My tmobile wing is flashed with PDA VIETs rom and i installed the arcsoft MMS, but i am still unable to send out an MMS everytime i send i get a warning saying it was unable to send your message
anyone know how to fix this problem?
yes i have the same problem, everyone and any network will receive my MMS but when i send one to my self or they send one to me, it hangs at 99% downloaded and then tells me it didnt download. every time. this sux im using an aftermarket rom on here, and i am flashing to the T-MO factory rom to see if that fixes it [ i hate the factory rom : ( ]
even the factory rom isnt working now, what the hell happened ? did one of these roms some how mess up the hardware ??

Okay, i tried to flash my O2 XDA II with a WM2005 ROM yesterday.
Flashing it went without a hitch and it was all working fine, until someone from my MSN Contact List told me that he sent me an SMS and was asking why i didn't respond.
I told the person to send me that Message again, and after about a Minute i received a notification that there are unread Messages for me.
I click on the unread Messages with my Stylus, i'm taken to the Inbox for Textmessages, and there is NOTHING there... i double-checked the SMS-Settings to make sure that the Number for the Message Center is correct, and it was... but SMS where nowhere to be seen.
After i reflashed the XDA II with the original 1.72 Update from O2 again, i could also receive SMS again.
What did i do wrong ?
Should i have flashed a new Radio Version too, or was there something else i was missing ?
The ROM i used is called "XDA_WM5_3.50aWWE" and it was linked here in some other Thread for XDA II.
did you verify that the setting text message service center is the same on both roms
you can get to the setting using settings->phone->services-voice mail and text messages
yep, they were exactly the same, i also looked up the Number for the Message Center on the Web for my Provider, which is E-Plus Germany just to make sure.
I did not flash a new Radio ROM while flashing my Hima to WM2005, should i have done that ? and if yes: which one ?
donno i went to 1.19 when i moved to wm5 and now wm6
havent had any issues
people also report equaly good results with 1.18 and others
well, maybe i'll try that some other time... right now i'm not in the mood of flashing my Hima again
the thing that bugs me though... do i have to set anything in the Radio ROM File before flashing it to my mobile, or can i just go the usual way with the NoID-Flash Utility ?
no radio flash is just like a normal flash but with no rom file
a radio flash is don at the same flash as a rom flash if both files are present
thought so... i just had no incentive to update the Radio as i saw in some signatures here and on Buzzdev that People ran WM2005 with Radio 1.17.
I've been trying to send an mms message since last night and a few minutes later, I get a message telling me unable to send message to xxxxxx and it just sits there in the outbox. I thought it may have been the notorious sms problem back again so today I sent myself a blank text and that worked. Then I sent that mms to another person and I got the same message - unable to send message to xxxxxx. I know it must be my phone but what exactly? If this helps, I am running OS 5.2.21869(21869.5.0.82), Manila 2.5.19211619.0, ROM 1.48.405.2 (71294) WWE, ROM date 11/18/09, Radio 2.05.51.05_2.
Also I was reading a thread made by geekyhawkes "MMS not working vodafone uk - help!", to try and solve this issue as Im on vodafone also and on page 2 of his thread there was a solution listed by xavierdemon. I was following those instructions and got to step 2 and powered my phone off. When I did, the screen turned off and then turned back on and showed me this....(scared the crap out of me). Can you explain what that is and why it came up?
PS after typing this, I just tried sending the mms again and this time it went through to both recipients. Whats happening?
are you on o2?

No mate, Im on Vodafone....im sure I mentioned it?...Yes I did.
I'd update to the latest ROM _Dee_ hopefully that will sort all your issues, that screen you posted looked like your phone was about to hard reset.
Do you have the Voda ROM? If so the update is here http://devicehelp.vodafone.co.uk/firmwaredevice.php?ModelID=424&e=0
If it's not a Voda ROM, visit the HTC website and download latest ROM from there.
Hello all! I cooked my HD2 with the Leon 1.6 Rom last night. Haven't seen any issues so far, except that the MMS messages I receive won't download to my phone. I don't know if this is an issue with this Rom or not, since I didn't receive an MMS before cooking it on the original TMOUS rom. I basically click the message, and it tells me I have a MMS message, and I need to download. I click the Menu button and click the download MMS. A second or 2 later I get a message, "unable to download message from "recipient name and number". How do I fix?
anyone have a fix for this, i have the Valkyrie rom, and i have this same problem. Its cost me naked pics, so its kind of frustrating.

Hmn. I would also like some help with this too, as I recently came into a wing that had been 'upgraded' to one of the ROMs from wingster before I received it. I was able to hard reset it thru the settings but when I go to install the 'official' T-Mobile ROM over the hard reset it does the same thing: (ERROR [260] : Connection) and I have tried to do this again after a PC reboot, no luck.
Please and Thanks.
After digging around a bit more, I hope this helps:

Hello.
I got a problem with my N910C. I can't send and receive SMS. It is working only short time after I turn on phone (for example one hour, sometimes it's working longer) and after some time my problem appears. I noticed problem on WanamLite 3.2 firmware and I have that issue on Sixperience v6.0 ROM. But I think that linked with my ROM, because when I started using custom ROMs I didn't have that issue. I'm using U1COJ5 modem. I tried to replace my SIM card for new one and I still got this problem.
Any ideas?
Can't send means, that SMS are sending till I got an error, can't receive means that after somebody send me a text I get that message after I will restart my phone.
