Today T-Mobile Germany released their official ROMUpdate to WM2003
It´s the Version 4.01.19.
I didn´t test it myself, but added already to the kitchen.
So guys. Try it out and report me about the new ROM....

The wmodem appication is included.
I cann´t say it exactly, but the help file only talks about serial and infrared, so i think, there is no USB...

WHich Radio Stack version is incorporated?
Still 4.21 or is it a higher one? how can I distinguish this from the RSU upgrade file?

I did:
From there go to your Start folder inside the Windows folder. From there find the link to the RSUpgrade file and delete it. (Don't worry about deleting a file, this is just a link to it and we will re-install a good copy of this file)
Now, restart your PDA. It should return to your normal desktop but with no phone connection as the Radio Stack is not installed. From here, place it back on it's cradle/usb connection.
Just as stated above by Matt, you need a copy of the RSUpgade installation or a ROM upgrade insallation that includes the RSUpgrade. Unpack this, I used Winzip to do this. Find these files:
monitor_ul_bs.m0
monitor_ul_bs.map
RSUpgrade.cp64
RSUPgrade.exe
Now, using Activesync, explore to your Windows folder on your XDA and copy those files from your Computer to there. They must over write all the old files.
Disconnect from your PC and run the RSUPgrade.exe file from file manager. It worked 10 for 10 when I did it this way so it should work for you also.
and ended up with radio stack 3.23.11 Protokoll 32S54

Only the AutoStart folder is not correct:
-Handsfree(.exe)
-poutlook
-SMSReceiver(.exe)
-Ussd(.exe)
This files (.ece) are now DLL's - I think the are called by a nother app.

Depends on what kind of bluetooth stack is in your PDA.
If it is Microsoft Bluetooth then this install wont work

Searching desperately for the German ROM
Hiya people. I have been looking for about a week now for a GERMAN version of the rom. Any ideas. I have a MDAII, german 1.72.01 rom, and wuld really hate to have to update to English, as I use the german Keyboard and spell check way too much!

LOL I am English, so Thanks :ö) I actually need the german ROM because of the German dictionary, that and the fact that about 20 % of my apps run in german, and freak out when I have an English ROM installed. The English progs work fine with the german rom though.
I have PDA Topkey installed, so the keyboard is not a real problem, but the fact that I use the german transcriber, and write SMS's in german is going to be a problem with an English ROM.

My dopod is 818Pro
For information:
I allready have the latest ROM for dopod818pro with OS:WM2005,
but i want make wireless sync. This process doesn't support on ActiveSync 4. I must use activesync 3.8 for wireless sync (WM2005 not compatibel with ActiveSyn3.8 )
Can somebody help how to solve my problem? i must do downgrade to Wm2003 or Any solutionfor wireless sync?

Prophets WM 2005 to 2003
My understanding is that you can not downgrade prophet to WM 2003. I wanted to do the same. Just because WM 2005 is to slow comparing to Magician. Of cource its processors fault as well, but I wanted to see if it was going to be faster with previous WM.. I was tolled its not possible.. Different structure of the phone.

You can try that to sync over Wifi : http://www.airscanner.com/downloads/airfix/airfix.html
I never tried it but I assume it would be safer than a downgrade
If it works give us feedback!
Another work-around is register at http://live.mail2web.com/ for a free account.
Then assisgn this server also in Active Sync on your PC and PocketPC. After this you can sync via wifi with your pocketpc to mail2web.

I'm thinking the hole evening why somebody bought a new WM5 device if he want a WM2003 one? Why prophet not magician?
I bought a Soft Bank X01HT recently with pre-installed WM6 Pro (Traditional Chinese)
CE OS 5.2.1437 (Build 17944.0.3.1)
Since the bundled installation CD is in Japanese WM5, I am now looking for WM6 for my PC in order to workout "sync".
Kindly please provide some hints for that, thank you very much!

Hi, I installed WM6.1 on my Imate JAMin. Is there a way to install Windows Live Messenger on it?
This is the only problem, otherwise this ROM is working wonders. Will appreciate anyone's help in this regard.

Hi John, not sure what you unzipped with, i just tried the link and unzipped and it extracted correctly showing only the one cab file? Perhaps you had a dodgey download, so do try again
