hello.... i have this problem about 3 days ago... when i turn on my xda 2 mini, i can send text msg or call, but a few hour later i cant do it anymore. and anyone oso cant call me or text me, but the bar in my line provider full, i have 2 restart it again to get my text msg or etc... someone pls help me... izzit my pda prob or my sim prob, or any prob... thank you....

Hey whats up guys....last night i was sending and recieving txt msgs wit no prob but out of no where i went to send a txt and when my phone opened the txt/multimedia defualt app that comes with the wing and it lyk froze up....so i did a soft reset and phone works fine up until i try to send a txt msg....i can recieve calls...get txt msgs....but as soon as i try to reply or senda new txt the phone freezes and doesnt allow me to close the txt/multitmeda app....ive soft reseted lyk 3 times...removed the storage card...fully charged it over nite and nothing....just seems wierd why it would do this...and also sucks b/c i cant send txts as of rite now....any ideas guys??...i would appreciate it...THNX ...
actually i take that bak....i now see that its no longer that txt/multimedia app....its when i use tha keyboard...afta i type around 5 words the keyboard stops workin n doesnt let me type anythign no more but den it starts workin again n lets me navigate through some diff menus but lyk everything basically freezes up n nothing closes....help!!! lol

Does anyone knows why i get sometimes error "Your text message cannot be sent"? It happens sometimes, not always. I try to sent on one number and it got error and then i sent on other number and everything is fine. If a mobile is turned off, message should be sent and after it's turned on he/she should get a message.
Just don't get it.

happen only some times, if i send sms to myself it run, if i send to others dont work, but just sometimes.

can I ask you guys which network you're on? I sometimes get the same thing...and sometimes I get no error message but hours later when I check my outbox..the message is still sitting there, and only gets sent when I reset my phone. I'm with O2

I've experienced a similar problem, and narrowed the problem down a bit. I only seems to happen when you reply to a sms message. When the problem occurs try to send a new sms to the contact, go through the contacts tab and select "send sms". A bit annoying but fortunately i don't experience the problem that often.
I live in Croatia so I guess it's not a problem of some particulary network...
What I did:
- sending to a saved contact and to a tiped number - so it's not a number problem
- I always made a new sms (never reply)
- didn't helped soft reset
- I sent sms over gsm and 3g - same problem

this symptom happens to me too, I am in Vietnam. The problem happens when replying (a few) message but not when creating new ones. Help us if anybody finds any clue
I google it a little and i saw it isn't a problem just with HD, also with other htc models - but i didn't find a solution....

my friends always keep complaining me that i never pick up there calls, but most of the time my phone doesn't ring at all. One of my friend even confirmed me by calling my number in front of me, and my phone didn't ring.
what could be the problem. Plz Help!
Another related problem is that i sometimes receive the messages after 10 to 20 minutes of their delivery. And also after sending 3 to 4 messages, the new sent message stays into the sent box and gets delivered after i restart the phone.
Is this the phone problem or something else.

the sms problem is bugging me a lot when i use reliance sim card.Are u using reliance or any new operator ??????
and for the call problem try after doing a hard reset.

Who's your service provider?
I had the exact same issue with my airtel prepaid number and was not able to find any solution to it...i have changed now to Vodafone prepaid and it works like a charm..
PS : I had this problem not only with my HTC P3400 but also with my HTC Touch...and it vanished just like that after i switched to Vodafone postpaid.

i have also faced this problem of getting complaints from friends. They call me they get ring back But my phone doesn't rings at all & no miss call is recorded.

Gene 100 has bugs in the current ROM radio....which is Default ....!!
but is can be solved once changed it from old rom to new....!!
u can find new rom and there guide in XDA.

First of all, i have searched for this issue and I found nothing.
When I send a sms to a contact, sometimes It appears on my phone to be sent but the contact never receives it on his phone! I've noticed that it happens when it's a quite long message (~200characters). when the message is short ( ex: Hey What's up?) I never get that problem!
Does anyone have ever seen that problem? I use Artemis Rom and I get that problem with only a few contacts.. Maybe It's because of the operator? (I'm in france, and I have "Orange" and my girlfriend too and she doesn't receive my sms... I was at her side when I tried Lol..)

Today iwas messaging with af riend, then i sent a last msessage but it couldnot be delivered so i thought her mobile was gone. But after a few hours i called her and saw her mobile was on. So, then i tried to send sms to everyone but theycant deliver. And i cant receive sms too now. What can be the problem? Maybe memory status? İnternatl has around 110, phone has around 180 mb, so what is problem?
In past i had such a problem too. I turned on mobile theN i did not look at it. So , a few hours later i looked and saw, no messages or callings so i thought there was a problem and i restarted, rthen i received a lot of mssages those had been sent when i thought it was on. So you can see that, my mobile had a problem of signal but it is about mobile not about sim service.
But now the problem is not same because i can call anyone. I hope i could tell you the problem. Plase help..
