ZUMA Game... or similiar

hello!
I loved the ZUMA game, for VGA devices!
I've installed it on TP2 and becomes pretty crappy quality! Does anyone knows a game similiar to ZUMA that looks great on TP2?

+1 Would love to see this on the TP2. Seems the resolution causes a few problems in certain apps, even those written specifically for VGA devices (of course the TP2 is a WVGA device....)

I actually bought the game (v1.03) and it seems to work fine. Doesn't occupy the entire screen whether it be portrait or landscape mode but the game itself works fine.
Resolution could be better, looks a little blocky in my opinion but very playable nonetheless.

I tried it also but it's pretty bad resolution but works!

puzzle action
Well there is a game called dragon bird and its almost a straight rip of Zuma . Also astraware make a update to the graphics of Zuma but I heard its a little slower. Marbelz blast is a good puzzle-action type game too

can we have this game on HD2??

HD Mini will be the first WM with HVGA screen.
Will applications, which are made for QVGA and WVGA compatible with HVGA?

I have thought of this problum
I find a idea which may solve the problum
QVGA is 240x320
hVGA is 320x480
VGA is 480x640
so we use the tool WVGAfix to change hVGA device to QVGA and run QVGA's program

Hmm, "soon" WM 7 will be out and all developers will jump on this since new software needs to be made......WM 7 is not backward compatible.......risk is that not much will be done for this phone .....

that's my thought too.
if every single app has to be rewritten: why should one develop for windows mobile? why not moving on to android and stuff?
this could get aweful.

Hmmm you made me thinking .....will have a check on adroid.....on the other hand if WM7 is a cracker (and microsoft makes finally good mobile software) we can wait for that. Numerous apps will come available via windows marketplace and XDA ofcourse.....

I have theese considerations too, and my good old Iolite soon needs to be replaced.
However I think WP7S and devices will need so time to mature.
Meanwhile I'll stick to WM 6.5.
Wish that the CPU was 768MHz instead of that old 600MHz.
But I still think that I will buy the HD mini. The HD2 i too big for me, and after watching alot of HD2 videos on youtube(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LOV7PH3J0j0), I must say that it really dossent impress me that much.

Hello, I have just purchased HD mini. My previuos phone was Diamond 2. I found out that most of applications which run on Diamond 2 don't run on Mini properly because of different screen resolution. WVGAFix.cab mentioned above does nothing. When I launch it, it just states: Sorry, WVGAFIX3 can't run on your system! Is there anything to do about it? Can anybody help?

Probably the only thing you can do is to email the developers of your applications and ask them if they intend supporting HVGA devices. On the optimistic side, HVGA is one of only two resolutions that will be supported under WP7, so if they're porting to WP7, they'll be doing the graphics work they need anyway. Just a question of whether they think there's money to be made from the last WM6.5 device.

The file is incompatible with HD mini.
I suppose I will never have the fone with everything so I will settle for a very good one.. ..two..[E71 Black (hackd 2 pieces) & HD mini]. I am disappointed in the small amount of apps I have found so far (especially disapointed with the Max Manilla incompatibility). For that & the like, the HD2 is worth its size but I would sacrifice the compass for the size reduction.
Is there a way around this screen resolution issue then??

I've installed TomTom 7.910 on my HD mini and it's runs without a problem.
Just search the internet for 'TomTom_7.910.9185 QVGA Black'. Obtaining the maps shouldn't be a big problem either...

Is anyone cooking the latest WM 6.5 ROMs for HVGA (or is screen resolution even an issue with ROMs)?

Hi, just got the Touch2 and love it so far. Just wondering, has anybody found any QVGA games for Windows Mobile Touch? Every game I try installing isn't for touch screen phones and I can't make it work
Any good games suggestions would be great

Basically, don't bother with games on the Mega apart from simple puzzles, Sudoku and the like. No usable hardware controls + resistive touchscreen = not a gaming platform.

Complete and utter nonsense.
I have plenty of decent games on my mega and dont forget it has JBlend so grab some touchscreen java games too. Plenty of free ones to try if you search

Buy Sega All Star Racing, its VGA but works very well on my mega.

Uppy although i do know english quite good i didnt understand what u really said ... my mega runs games pretty smooth and i love it

yeah... I also have nFinity rom, and it doesn't work that well, but I remember when I had the stock rom it worked quite well

Before installing nFintyGB, i tried game on stock phone (1.6, no root) and it was same results. (That's why I installed nFinity to try luck there. )

Wave Blazer is a fun 3d boatracing game that works perfect if you change the graphics to low in settings. Btw when i try armageddon squadron there is no menu and i can select something in the menu i just dont see it. Must be some kind of bug. Where can i download it without bugs??

which one has better FPS Quake 1 or Quake 2 ....was playin Quake 2 on mine and I was getting about 5 fps thats pretty slow....yeah is there anyway to speed up so that I can get more fps? thanks in advance

are those games runnig smoothly or laggy??is it easy to play with this screen or is hard to see what is happening in the game??

You could change the graphics to lowest and turn off sound for fastest gameplay available. Btw quake 1 runs at almost full speed on my tattoo but theres no sound. But its still fun

i play Quake 2 about 8-15 fps with off sound res 240x320 and low details....
quite good i can say

i tried Racing Thunder 1 and Deadly Chambers and they work well

you can lower the screen size in video settings of quake2 to get 15-20 fps but you get smaller screen size at least it is playable that way...

I try it and doesn`t work...still white textures and not full screen...so is not playable..if you find a good game for our resolution we ``maybe`` can play it...At this moment i wait for tom3q drivers for galaxy spica(he said we can use it too cuz is same cpu but he need some g3 devs to help him.I think marcell is the best in this cause).

nova have been optimised on devices with resolution 320x240 and yes they will ork on our device and you need to use chainfire3D. Nova runs well.
