Hey..
I bought me a Dual-SIM Card for my HD but i think it wont work on it !!
Not by Software but i cant get the Right Contact to the cards!...
I used the Adapter where you must cut out your original SIM-Cards!
Does someone other than me have any experience in that?
This thread has some info:

The SD WiFi card can build inside XDA II.
But I want to know detail. Does anyone know how to make it?
Hmm, that's very interesting!
Please, post more details here if you find them.
@slash_tsai
I can't read taiwanees but if you're able to read a it can you translate what this guy is offering.
If I'm not wrong he is selling something about this solution. Can you tell what he is selling and for how much!
thanks
Has anyone tried
contacting the guy/gal?
I don't speak a word of ".tw", so I can't do it..
He/she might be able to share some info on the thingy..?
Just my two cents..
Babelfish is your friend ;-)
XDA O2 changes the contents net card.. May not need the SD memory card the inconvenient...... SD memory card which exchanges with the non- wire card trades all to be allowed forever to miss in SD inserts in Cao. Also may wireless access the net. Does not have to add any switch to be allowed to use the SD card withdrawal insertion to make the cut to have to use the SD memory card. Or in constructs non- wire card............. Let your gate not need the belt not to need to exchange trades the SD memory card with the non- wire card between... Also cannot because the non- wire card reveal not to be convenient.... Supplies for oneself the SDIO non- wire card 3000... Not non- wire card 6300.... The reequipment guarantees the solid.. 3 month
Scorch.
Babelfish has go to be SMOKING something heavy! ;-)
Anyone who speaks the native language?

Lookin' good!
I might have to dig up my old soldering iron again..
hhhmmmm.... The only reason I am waiting for the XDA3 is for the internal wifi, if this works it would be totaly cool!.............
Great! Can't wait to get instructions!
... and waiting.... and waiting... and then some waiting....
... In the meantime you can learn some basic skills to open your XDAII. Check my guide here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=8525&highlight=i+fixed+speaker+problem
Sounds good too
Only reason for XDA 3, and I 've got a spare sdio wifi card...
See my post with pictures towards the bottom of the following thread :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=10078&highli
It is very possible to hide the SD WiFi card in (well almost...) the XDA2. Short of getting it operational, this solution I find is very usable!
Sorry for this late reply but this was not because I didn't post but the guy who would supply the info let me waiting.
After long wait he has decided not to share or sell the instructions.
For me this case is still not closed but I think it is gonna take longer to aquire the info.

Did anyone experiment with integrating a wi-fi SDIO card INSIDE the Magician? I am curious to know if there is enough space inside the case to solder in the internals of the Sandisk WiFi card.
Would also be interesting to know if it is possible to integrate the Sandisk 256 meg wifi card but leave out the Mem and wire it back to the SDIO pins so that the card slot could still be used to plug in a 1g-2g card and still enjoy built-in wifi...
Thought I ask it here, perhaps someone heard something. In case I put a bug in anyone's ear, a reminder that experimenting with something like this will void the warranty... so at your own risk But if you decided to do it, let me know
I think that's impossible because there is almost no space inside the magician. Moreover, such modification will mostly disable the fuction of the SDIO slot when you enable the sdio wifi card, I blieve it is pointless to do so.
Why don't buy a blue angel or wait for the next generation of magician if you really need wifi but do not want to use an external wifi sd card.
Sorry for jumping in here . ..
Is the Magican Qtek s100 support the 256mb WiFi SD card.. ?
Sandisk says NO on my question to thre support .
Here is the answer below..
........................................................
Got this on my question from Sandisk about the s100 / wifi 256mb SD..
SanDisk Response: (12/20/2004 11:04)
Dear Joachim
Unfortunately, due to lack of Custom Bus Driver on your device (MOST HTC DEVICES), the unit will not support this card. We hope that your device manufacturer will soon come up with a fix on this issue.
We appologize for any inconviniences this may have caused you. We recommend that you use the SD WIFI CARD with no memory instead.
Kind Regards,
Sudhi K.

SanDisk Response: (12/21/2004 12:43)
Apparently this user has been able to get it to work. Our position is the same. The unit is not supported.

Plz.. say they have it wrong .. or have they even tested..??
Carlis
Sandisk says NO
And I say YES (I'm posting with it just right now !!!!!)
It work great (WifiFofum found 20 wifi access point near my home , and +/- 80 access point on the road to my office )
Buy it, you won't regret !!!
Anything I need to do when I install it.. ?
Or just use the latest drivers from Sandisk ??
U can access the 256 mb onboard the WiFi card without any problem?
I feel the Qtek S100 realy need the extra mem on a SD card ..
Was soo sad when they told me it will not work...
Ur answer maked the day
Regards Joachim
I got no problems to access the memories
TNX Marcus..
Looks like I just have to buy me a "nonworking" Sandisk 256mb SD
I suppose if I send in photos of it in my qtek .. sandisk still says it isnt working ..
Regards.. Carlis
Bad Luck Carlis
please, do you use sandisk or socket drivers with your sandisk card ?
thank's
I use the driver provided with the card (sandisk)
But I will try the socket (i heard that they work better)
Hi, I've used the search on the forum for information on this, there seems to be a bit of discussion on it, but nothing really solid
has anyone actually got this working one way or another? I don't mind even if its without the 256mb memory for now.
If anyone can help, I would really appreciate it!
just a thought, is anyone familiar with the specifications of SD and SDIO? is there possibly one of the contacts that can be removed/covered on the combo card to stop the XDA2 thinking theres a storage device as well as wifi card connected?
*bump* ? :/
I've read from other forums that the Sandisk combo card requires custom drivers from the manufacturer of the XDA2. Using existing drivers will not get it to work and its declared as so in the Sandisk website w/c states that the XDA2 and 2s is not supported.
Maybe somebody from this forum can come up with the needed drivers.
hopefully
hi, i bought my universal off ebay "brand new" for 258 GBP including postage which i reckon is a good price.
i have been using wizard so far and today i changed it for universal..the pocket pc is a real beauty..i really like it. i noticed two things which worriy me. the 1st one is : when i try to turn off the device it goes only to sleep mode but donst switch off. in wizard when i pressed turn off button it basicly turned off the device. is it normal in universal to make it sleep ? how can i really turn off my device. and the other thing is my universal dosnt detect SD card. i have got two of them one which came with my universal and the other one is the one i was using with my wizard. how can i make my universal detect them ??? (512mb and 2GB)
cheers, cudo
hey ! yeah ihave been researching a bit and i can tell with great confidence that universal dosent shut down, many pocketpc's dont. Some like your wizard are an exception. even i have a universal.
Regarding not detecting SD Card it seems odd, is it not appearing in explorer at all ? cause i've never had that problem
yes excatly it just dosnt appear in explorer.I will try to format it latter on and so how it is. is it normal I haven't got msn on my mda pro?
Hmm. this might sound like a dumb question but r u sure u're inserting it the right way ?? lol..
hehe yeah i think so and what about the MSN ...have u had it pre-installed on you universal ?
I'd be a little bit worried about it not detecting any SD cards and test it ASAP as I've not had any problems using several different ones - here's hoping it is not a hardware fault...
As far as MSN is concerned, it depends on the ROM you are using - they have different things installed and I've noticed one or two didn't include it.
Either way, using the instructions and vast wealth of knowledge on this forum, you should be able to find one that you like
all sorted at least for the moment...i am using mini sd card with adapter and after i locked it and instrted the card once again my universal detected it
can u tell me how to "activate" real VGA ? or give a thread on that ?
cheers, cudo
after a while the car is not detected again i have to take it out and put it back. thiss happens when usinng mini sd with adapter after inserting sd card everything seems to be ok....for now;
try this for true VGA and many other hacks:

Hi all!
which is the best dual sim adapter for prophet?
I saw many auctions on ebay, but I don't know which one to buy..
is this good?
http://cgi.ebay.it/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...50007856399&rd=1&sspagename=STRK:MEWA:IT&rd=1
Of course I don't want to cut the sim, but I don't know if there is enough room for bending the adaptor, or if it does fit well and it isn't too thick..
I also saw this one (I know that it requires to cut the sims):
http://cgi.ebay.it/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...50007376601&rd=1&sspagename=STRK:MEWA:IT&rd=1
is this ok? or is it too thick?
If someone is successfully using such a device, could kindly answer to this thread putting images of the PDA and the adapter?
Thank you
