Hi, I'm a Japanese.
I don't know what proper manner here is, so I'm sorry for the intrusion, and I'm sorry for making this post.
A little information... I have some trouble with English, but it's not bad. My wife is no good though. So, instead of sending E-Mail and SMS in English or roma-ji Japanese on our phones, naturally, we want to use Japanese.
This should be no problem with the WM phones, since I have heard this is possible now that you have "rom cooking" etc.
We liked the Verizon Wireless HTC XV6800 ("Mogul" if Sprint) so we bought two XV6800 on Verizon because Sprint is no good.
Anyway, like I said, with mine it is no problem to just simply use English, but naturally I want to read Japanese website/etc. and converse with my wife. I read that I can get several options for read/write Japanese, but I think the best thing for both of us is to somehow get Japanese OS locale of WM or something.
If I have a PDA device or phone from Japan with WM6 or WM6.1 on it, is there anyway to RIP the ROM from the davice and f or someone who is good experienced cook please use the JP localization information inside the ROM to make English ROM from Titan/XV6800/Mogul into Japanese with MS JP IME too?
Thank you for your attention.

Hi,
I have the polaris UK version which only has UK, French, Spanish & ITA t9 but no Dutch.
So I downloaded the t9_dutch.cab from the tweaks & tricks thread. I also applied the registry fixes.
But now when I press a character on the keyboard it always enters a number! I searched for a long time but I can't find a fix on the forums, but I've seen others with the same problem.
Anyone knows the solution to get the Dutch t9 installed correctly?
Thank you!
Just update your firmware to the lexi firmware and you have a dutch t9 for wm6.1
Or use Touchpal with a dutch language pack..this program works verry good and its verry easy to use with the Touch Cruise.
Ok, just one more question. Are there no problems with the lexi wm6.1 version? I was reading through the forums and saw things about bad reception, bad camera quality etc after upgrading. Is this also with the lexi version?
Thanks
The only thing i really had problems with, was the fact that you couldn't change the ringtone..but that is fixed now..and the problems with the reception are also being taken care of..but it's not really that bad..i had 3 bars 3g and now i have 2 bars 3g..it's almost nothing if you ask me.
So for the internet on the gsm network its still good enough.

Bulgarian ROM does not exist in nature. But I can make it. The truth is it takes a lot of my time. You will have all the resources at hand to translate.
I'm willing to try it in my spare time. But i'll need help with technical part.
I will be quite grateful even for a keyboard solution only.
I was thinking of spending some time how to make it, but a major issue is the number of the characters and how they fit conveniently is the touch keyboard.
There is a Russian version of Cyrillic keyboard that needs some tweaks but is done really well and looks great.
I also have some feeling that somewhere I met Diamond in Bulgarian. I guess it will be easy to borrow parts of the ROM from there.
I am willing to contribute with whatever I can. Let us see if we can get traction here.

It is early for whole ROM, but there is Bulgarian Manila3.
Just one corection! There IS Bulgarian ROM! I bought my HD with It. The only problem is that I flashed my HD 4 hours after I got it and I didn't dump the original ROM! Manila and most of the OS were in Bulgarian and there was a good BG keyboard just like the HTC one.

I couldn't find anywhere Bulgarian ROM. May be it's just localization like one from Sunnysoft.
Where from you bought HD with Bulgarian?
I bought mine from 2be 1 month ago. I don't know if it's just localization or not but Manila, menus, keyboard, and many of the programs were in bulgarian.

2be can flash back stock ROM with BG, if they don't want you can go to Oconnect. - they will.
Cleaned this thread up a bit. Please keep it on topic and abide by forum rules by using English Language

So after all is there any bulgarian orm to be used as a base atleast ?
Honestly i dont know WHY you need a Bulgarian ROM? for me and many other peoles is enought if we have Bulgarian Support in the Keyboard and you can do this easy with the Finger Keyboard witch is FREE software
Another one that is Super cool but is not free is Resco Keyboard PRO..
Excusme but if all the ROM is translated in Bulgarian/Cirilic i think will not look good and on the same time will be a bit confused because some technical words in English cannot be translated corectly on Bulgarian or at least will look FUNNY.
From the 1st time when i start to use Cell Phone befor alot of years i never asked my phone even to have Bulgarian Menu.. because they often translate it so FUNNY and Confused that is much more better to use it with English Menu, At least you dont need to be a English Professor to understand and to be able to work without problem with the WWE ROM
Yes it will be just like russian ?! But its nicer when you see it in you native language. Espacialy when Everything around us is in Latin and some of our children have started to write in their notebook at school in "Shliokavica"(Phonetical type of expression with latin letters) and after all whe have to be proud with the cyrillic
Hi.
Got an english WinMO and I am swedish and would like to get swedish words in the T9-dictionary. Found a thread where there were 14 language-packs but I had the same problem as most people in that thread, the language just disabled writing in T9-mode and no letters were "printed".
So anyone got a solution for me? Would appreciate it tons
EDIT: I would only like translations (preferably at least) on the T9-dictionary since I would prefer menues etc to be in english.
I was wondering where I can find a rom with both English and Chinese languages included. Or even an English rom with Chinese viewing and handwriting input support.
Most other phones have the ability to change the system language anytime I want, but the HTC HD2 only come in one language and one language only. So if anyone knows where I can find something like, please do share =)

Dual main language for Windows Mobile phones certainly sounds like a nice idea, havenĀ“t seen this either...
But, there seem to be quite a few custom ROMs offering you English as main language and with Chinese support...
Just search the ROM thread here in the forum, you will find this, this, this, and maybe even this...
