Does anybody else have a problem with the power button being soft compared to the other buttons, same for the space bar? How about the slider being loose when open?

Except from the problem with my gps not finding a position, that I have already stated and not solved yet, I discovered another problem with my Hp 6915. In the menu Settings->Personal-> Buttons, there's only Button 1 and Button 1 (press-n-hold) available. There are no other buttons to assign to programs. In addition, when someone calls me, pressing the green button doesn't answer the line. What's wrong? Could it be my software (rom)? Is there anything I can do in the registry to make the missing buttons appear?
Dont know if its even possible, but i am finding as i am putting the HD in and out of the sleeve, the volume button, is continually adjusting the volume.
Can this poorly designed button be deactivated???

i just installed swipe to lock or whatever it's called and it seems to have fixed this issue. when the phone has been put into hibernation (tapping power button) the keys are disabled.

I installed AEButtons, there you can add a lot more things, e.g. double click the up volume button for screenshot or an application you like ...

I just installed Fring after turning off Touchflo3d. I am now seeing a problem of the volume keys no longer working. They bring up the Volume bar but when pressing the button again the window just goes away without changing the volume. Also, when using the Volume Down key the application that was up when the Volume Key was pressed now registers a down key and moves the cursor down 1 line. This is on a Sprint Touch Pro 2 with the Stock ROM after a hard reset. Is anyone else seeing this or know of a fix? I know this has something to do with Fring as exiting it causes the keys to start working again and running it again causes the problem to come back.

I was wondering if you could disable capacitive buttons and have on screen buttons (that don't cover the apps) on this device without root? I have heard the buttons get pressed accidentally.

I want the same thing. because I always bumping the taskview button. I even rotated the display and use the tablet upside down ,so the buttons at the top. and I still bump it sometimes...
I don't know why, but all three soft keys (home and such) are non-functional anymore as long as they are at the bottom of the screen. Sometimes the phone phantom-clicks the middle button frantically by itself (what?!). When I switch screen orientation and the keys are at the opposite side, they work. BUT: when the keys are at the opposite side the area at the bottom of the phone has no problems registering my touches. Only when the soft keys are down there, they won't work.
This is still happening after a clean firmware flash with a different firmware.
Is there a demon in my phone? What the hell is going on?

The same region works flawlessly on the lock screen. When I touch mic/lock/camera those will react. But once it's unlocked and I'm on the home screen the navigation bar won't work. Why is this happening??
