Someone tested Webcamera Plus on the X1?
I installed it but it doesn't work...

if you go to ( http://www.warelex.com/products/webcam/ ) and then have a look to the right of the page you will see options to download but obviously you will need to get the windows mobile version which once downloaded is a cab, so easy install but only downfall its a trial. But i belive if you was to google it you may find a torrent of the full version. but once installed you will need to use active sinc to get it running but it runs quite smooth and generally well

Hey I m looking for a prog that allows me to use my xperia as a webcam when connected to my Laptop! ... this thread seemed the closest match so .. has anybody tried the software or knows of software that would allow me to do this?

Seems like quite a few of you are interested on the new windows messenger live, so i decide to post the file here. This is still the beta version, but it's near complete and no major bug reported.
Once you install it, it will import all the contacts on your Messenger Live to your PDA contact, some people might not prefer this but there is no option to disable it so use it on your own risk.
Apart from that, this version is much much better than pocket MSN, it support far more function such as file transfer and icon...etc.

Problem is i am out of my area only with my ppc. I have also somehow managed to use my athena for over a week with out rar support.
Pocket rar is impossible to find in .cab format
If anyone can post pocketrar.cab up here for me i would greatly appreciate it

Looks like mine has gone today as well...after entering name and password it just goes back to the today screen.
Damn.
Same errors here as well. Cannot log into Windows Live Messenger or Live Mail. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling but that didn't work.

Thanks a bunch for that link Boel****. That was the only one that worked on my Ameo and it works beautifully,....except for a bit of lag when running multiple apps. Not complaining though.

The cab file created by me only has the newest WLM version which can be found on some new WM6 roms... Nothing special. If its laggy blame MS LOL
Was the old one also laggy? Cause it kinda uses a lot of resources.

perhaps I should have read this forum before deleting all my contactlist (msn accounts) in my outlook.
after a sync my msn live app refused to start up.
after deleting the msn live and a hard reset. I'd tried to reinstall it again, but this time I couldn't get trough the installation. It says installation failed. even after a hard reset!
Is it familiar to someone?
very strange that the problem remains even after a hard reset..

Runs perfectly fast on the WM6 ROM! I suppose the newer OS comes with better optimizations than WM5 AKU 3.5!

No sorry Mahmood. I'm running WM6 on HTC Universal, but have noticed a very big increase in speed since WM5. It is even faster than the Athena!! Everything is instantaneous.
this version does not support the blueangel. can anyone port it from some other model and make it useable on the blueangel? thnx. this version of Go supports widgets, which seems to be a very big upgrade on this program. hope we can have it too on our blueangels.

As of now as my info goes, its not supported on Windows Mobile 6

youtube is working great and some other video site or flash site. However, it doesn't connect when i use edge but it's working fine with wifi.
I've heard that people are stuck on "Locating" when you're not from the US
im in the uk and it runs fine except for youtube doesnt give me any sound.
anyone have this working with orb... i get an error downloading the stream file, any help would be great, im kind of tired always needing 2 browsers to get the content i want from the web

Did you relly opened "get.skyfire.com" in PocketIE?
Opened with IE 6, gettin the "Locating.."
I installed the latest version on my Diamond but to be honest I am not too impressed by the resolution.
Is there a setting that enables vga mode? All the fonts and images look stretched as if it were QVGA, anyone else got this problem?
I think I might give this a try. Just wondering if anyone had any opinions when comparing it to Opera???

Opera is FAR better as an everyday browser in my opinion.
I can see Skyfire being useful though, especially if browsing websites that have a lot of streaming media and flash. It's also quite good if you use sites like digg/reddit.
Facebook sucked and the homepage didn't render as it would on a PC so that was dissapointing, but I visit facebook using the iphone.facebook.com URL via Opera and that's quite good.
The application is supported by VGA devices like the Diamond, however, it certainly isn't optimised for VGA, as you will notice when you install and run it. The buttons look stretched, fonts don't look right and when zoomed out it looks quite pixelly
It's a good concept, however I feel that Skyfire has a way to go before it can compete with more stable browsers like Opera which is far more practical.
Which one is the best? Advantages and disadvantages?
Or is there another program that is even better?

Have you installed version 3.5 of framework?? ....if not just do so (you can find the .cab around here)

There are applications that use a lot of internet connection (such as wheter, skype, msn ecc...), but i've have a limit so i need to know how many megabytes i've have downloaded in a day...

I think you need the Pocket PC version as this supports a touch screen, the smartphone version doesn't. Hope it works for you

this one works fine, not sure how the limit you can set affects your connection, does it deny data connections until next period or does it just warn you? will have to try next month, because going over my limit means less speed, something I could live with for a few days
