I decided to open up this thread in order for us, Diamond and other HTC libgles_cm compatibles owners, to compare and test the performance of the OpenGL|ES subsystem (with or without FPU).

as you see results are comparable, but it's always better to run the bench in AC power. btw i have stock ROM 1.93 ^^
Warnings:
- better disable TF3D, or you'll have to reboot after the test finishes.
- this 99% positively works on the Polaris and TyTn2 with the modded libgles_cm.dll

Hmm. On my blackstone i get very disappointing results. I believe my total was 874... And the program let the device hang.
Well to begin with, the HD has much more pixels to render! This alone obviously makes for "lower" performance, so you should promote Blackstone benchmarks so you guys can compare between yourselves
Secondly the Blackstone hasn't had (yet!) a 2.0 revision ROM, so from now on we can only see improvings, right?
I dont know how you get that much.. I can't get more than 897 total..
Could it be my ROM ? It's a french cooked ROM by 'Pyrana'.

That's because you should turn TF3D off before doing it, then it will not hang.
I get the same results as yours.

19839 is not official/leaked version - and maybe a fake build, and 19581 is the HTC diamond rom.
Please udK, give us a ITA version of this one. Look at bepe's ROM: 5 languages x 5 versions and he is full of donations

Fantastic news udK, thanks a mil!!! Your Vega rom is very fast and stable and it would be perfect if it wouldn't lack a few options that allows a user to customize the OS a bit more (like pdaviet's roms). If u can please include in this release the speed and stability of the Vega with some good customisation options, would be awesome!
Also, if u can please ensure compatibility with Garmin Mobile XT 4.20.50 (this latest version is running on all built in htc gps enabled chips but has incompatibilities with some cooked roms) I'm running GM XT on a WM6.1 19900 build and I'm very happy with it, especially because now I can load TOPO maps on. I must say garmin is way better than tomtom on road and way out of tomtom's league off-road.
PS:I know many ppl have probs with Radio v1.64.08.21 and had to load murata which sometimes didn't fix the probs, so I've got 2 questions:
1. What radio would u recommend for the Diamond rom?
2. What major advantages a radio upgrade would bring anyway thats worth risking the upgrade & the possible problems? (I'm running on 1.70 OliNex)

I like the interface with square buttons - and the ROM
basically is ok in speed - BUT -
Seems there are certain fundamental flaws in this ROM
Album not working - when click on pics screen goes blank
Touch function freezes in Home configuration screen
have to use the stylus by FIRMLY tapping the screen

First I apologize for my bad english. I want to share with you two versions rom from PDAVIET.NET very good support for android :
* UntraLight (Remove Manila and most applications) and FullVersion
* Rom run smoother, faster
* Good call quality (No Noise, no echo ).
* Integrated dual boot
* You must use the Radio version 2:10 or higher because the two versions of this ROM supports 576 ram
* Of course to run android on hd2 then you have to have Android on the memory card. You can use froyo or desire are working well.

I also used some roms running android but are less satisfied. I am pleased with my rom so I wanted to share with you . To make good calls, many factors need. Furthermore, the Android version is necessarily incomplete

Edit: for my personal opinion, there is nothing much difference between so-call Ultra light ROM with stock or Full feature ROM since you may switch off Sense and at this moment 50MB ROM vs 200MB make no sense for download as well as Flash time.
