Hi All,
I'm currently using the HTC Audio Manager with my Sony HBH-DS980 bluetooth headset and for the most part everything works well; and unlike some I've had no problems playing music in Standby mode. The problem I have is keeping it in Standby mode.
I noticed the other day that if I try to skip to the next tune or in fact do anything with the headset my HD wakes up and does not turn itself back off, it dims but that's it. This obviously has a drastic effect on the battery life.
Has anyone else experienced this and more to the point does anyone know how to fix it?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Mav.
Can anyone help please?
Bump!
I'd really like an answer... Anybody?
Same problem here, it's driving me crazy. This phone is just ****ing piece of ****.

hey
do you this problem? when the sound is all the way down, each time you shouldn't hear a sound, you hear a little "tick" (like when you press the "START"..)
what can i do?
I have the similiar problem as well. Please update to the new ROM in www.seeo2.com and this problem should be solved
Upgrading to new ROM will not solve this problem. The only way I found to dispose of those ticks is to turn off Equalizer. Hope this will help.
thanks!
although i am using the equalizer, i prefer to turn it off...
Hi,
I´ve been having this problem for about 2 days. While mp3 playback, device wont go to sleep when I press power button. I have to pause/stop playback to do so. I dont know why. I havent installed anything before this. I´m using standard player provided by HTC.
This may not sound like a serious problem, but it kills battery real fast while its on. Is anyone having the same problem? Thanks for any answer.
is this without the headphones?
try this its a great lil programe allows soft reset also has a secondary feature called display switch, witch basically turns the screen off but not the phone. i always have this installed on every device ive ever owned.
Ditto - same issue. Its a bug.
The problem occurs when the device is in headset mode - see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=482027
No solution available AFAIK. Report it to HTC and the more of us that do it might get a hot fix! Cheers
Hi all,
I'm trying to resolve my issue for a long time without any success...
I have Parrot MKi9000 blue-tooth hands-free in my car which I'm using a lot. Usually it works but sometimes I'm not able to hear the opposite and also they can't hear me. It always happen when the current call is ended and I start a new one immediately. The only way how to fix this is to reboot.
Does anyone else have the same issue? Could anyone help me out of this? This issue is driving me crazy...
I'm currently on 4.4 Google Play ROM but it happens also on stock ROM and on other/older ROMs too.
Appreciate any help!

Hi,
Just having a couple of issues that I hope someone can help.
I dont use bluetooth to make calls when driving (basicallly my car BT quality sucks).
I use a standard set of mic/earbuds.
On my last phone (Galaxy S5) when I made a phone call using headset the screen would not go to sleep but it does on the 6P.
Has anyone else noticed this and is there a way I can make the screen stay awake during headset/handsfree calls?
My second problem is small but slightly annoying.
The last couple of phones Ive had the screen woke up when I plugged in a headset which was useful, again is there a way to get this on the 6P
Looking forward to any help from you guys.
Thanks
Dave
Hey guys, so I've been having a horrible issue with this phone and I can't for the love of god find the reason behind it.
Sometimes my earpiece just doesn't work, be it for calls or anything else. In fact, if I press the play button on a whatsapp voice note and put the phone to my ear even though it turns the screen off it actually pauses the audio, which may already be an indicative that the problem isn't hardware related, as it would just keep playing with no sound coming out if the problem was the actual speaker. This problem comes and goes (but it's there 80% of the time) and when the earpiece works sound is loud and clear. When I reset the phone, it worked all the time, but as soon as I install my apps and all, problem comes back. I really need help to find out what's causing it... Is there a way for me to know if a specific process from some app is doing it? Has anyone had a similar problem??? My phone simply can't be used as a phone right now =(
If u r sure it is software related reflash the software via Odin
