Disconnect button has disappeared - XPERIA X1 General

I can't disconnect 3G and GPRS connection through the connection bubble in the toolbar because Disconnect button has disappeared.
How can I show Disconnect button in the bubble?

GPRS

When I make a GPRS connection it never disconnects, if I browse a web page and then close IE and all other running apps the GPRS connection stays alive. I have to either hold the red button to disconnect to soft reset, Is there any way to get to to auto disconnect after a set time or is it supposed to do this and mine is just faulty.
It also happens with MMS, I send an MMS and it sends fine, but the GPRS connection stays on. You do not see the connection listed with'in the connections list, but you do have the arrows at the top to tell you your on a GRPS connection. If I make another GPRS call to the ISP then it hangs up the MMS connection and makes the connection to the ISP etc...
There is no option with'in the connection bubble to disconnect yet I have this option on my XDA1 which was updated to PPC2003. I can manually disconnect sessions using a disconnect option. But not on my new O2 XDAII running the latest ROM from O2.
To disconet manuley just tap and hold the o2 ikon then untick your conection. as to the timeout it is in there somewhere but i carnt rember off hand
Have you tried GB-Soft Tweak? It has settings to disconnect GPRS after a specified amount of inactive time.
My problem is somewhat different: When I use GPRS settings WITHOUT a proxy assigned, there is the bubble of GPRS connecting (with cancel) and when connected (in conjunction with GB Soft Tweak), there is a disconnect button.
But when I assign a proxy setting to the GPRS, these buttons disappears. In fact EVEN if it is connected to GPRS, when I tap on the radio icon, it stays in the state displaying as not connected (meaning there's STILL an option to connect to GPRS even if i'm already connected)
the only way to disconnect is the press and hold red button OR to use the disconnect button of my GPRS monitor (SPB)
I dunno if this is connected to GB Soft Tweak, or a bug in the OS on handling the radio.

GPRS and WAP

I've setup both, and when I tap the signal at the top of my PDA I can connect to them, but once I am connected I cannot disconnect from it. I have to connect to the opposite and then click cancel that way its connected to none. Is there anyway to just have a disconnect button =/?
Just press the red (disconnect) phone button. (single press rather then press & hold as in the original XDA II)

Connect/Disconnect GPRS

I recently purchased a Cingular 8125, upgrading from a SX66. On my SX66, I could connect or disconnect my connection by tapping on the [G] and selecting 'Connect GPRS'. I am wanting that same thing on my Wizard. How do I enable this? Is it a registry value?

Click to collapse
If you configured GPRS it will automatically connect when nescessary.
And if you want to disconnect the GPRS connection, just hold the "end call" key for a couple of seconds.
Add a 'Disconnect' button (and Timer) to the Connection List for GPRS
To add a Disconnect button:
HKLM\ControlPanel\Phone\Flags2 = 8 (DWORD decimal)
To add a Disconnect button and a timer display showing how long GRPS is in use for the session:
HKLM\ControlPanel\Phone\Flags2 = 16 (DWORD decimal)
To disable both the Disconnect button and the timer:
HKLM\ControlPanel\Phone\Flags2 = 0 (DWORD decimal)

I use SBP GPRS Monitor - very usefull program
The holding down of the endkey is so simple. Thanks!
Connect
This program connects to GPRS
what does this gprs program do when it's connected?
It simply connects to GPRS when you tap on it.
Better put the icon in the start menu
Does it also disconnect? Because I could use something like this.
VJVolubilis will connect and disconnect GPRS and a ton of other stuff.

disable gprs disconnect by pressing red phone button

does anybody know how to disable gprs disconnecting by pressing the red phone button. during a gprs session you can disconnect by pressing this button. that may be useful for some people, but my provider charge me every time i accendently press the red phone button. that happen often, if i press the button twice after a phone call..
GPRS always on
If you want your GPRS (or EDGE) connection to always be on, set the following:
HKLM\Comm\ConnMgr\Providers\{7C4B7A38-5FF7-4bc1-80F6-5DA7870BB1AA}\Connections\|gprs connection name|\AlwaysOn = 1 (DWORD decimal)
And to turn it off:
HKLM\Comm\ConnMgr\Providers\{7C4B7A38-5FF7-4bc1-80F6-5DA7870BB1AA}\Connections\|gprs connection name|\AlwaysOn = 0 (DWORD decimal)
Note that |gprs connection name| will depend on the name you've given your GPRS connection

I´ve heard, with SKTools you can add a disconnect button to the connection-balloontip even in the trial mode.
use NO DATA. its a small app try to search it
Hi
You can get the disconnect button and timer back as follows:
HKLM\ControlPanel\Phone
create new dword value "Flags2"
value=8 show disconnect button
value=16 show disconnect button and connection time
NoData will completely disable your data connections so the phone cant connect (handy when abroard): http://www.modaco.com/content/pocket-pc-software/246171/new-free-utility-nodata/
I thought NODATA is for permanently setting GPRS off?
