All T9 Languages + HTC Touch HD keyboard for dummies - XPERIA X1 General

Hi
Im now tired of searching and juggeling 100 different cab files with different results..
Can anyone point me in the direction of which files i need to install the following 2 things on a x1 with stock english rom:
1. Touch HD keyboards which actually work and is the correct resolution.
2. Reg hack for all t9 languages (nordic ones are the specific one im going to use), which does not mess up the resolution on the hd keyboard, so the buttons pressed are actually the same buttons shown on the screen (the æøå buttons is the most important thing here)
Thanks in advance

HTC Diamond keyboard

I've been trying a cab file which contents the keyboard from the new HTC-Diamond. But it didn't work without any problems. I couldn't configure the keybord options, the programm always crashed while trying it. Touch keyboard and keypad worked fine. The cab file is only for english and italian language, but I need it for a german device.
Has anyone got an idea how to solve the problem?
The new keyboard looks very nice. Bigger and finger-friendly buttons. It works like Iphone keyboard whith preview of the letter you're typing.

Any way to arrange order of SIP, or flawlessly disable Diamond's QWERTY?

Hi all,
I don't like Diamond's QWERTY input method and would like to move them out from the first page for input method selection screen. Is there anyway to do it?
I tried to use registry to disable the 2 QWERTY input methods along with the phone pad input method. But when I pull up the input selection screen, their original buttons will become black buttons
If there is no way to change the input method order, then is there anyway to disable QWERTY flawlessly?
Please help.
anyone know?

[THE] Black Diamond keyboards - whc's SM multilanguage added!

Hey guys,
I inversed colours of keyboard and dialer.
Copy the files to the device, from there to Windows folder, they're protected so I used Total Commander.
If there's anyone who would like keyboards like this but blue or red or whatever, tell me and I will do it for you or tell you how to do it.
Black original keyboards (You have to have original version installed) (without full qwerty):
http://uploading.com/files/HO87HZFT/Black Diamond keyboards.zip.html
http://rapidshare.com/files/197643363/Black_Diamond_keyboards.zip.html
I made also whc's small keyboard, including full qwerty, symbols and numbers. Works fine on my Diamond, all languages should work. I edited files from the newest version, but I don't think you'll get any problem on older version.
How to uninstall (get back to whc's grey SM):
Launch uninstall cab - on the list of programs you'll got this "program" or:
Uninstall Black whc keyboard like a normal program and install whc's keyboard again or:
Install whc's keyboard
I think it's best to launch uninstall cab, you'll have two more programs on program list but it won't take any memory.
These methods won't uninstall whc's SM, only turn from black back to grey.
It seems to be impossible to change font colour in full qwerty, so I had to make it lighter :/
Incoming: Update for original (full qwerty), whc's stock keyboard & after that whc's hd.
If I missed something, let me know.
Can you do all the keyboard I use full qwerty
This is great !!! I LOVE THIS !!!
Only 1 problem it dont work on my diamond :-(
Full keyboard is almost ready but I think I will have to make it lighter a bit to make those black letters more visible.
Dude! Awesome! Now I'm waiting on full qwerty and landscape qwerty.
Any plans on making this for the Touch Diamond Small keyboard? The one from the HTC Fuze.
wow thanx cant wait for the swedish keyboard what about the telephone pad keyboard
do you mind making a phone keyboard?
Nice! I can't wait for the Spanish version
you guys can call me a chicken, BUT, is the swedish version bulletproof? does it really work as suposed to? on ROM 203SWE ?
I've had enough problams making the damn KB black alraedy. so i just want some insurance. and reliable feedbacks

I think these keyboards should work on all ROMs.
I think U converted wrong files in Dialpad. ... You should convert Assets_dialer_Normal.bmp and Assets_Dialer_Pressed.bmp because those files U gave in dialpad don`t change anything ...
wondering one thing im using whc 1.6 swe keyboard this will work on all ?
If you have any different keyboard installed instead of the original, it won't change its colours but you will have original keyboard with inversed colours.
hmm strange,
I copied the files in the Swedish folder.
but ut never asked me to replace existing files.
and after my reboot, only the 123 and T9 buttons are black the others are still the same
can it be because my buttons are named differently?
Which keyboard do you use? This is swedish version of mini qwerty, maybe you use phone keyboard?
i use phone keyboard too think you can make a black one of that please ? tack så mycket
I think I will post it tomorrow. But tell me, do you have any special swedish characters on phone keyboard?

onscreen from querty to azerty

Hi, I have a Touch HD with WWE (I think). My onscreen keyboard is querty (but I would like azerty) and I don't have T9 for my mother tongue: Dutch.
- Problem 1: onscreen keyboard
Is there a way to change the onscreen keyboard to AZERTY without flashing the device? (It's my employer's device and I'm afraid I will loose push-email functionality after flashing)
I found some stuff on this forum, but that doesn't work and I think it's because most tutorials are to change the layout of a physical keyboard. Not for the onscreen. Can anybody help me.
- Problem 2: Dutch T9
I didn't get it working yet, but I did find some CAB's somewhere and some tutorials on which registry entries need to be changed. As I said, no success yet, but I probably should get this working if I dig a bit deeper. If I find a working solution, I'll repost it below.
Problem 2:
Set keyboard language to Dutch
Select Touchinvoerinstellingen
Check Spelingscorrectie
check Woordaanvulling in T9-modus

[Q] how to change hardware keyboard layout?

Dear all:
I have been able to convert my German X2 successfully into Dutch/Belgian language using the information contained in another thread.
However, I am now faced with Dutch/Belgian language, with a corresponding AZERTY keyboard layout.
The trouble is that the German hardware QWERZU keyboard is now also typing in AZERTY layout and the keys do not correspond.
Question: how can one change the hardware keyboard layout in such a way that it reverts back to the German QWERZU so that I can at least see what I type?
I have searched all over this forum and elsewhere on the net, but found no working solutions so far. The solutions that were offered, do not seem to work.
Has anybody managed in doing so succesfully? If so, I would greatly appreciate urgent feedback as this is really annoying right now. Thank you so much.

you should use the AE Keyboard Mapper to replace the hardware keyboard layout, for AE Keyboard Mapper intentionally a specially designed key mapping almost all external or built-in hardware keyboard or keypad is connected to a Windows Mobile device. You can use it for "localizing" keyboards (if there is no support from the OEM keyboard driver on your language) or just for the mapping of some keys (like the conversion from AZERTY to QUERTY, the addition function by disabling the Ctrl key or application key binding).
my advice, you just visit his WebSite to get more information and also download it ---> http://ae.inc.ru/aekmap.php
Thanks for the hint. Downloaded and tried it but somehow I cannot choose any other layout than Russian. Even if I type in "German" instead of English, nothing happens.
I also tried out hints pertaining to the X1 (changing the registry etc) but these do not work either as the relevant registry lines do not appear. I guess there must be a difference between X1 and X2 in this respect.
All very disappointing I should say.
