Wow nice application man... i would love to hav it too but i see taht nobody posted any reponse to your request Hope we both have mor luck son.

Its fake sorry guys! he "made" it look like that with some type of photoshop program

I manage to get my phone to do something a little like that once.
I tried to take a photo with the sportsfunction and the cameraapplication shutted down, but the camera was still on.
So some colors where turned in to what the camera sees.
Its like in windows, if you try to take a screenshot of a movie, you'll only get a specific color, and thats the color windows use for mapping videos over.
I did'nt manage to find out what color that reacted as the camera mapping on the phone, but i know that it should be possible to find out.

Help With Camera Removal

I have successfully removed the camera from my Vogue but I want to do more than just have it physically removed. I also need to remove the camera "software" from the pictues and video viewer. If I click on the camera by mistake, it locks up the phone since it can't find it. I figure it will require registry hacks but I don't know where to begin. Any help would be great. You can track my progress here.

map the camera button to some other function... Start-->Settings-->Buttons and then pick another function, e.g., <OK/CLose>.
um... not what I meant. I have remapped the hardware buttons. I mean in the software. The photo and video viewer itself. When you open up the photo viewer, there is a picture of a camera. As we all have done, we fat finger sometimes and push the wrong thing. If I save a picture someone sends me which I save and I want to look at it I must use the photo viewer. If I hit the little camera icon, my phone locks up because it can't find the camera and I have to reset. Too anoying. I need a fix for that.
got it.... maybe one of the "xda chefs" here can help you out.
That is what I am hoping for.
curious why the removal of the camera?
Required by work and I am not giving up the phone

Please tell me you took some high res pictures of the component side of the board. =) Over on the Titan forum we have been trying to figure out if its possible to do a 128meg upgrade, but we are at a roadblock. We hope that knowing what ram chip the Vogue uses will be helpful to us,but the only pictures we are able to find of it are of too low a resolution to help.

How cool would it be to have an invisible phone?

I was playing with my phone today and was thinking. Bad. Bad things happen when I think.
How hard would it be to create a program that uses the phone's camera as the background? In essence, making the phone "invisible" in that you can see things behind it while still staring intently at the screen.
Just wondering. It's useless, and probably will kill the battery faster than streaming youtube at full brightness while using the phone to calculate the cure for cancer. But I think it would be a great conversation piece.
it sounds like a cool idea... have the background of the today screen as the camera and over that icons... drains battery but could use it for a few min /day just for the heck of it
Eh?
I may be missing something here, but how would that work? Most of the time I use my phone it is either in my hand or flat on a desk - either way the very best you would see is a blurry mass and most of the time you would see only black.
Besides, how is this making the phone 'invisible'?
Have I lost my child-like sense of wonder...??
It'd be a show piece. Not for full-time use.
And it would be "invisible" because it would display whatever is on the other side, giving the illusion of nothing being in the middle.
iphone people had a competition to see who would have the best hidden iphone. Very fun.
like this, but with 100% less blue screen editing, and 100% more on-the-fly image placement.

This guy had an interesting idea...
http://marocain.deviantart.com/art/My-transparent-PDA-Screen-71039673
why not just start your camera and hide OSD infos
Please don't do anything with this idea. People all over the world will lose their phones and never find them again!
Well, we would have several problems :
- first the camera is not really displaying what we want. It's zoomed, just because the camera is not where we are. This means there is an "offset" between what we would see if it was really invisible, and what the camera shows.
- second, we would need some kind of head tracking. Because we would need the pocket pc to display what's around it according to our "angle of view". To do so, we would also need a camera able to move. And then, we would need a program that distorts the image according to our position.
So, it sounds to me like it's not impossible, but quite hard, especially to have it working "on the fly".
I hope you understand what I mean.
Anyway, I would love to have such a feature on my phone !

Did somebody watch Predator recently?
I would like a program that could use the front camera as a mirror. Or does it exist already? Would be great to see on the bus to work in the morning, that you don't have toothpaste in your face
Gonzo - not in the last 4 years or so.
As for hiding osd in the camera... would be alright, but I want be able to click things in my spb today plugin.
this is kind of on the same lines as that internet fad years ago where people would take a picture of the background behind their laptop and put it as their desktop background on the laptop.. then take a picture of the whole effect.. in essence, a see through desktop
Nokia has concept phone which is bendable foldable changes color to match the surrounding. I looked like cool idea its conceptual, supposed to be made of an organic material and use organic components. I saw a clip on their sight.

Thanks Radical. But I have tried this, it doesn't give the option that we get in this viewer.. It's Photo contacts is very good and it's like Diamond one, but not the photo viewer. I am really looking for the one in the video.. It's really awesome, you can use the finger scrolling from the main screen to swipe thru the photos.
It is most likely that your device won't support it anyway... TouchFlo 3D is very graphics intensive...

Thanks to all the developers and contributors for the lovely softwares.. Almost all the softwares worked in my phone & I love them.. But still none of the Picture viewer softwares gave me the function that I have seen in the video.. I will keep trying it.. I am pretty sure that someone will come up with this.. I will wait... again I appreciate your help

Actually i did a test like that for pictures first, but it isnt very usable.
I think that feature in Daimond is just to show, not really to use regularly. I prefer the Camera album to view pictures because you can see all the photos in a list and then choose from one.
It can easily be done in flash but the finger motion effects have a problem with the current 'players', if you press the screen and dont release it for a second only, it pops up the "about flash" window.
Still, if you use simple buttons instead of finger motions, like I did for my flash contact list, all you need is a ouside program to list all the images in \storage card\my documents\my pictures (or whererver) to a xml or txt file, then the flash would read all the picture names as variables and present them in that kind of slideshow (or even better animations, like 3d cubes turning or fade-ins) . Do remenber that the 'photo turn 3d effect' would slow things down.
So, depending on the speed of the pocket pc model it would be slow, it isnt very slow on my dual because it has 400 mhz, but there are a lot of models out there with 200mhz...
Also, for some reason, the flash lite engine works faster but has more bugs reading images than the flash 7 engine. :/
And then it comes back to the today plugin, the only good current one is from the Throttle author but it only has one hardcoded size, he is doing a better one, and THAT one I cant wait for... it sounds as good as melted cheese!
That's exactly what I am looking at.

IT's wonderful work twolf, and that is exactly what I am looking at... Will it be possible to post a cab file of the one in the video.. So that I can test and use it on my phone.. I have seen your website and is pretty impressive.. Will it be possible to share the work that you have done here.. So that all of us can enjoy it..
Thats not dependant of me, just of the trotthle author, sorry, like I said I gave that to him.
But after he releases his new plugin, I'll be sure to make a lot of flash goodies for everyone, always releasing the sourcode, because, as I said, I'm a iilustrator, not a programmer, and Im sure others can do so much more.
thanks Twolf

Thanks Twolf.. I tried this before and I am trying the Tempus V13 now..It works perfect, but the till still skips by 1 sec every 2 secs and becomes very slow during skip.. And also takes lots of memory around 3-4 MB on my HTC Touch... Which is a lot for my phone.. . is there is a work going to reduce this... I can't wait !!! for Throttle author to release new version.. ..Tempting
Actually the skipping is good, it does skip sometimes but thats my way of making sure the time is always correct. Otherwise the minutes could change before the seconds reached 59.
The slowness is really because of the 200mhz of the touch, sorry...
As for memory, thats flash...
Maybe in the next version of throttle since the weather and clock are separated and in flash lite, they may become faster, time and tests will tell.
Thank you Twolf
Thanks Twolf.. This is a great application and I am currently trying Throttle launcher works great on my Touch.. Thanks for all you guys work.. Fantastic... Hope to see more from you.. thank you..

who is neurom and how do i contact him?
NueLED2 i didn't try it but i like to share and may someone can get this to work
nueLED2 is not… anything like what nueLED was. The idea was to avoid the intermediate DLL that caused issues with devices in nueLED, while creating an interface any application could use. So nueLED2 has no user friendly interface.
But on the bright side, it does allow individualized control of the LEDS on the Touch Pro / Diamond control pad. You could use the included nueLED2_Control app with mortscript or some other script to control individual leds. Also, nueLED2 is open source, so feel free to add to it or use it in your application, just drop a line if you do. I’ve added a .NET wrapper to make it easy to add to your .NET app

Thank you for your reply friend.
Now I have to understand how to use mortscript...
I found some other codes. The readme of nueLED2-22-v2.0 said these where known:
2: Home
4: Pickup Phone
8: Back
16: Hangup Phone
32: Center Button
Mine is more complete:
1: All on
2: Home
4: Pickup Phone
8: Back
16: Hangup Phone
32: Center Button
128: Flash center button every 12.5 sec
256: charge cycle
512: same as 32
2048: center button counter clockwise
Maybe someone can do something with this, would be great!
If somebody could come up with a mortscript or any info on how to get these working would be great, i want to have a script to use in WAD2 so when i press a button the center circle flashes.
ANYBODY
Is there anybody still fancying this great Idea originally thought by Sergio PC????
It seems this Thread is quite forgotten.....
I've always been thinking about making a thread like this. One of the main things I would like it to do is change the amount of time between when it flashes when you have a new sms. I think it flashes every 3 or 4 seconds if you have a new sms but I would rather it be every 1 second so that i can quickly just glance at it to check if i have a new text. I know it would use a bit more battery but it will be a lot more convenient for me.
Really hope someone makes an app for this, it seems like there are a lot of apps to change things that aren't even worth changing but then something which would be really useful like this, there is no app for

New Panel: Facebook

Theres a New facebook panel available; from what i have seen, its only on the US SE site at the moment, but im sure it will be in the uk one soon - for now - have a link:

Also changed the language site, I can't download.
Can you post the cab please?
Thanx!

wow, that panel is simply awesome! so nicely designed! this must be ported to other WVGA devices!

Some screens
It's AWESOMEEEEEE!!!!!
it's really good (although a bit slow at the start, but then I do have nearly 500 friends).
allows you to upload photos and call contacts.
very nice looking panel, works great, now u can upload photos as well...
Just installed this as well and I love it. I have tested it on my WiFi connection, and it _could_ be a little faster for pulling the data down, but still, it's nice to finally see some new panels for the X1. I really like the photo upload feature too, super simple.
On a side note, I am running Wisbar Advance 3 + WAD 2 on my X1, and I find that after the device has been on for a while (without soft-resetting), my Panel key will not launch the panelmanager. It seems to do something, but then quits back to the Today screen. I then checked in the System Processes and found that it was using 21mb of RAM! Even after terminating that process and restarting 'panelmanager.exe', it will not come back. A soft-reset is needed to fix it.
I don't believe this is a WA+WAD issue, because I've tested by terminating both of those apps, but panelmanager still refuses to launch via the X-Panel key sometimes...anyone else experience this sort of thing with their panels?
Otherwise, I'm sooo happy with this device, and I show it by giving my love back to the phone via the 3.5" port ooooo weee!
it's cool in some ways almost as cool as iphone/ipod touch version
and in some ways much cooler
very pro work with the gui
like it a lot. Big thanks to whoever made it. More panels now!
Best looking panel around. Great work!
