gbpeur=x both work on my HD2 though.
so that's mean not alone

I have had same situation for two days. I tried restore my Leo and found where I have my information about stocks. It worked, uploaded the stocks. But when I deleted one of them and tried add agian that didn't work. Do you know where stocks aplication write data (I mean which manila files use this application)?

I foundt it in "\ApplicationData\HTC\Ygo\". There is file ygoservice.db.

I've just done a hard reset, and while GBPEUR=X and GBPUSD=X worked before the hard reset, now that I've had to re-enter it, it doesn't work any more. I guess something's changed at the Yahoo Finance side of things with the search function.
Anyone got a work-around?

I have had this issue. I found that if you ad the stocks first then change page after about 1 minute or so the fx rates will work.
also has anybody found a way to back up this Data so you do not have to re input after a new flash or hard reset
I think this must have been a temporary glitch at the Yahoo Finance end that has now been fixed.

My treo pro sometimes is changing time itself. Do anyone know how to fix this problem? To set the right time i have to restart the phone or switch off and on the radio. If the only solution of this problem is new ROM, I would be thankful for sending links to some Polish ROM without this bug.
WTF displayed clock.
Mine does this too.
The displayed time seems to really jump! Today, my clock displayed 05:00 at 12:15. It was fine at 09:15.
The "internal" (i.e. not displayed) clock seems fine. As soon as a reminder for a meeting popped-up, the displayed time was back to normal.
I seem to have spoken too quickly.
I have now missed several alarms because the clock is in the past!
What a piece of Palm crap!

Me thinks d devs on here will be needing more info lyk wat ROM u r currently running etc.....i don't think a Polish ROM is available @ d moment and so u might have 2 send some files to ROM builders like Mord4z or Trickbiker 2 work with.

hmmm, i neva had such problems with d original ROM and d current build 21903 i'm running, so which r u running?...I like setting my time @least 10mins 4ward and it stays so until i sync 2 my pc then it reverts to d correct time,i'd like 2 have such a function disabled...any help with dat?
i dont know much about international roms, but i know that there is a feature in the clock menu to sync with the cell towers. also set your activesync to update time on sync. i am sorry i have no more info. good luck

for activesync it is in the options when you set it up.... i believe it is something like update time upon synchronization, cant remember from memory..

Running 6.1 Build 19216.1.0.5. This is how it came out of the box. I haven't even installed any applications. I mainly use it for Outlook mobile and as a phone. I occasionally send SMS messages.

I see, Well i recommend u flash a WinMo 6.5 ROM unto ur device..Your Outlook functions and sms sending will still function perfectly.
