Sling has now released a new build with official support for the X1. It's available on their site.
It doesn't do full screen playback but does seem to fix the problem with the remote buttons not displaying correctly.
Great news, let me try on my Touch HD!

Carty..

Hi Guys,
Can someone tell me which software allows full screen playback like on my old XDA2s, as they XDA Exec seems small.........
Thx in advance........
Try beta player maybe that will help you do a search for it
Try TCPMP I have not used it yet, still not got my jj yet, but one of the threads "Getting your jj to run better" mentions it as a great replacement for MP. It's free, it supports more formats and plays full screen.
http://tcpmp.corecodec.org/about
Regards, Simon
I agree with Gooroo,
I have TCPMP installed in my device, it's a fantastic software, far far better than WMP and supports all formats.
It's also 100% compatible with WM5.
Give it a try.
Ill third that! TCPMP is an excellent video player software. Havent found a vid it cant play back yet
Thx guys ill give it a go
I've heard that there's a new version of core player. it's 1.04
anyone tried or got info if it's tytn friendly now?
br
ok... never mind. I came back home and check coreplayer forums - many improvements, but still NO support for ATI chipset in tytn... crap.
You can lock or trash this pointless topic now mods... cheers
And what about Pause/Play issue?
Does this version fix freezes after Pause?
Coreplayer 1.1 is supposed to have the Tytn support...
Can anyone confirm this?
Later, Lew
On my spvm3100, once you open it and close...than I can't restart it but if I make a Soft Reset...did someone have the same problem?

i dont have this problem.
do you have any trouble watching movies?
It isn't still supported yet and don't know in wich version it will supported.
They asked ATI info about the chip and guess they haven't get enough info from them to resolve it.
If they ever will resolve the problem!
I use coreplayer with raw frame buffer settings and then it work for 50%.
Also i'm still waiting for a full working coreplayer.
I'm using version 1.04 with RAW FrameBuffer, and on newest WM5 (south africa ROM) it works good. No scattered music when you pause and play again. Seems to work good, but still no Imageon support
on my hermes it s work when i use spb DVD to convert my avi files or dvd...
but always when video is not on "ati" but rawbuffer
I am using Dopod U1000 and the coreplayer 1.04 is worst
on ATI Chips. Wind EFFECT on the screen and only 50% speed on 640x480 DivX movide
See this thread. Coreplayer works perfectly on ATI imageon now for me (using WMXL v0.20.1)
Hi,
I am from Sweden and have tried to see any streaming TV on my Universal. They only offer RTSP/3GP format in my country. So far I have not find any software player that can do that. Coreplayer mobile say that in next version 1.2 it will maby work? They same say Pocket Player that maby in future...
Last month I have tried to solve this in another way with streaming from my own TV-card through Orb. It works OK.
BUT, the actual picture size on my screen is too small to be able to watch text and so on. WMP can show fullscreen but the picture are not scaling up to full size, so it is large black borders around picture. The same with Pocket Player and with CorePlayer I have not been able to see .asx files.
I have WM5 installed and will probably not install version 6.
Is there anybody out there that have solved this?
Otherwise it is a nice device. Universal support both in Sweden and manufacturer support have not been able to help!
Thanks in advance
John
Try looking up sling box. You should be able to use slingplayer mobile
With all the versions of HAVA Monsoon mobile player I tryed to install, I did not suceed.
Becuase the screen resulotion of the HD is 480x800 i cannot see all the options so I cannot load my HAVA device settings.

WinMobile 6 (640x480 Non Touch Screen/Smartphone)
This might help... try downloading the non touch screen/ smartphone version (640x480) Hava Mobile Player.
Sony Ericsson Xperia X1
WinMobile 6 (640x480 Non Touch Screen/Smartphone)
This might help... try downloading the non touch screen/ smartphone version (640x480) Hava Mobile Player. You can't set it up using the widescreen however.

This started working for Touch HD. Audio quality is bad and buttons are little small, but u can leave with it.
Perhaps this will help.
I installed Zoomer
I installed the Hava Non-touch screen version even though I have a HTC-HD2.
I then Linked Hava.exe inside the zoomer program.
Rebooted the phone.
Opened Havaplayer.
Used zoomer to zoom on the buttons.
Changed the settings to go to my hava player.
You can use zoomer to operate the remote control and then zoom back out to watch tv.
Has anyone got this to work by going over the edge or 3g network.
I can only play from a wifi connection.
Thanks
John
Hi all, got an email 40 minutes ago from Seeqpod, that app that's supposed to find music on the fly p2p style. Anyway, here's the linkage to a free copy for two days:
It's here!
SeeqPod Mobile is now available for download!
And from now through Sunday, December 21, 2008, it's free! That's right, free! Consider it our season's gift to our friends. Let your Windows Mobile friends know as well!
You can get SeeqPod Mobile installed onto your phone in two ways. Both begin by going to http://www.seeqpod.com/mobile and clicking on the "get it free!" button:
* Internet enabled Pocket PC or Smartphone running Windows Mobile 6.0 or greater
* Broadband internet connection for best performance
* Compatible with the following display sizes: QVGA (320 x 240), WQVGA (240 x 400), Square QVGA (320 x 320), VGA (640 x 480) (Yes, that's right! VGA!!! That means you, HTC Touch Pro and Sony Ericsson Xperia owners!)
Found this on PPCGeeks first, I was about to post it here, but it looks like you beat me to it. The thing is I interpret their registration offer in a different way... I think they're letting you get it 100% free if you get it before 12/21, like Nintendo did for the Wii with the Internet Channel...
For those wondering the App is GREAT... put in any song you're thinking of and it pops up playlists and the song itself for you to play...
I posted it on digg as well: http://digg.com/software/SeeqPod_Mobile_for_Windows_Mobile_free_until_Dec_21
Let's bring some attention to this thing before people have to pay $10 to get it!
Great clean look to the program and website. Music is fast and plays clean.. Great find.
Can you download the music? I know on ipod touch when i used this, with a safari plugin I could download the music as well. Great find either way, downloading now.
Music playback sounded very choppy. Also it works on WQVGA (Omnia) but is not designed for it. The player fills up 300x240 of the screen, leaving a piece with nothing in it but the desktop.

Music playback on fuze is great, no choppiness at all over 3g connection, evening switching songs in playlist only takes a couple seconds. Now just need to figure out how to directly download the songs
Thanks for the info!
Even skinnable..................

Same here, It worked nice and smooth on my Mogul (Titan) w/ EvDO rev A, no lag, very little load time...
I suggest changing the title of this thread, I'd like to see as many people as possible get this before the deadline.
I agree 100%, we need to get the word out while people can still get it free
I tried installing it on WM5, it installs but it doesn't run. FYI.
Doesn't work on my WM5 Wizard either.
Tested on Wizard, WM6.1 working
woo hoo. working but it doesnt work on wqvga
Doesn't work on Touch HD
works perfectly on my kaiser with latest hyperdragon rom.
very nice. for the previous question, i don't think you can download to your phone, but the link where it's getting the song from is listed.
It doesn't have a volume control so it's not very useful unless you want to carry around a pair of 300 ohm studio headphones.
It works on my Tocuh HD with VGAFIX3
Change the resolution => VGA
