some how, yesterday when i restarted my BA suddenly in my sms inbox appears '1 unread msgs', i've searched it in my inbox but all of them are already read sms, i've also tried to delete all the message but still the notification still there.... anyone in this forum can help me? thx b4
i have never encountered this error personally but i think i have seen similar posts as your over the board, search about sms notification bug or something like this, i am sure that there was a cure for it
Hi, I've been unable to turn up any help on this matter with searches but I wonder if anyone knows a solution.
I received a text this morning and I saw it appear in the notification bar, I also saw who it was from but didn't get to read it before the notification disappeared. I went to my messages and the text is nowhere to be seen in either Handcent or Messaging.
Now when I receive ONE new message my notifications say I have TWO unread and the Handcent widget also shows a 2 but still the mystery message cannot be seen.
I've of course rebooted and also tried this app which simply didn't work but if someone has made an app surely this must be a known bug?!
I could delete the message thread I know but I'd like to read the message first and also simply get to the bottom of this strange error, any ideas?

So far the only way I've found to get rid of the invisible unread SMS is to delete every SMS thread. However, if I then restore them from MyBackup for example it comes back.
I'd really like to know how to properly fix this.

I have an issue with the email notification icon on my HD2 and I don´t know how to solve this issue!
Evertime I receive a new email the notification icon pops up and after some seconds it disappears again although I did not open the mail! (In the sense mail tab I can see the counter with 1).
This does not happen with SMS...
I have the official stock rom with default taskbar!
can someone help ? can i change something in the reg ?

Can someone tell me how to disable the fact that delivery notification msg appears as new sms (led blinking and count increased by 1)
I would like to have the delivery notification as usual but not presented as a new sms and no led blinking.
Anyone can help ? thx

search, read, learn.
if not mistaken, go to message tab, all messages/inbox, menu, settings, options, then untick "request delivery notification". I think there's no way delivery notification doesnt appear as a new SMS. Maybe there's an alternative to make it appear as a pop up, dunno.

I did search on the forim and google, i found some reg tweak not doing what i want, i tried some software but it was the same result.
i dont want to disable the sms delivery notification, it doesnt bother me to have them in the inbox, i just dont it to increase the number of new sms nor appear as new sms (and stop led blinking for delivery sms)
With my stock rom it was working like that, but i needed to upgrade...
all i dont want is it to be considered as new sms and the led from blinking.

search more. I'm sure I've seen a cab for that, really. The notification will only appear on the very top bar, tap on it, it gives you the type of connection, the battery, and on the third row the notification I think, and no new sms. enhanced notification maybe?

which stock ROM, exactly?
so with no new sms, I suppose the delivery notification should only appear on the top bar as a box icon that you must tap on?
My previous stock rom: 1.43 (was that since the day I did buy Leo)
My current rom is: Leo_HTC_FRA_1.66.406.1_Radio_Signed_15.30.50.07U_2.06.51.07
I tried Juggalo_x's enhanced notifications and clouding cab, but its not working: I sill get the blinking led and "1 new msg icon when I receive the delivery report"

i want to know if anyone has the same problem that i have. I'm using my N1 with my corporate email with Zimbra 6.0. When I mark a message read, the notification bar still present unreal message and I need to pull down the bar and clear the notification to stop trackball blink.
With 3rd party apps this doesn't happen.. RoadSync and TouchDown, when I mark message read on my PC, clear automatically the notification from the bar (and the trackball stop blink!).
Anyone has the same problem? Maybe the AS integration of Zimbra is a bit different from Microsoft Native AS and case this little problem.

I've been pointing out this issue on a couple boards for months. Good luck with a stock solution.
