(not to be confused with GLBenchmark)
I decided to open up this thread in order for us, Diamond and other HTC libgles_cm compatibles owners, to compare and test the performance of the OpenGL|ES subsystem (with or without FPU).

Battery mode,GSM and TF3D on:
as you see results are comparable, but it's always better to run the bench in AC power. btw i have stock ROM 1.93 ^^
Warnings:
- better disable TF3D, or you'll have to reboot after the test finishes.
- this 99% positively works on the Polaris and TyTn2 with the modded libgles_cm.dll

Hmm. On my blackstone i get very disappointing results. I believe my total was 874... And the program let the device hang.

Well to begin with, the HD has much more pixels to render! This alone obviously makes for "lower" performance, so you should promote Blackstone benchmarks so you guys can compare between yourselves
Secondly the Blackstone hasn't had (yet!) a 2.0 revision ROM, so from now on we can only see improvings, right?

I dont know how you get that much.. I can't get more than 897 total..
Could it be my ROM ? It's a french cooked ROM by 'Pyrana'.
EDIT: I've got a blackstone.

That's because you should turn TF3D off before doing it, then it will not hang.
I get the same results as yours.

i dont think is the new asian rom

did anyone try this rom?it doesent say anything nada what rom version is made from 1.48...1.61...or 1.66 and is only 1 file there i dont know if it can be installed ok by using hspl and i never seen karmba_a talk,oh well

It's smooth and fast: The one problem I have is the FM radio. It won't stop scanning. I select a station and away it goes. Never happened before. I always clear storage and have soft reset several times, but the problem persists.
By the way, the black and silver motif is very appealing.
Edit: I confirmed two other ROM,s - 1.66 stock and a cooked don't have the FM radio problem. I did not come back to Karmba_a to check again. Can someone else post their FM radio results, please?

i did not try fm radio yet but this is it.. i'll use my hd2 with this rom.. i love it..

i tried now and there is no any problem with fm radio.. this rom is realy stable

pls delete \Application Data\HTC\ProgLauncher folder, install the dinik's cab from wm655 thread n soft reset. pls let me know if it still not working n i will check again when i get back home.

Just one comment: I had some issues with the lockscreen conflicting with manila (i.e. Manila overriding the lockscreen so that manila is visible and active but that the lockscreen is still on and blocking everything else). I remember similar behaviour on my Raphael with certain builds of 6.5.
I didn't have this problem with your 6.5.5 ROMs. But I did just also install CoOkie's home tab. Does this conflict with your lockscreen customization? or is it ROM build related?

1) First, connect your viva using active sync connection and then flash SPL 2.00.com.
2) Then again connecting ur phone in active sync mode run OpalCustomRUU.exe with ruu_signed.nbh in the same folder.
3) Follow the instructions to flash with new firmware.
4) Once flashing is done, hard reset ur phone

Anything about the battery buddy ?

The battery consumption is the same as D20 and others. The rom drain the battery in one day with a normal/intensive usage....

what about ram usage in this rom ??

flashed your rom and it is working so far
it is stable and very fast, it is faster than wm6.5.5 and touch sensitivity seems better, but maybe it just seems to be better
but anyway thanks for this rom because i like the old wm6.1

yes,the radio version is 5005.1600.05
i don't know whether fixed or not..
this rom using official 6.5 drivers,i think it's same as UK 6.5
