since last night i noticed a constantly glowing of the amber LED on the power button.
Normally it starts lighting when i charge the device, but now it lights up permanantly (without charging), only a little bit weaker in comparison to the amber light while charging...
Any idea why it starts glowing all the time?

i´ve tried a soft- an a hard reset - no change...
A few minutes ago the amber led stopped lighting - everything seems to bo ok for now.

where do we need that blink if phone is working properly?
if there is message or low bat, bt or wifi connection, thats nice to know, but no need for green light to show that there is power.
so, how to disable that? registry hack or something i suppose.

My flashing light seems to do what it want's. If it flashes the right thing at the right time it's just coincidence...
Mat.. I think he's referring to e.g. the right-side green LED flash that pops up every 2 seconds when the radio is on. It can be a wee bit annoying when you've got the thing on your nightstand - some people simply can't fall asleep ( even though they should close their eyes, after which they can't see it anymore )
What does the orange light mean? It seems to change to orange whenever it wants!

Green, Flashing slow (2s): WiFi on
Blue, Flashing slow (2s): BlueTooth on
Right LED
Red, Flashing quickly (1s): Battery nearly empty
Green, Flashing slow (2s): Radio on
Green, On: Fully recharged
Amber (orange), On: Recharging
Amber (orange), Flashing quickly (1s): Notifications (Alarm, SMS, MMS, etc. depending on settings)
I have a very wierd problem with the lights at the top of my device.
I have set my TyTN to flash the light when I receive a new text message. It then blinks orange. Normally it blinks green.
Here is the problem. During the night when i wake up, it feels like the green light lights up my room twice every second, but during the day when i look at my TyTN, to see if I have received an sms i have to wait for 2 seconds for the light to flash.
Just want to hear your input on what might be wrong.
Personally I think that has to do with Einstein's Theory of Relativity rather than with the device itself.
Twice every second is very obvious.. it a 2Hz flickering light that light up your room. If you are sure you are fully awake and still see 2Hz flickering light in your room at night, probably it is a UFO.

Well i bought s4 just 3 weeks ago and i installed light manager and when i uninstalled this software.Then after that the light has started to blink green( it blinks every 3 sec or 2 sec) for notifications.And all other led works fine for low battery,charge battery and battery charging.I have reset factory my phone.But still this problem arises so please someone help me to solve this problem.I want the default blue LED.
Do you have WhatsApp or something installed?
Because some apps got an option in settings to control the notification led.
I think i dont have any whatsapp, and i only use facebook

Who realties faced such problem .When battery installation immediately light touch buttons and a white LED and is on the phone to work is not affected, is working properly is not buggy (tried stokSBF, SM7, CM11 result is the same) The question is how to put out these ****ing buttons and LED. I was charging my s7edge and when i returned, i found it to have a blinking blue/purple led light. After 10hrs since I saw it like that, the LED finally stopped -- presumably because no more charge is left in the battery (though it was around 90% when I put it to charge). Now it doesnt even turn on, and there's no led coming on at all. What's wrong and how do I proceed from here?
