On this new WM 6.1 when I'm making a call I have to slide down to see more call option such as mute mic.,turn on speaker etc. How do I disable that slide down I want it be always down so I don't have to slide it every time.....thnx
I also have same query.
Does anyone have solution?
Use Advanced Tools
Its pretty simple, I dont know whether it will work, but try it out.
Go to Advanced Config (Search around the forums if you dont have the software / cab for it) -> Phone -> Phone Skin -> Disable
Done!

1) You know how you press the call button from the main screen and your touch dial pad shows up? For some reason, mine no longer does that. Anybody know what I did wrong and if there's a fix?
2) Is there a .cab to fix how emails save to your device in the windows messages folder so that I don't run low on storage memory (also so I don't have to physically go in and delete stuff)?
Any help here will be gladly appreciated.
1. Usually to show the keypad its the left softkey. I dont know of anything you could have done so it doesnt show. You can try an install a new Dialer I personally really like this one but you can search around if u want something different.
2. go to Messaging ( your SMS/MMS application ) Menu -> Tools -> Options -> Storage (tab) and check "When available, use this storage card to store attachments"

Thanks man. Much appreciated.
The default call log filter for this phone is "Outgoing Calls". On the HTC Diamond the default is "All Calls". This is much better. Now with my Xperia I have to set the filter each time, it will not remember the filter setting I choose.
Can anyone help making a .exe with the help of:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb416532.aspx
I'll be glad to donate for this job.
should be a stupid registry tweak... just wait and you will see, no reason for extra program
EDIT: or install dialer from blackstone, i have it and the default setting shows all calls
EDIT2: found install advanced config tool 3.3 and you will find under "phone" section

Thank you! The dialer from blackstone did the trick! advanced config tool 3.3 did not do this for me.
Does anyone know how I can use a shortcut so I can directly access the history log?
Instead of: "Green" Call Button -> Menu -> Call History
if you use touchflo3d you can install directly the call history tab http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=451644
or you can install something like spb phone suite or similar to have a shortcut on today even with indicator of missed calls
Hi all ...just got the HD2 yesterday ...so far fairly impressed with it ..battery usage is a little scary down to 58 after 15 hours and most of those hours where at night ...but still got to be kind of realistic with the size of screen and cpu it has anyway could anyone help/tell me a way to turn off the vibrate function will typing on the keyboard... I’m finding typing is not a problem at with the standard setup just the annoying vibrate feedback ...ive gone through all the menus on the phone looking for the option to turn it off but nothing found also quickly checked the forum to, and didn’t see anything???..
thanks
Go to the settings tab, select the topmost option for adjusting background, tabs, etc. On the next screen you'll find an option for turning vibration feedback on/off.
Actual names might be different as I'm using a Dutch language ROM.
thank you ...was looking in the wrong place ..(the keyboard setup menu)
HD2 (Leo) Disabling keyboard vibration
Thank you..You are absolutely correct.. missed this one and was looking in all other places.
Its located under Sense UI settings > Personalize > Vibration
Thanks again..

doing this doesn´t disable the vibration on my keyboard what can i do?
Settings -> Personalize -> Vibration. Untick the box for 'Vibrate when I tap buttons in HTC Sense,....'
doing the above will also lose the feedback vibration while clicking the tabs in homescreen...... the other simple way to only disable vibration in keyboard alone is do the following registry tweak
Using Resco Registry, go to Hkey Local Machine / Software / HTC / ezsip
Add a new DWORD Value string and call it "VibrationEnabled" (without the quotes) and give it a value of 0.
then Soft reset and enjoy!
or install this cab.
can someone let me know what's the registry setting to remove/review the "Slide down for more options" screen?
While driving, I frequently make calls via speakerphone. I always have to "slide down for more options" in order to enable speakerphone.
Thanks in advance!
Search the forum better. Or search your registry for "EnableSlideCover".
Try with bsb tweaks
Two solutions.
The simple one: You install the BsB Tweak 1.6, a very important, simple and freeware program that has a lot of tweaks for HD2. One of the tweak is called "Phone Slide Cover" that you can enable or disable.
The less simple one: If you have a registry editor, like Total Commander or Resco Explorer (sharewares), you should alter the following settings:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\HTC\PHONE
Modify this entry: "EnableSlideCover"=dword:00000000 (instead of 00000001)
More info here
If you are a newbie, you might as well choose the first option. Cheers.
Hello,
there's this standard software from HTC on the Elfin which i don't know how it's called but its the one where you slide it from the bottom of the display to the top. And then you have this 3 Sides of a "Cube" with "Music/Photos/Videos" , Contacts and Links....
How can i deactivate this software or remove it completly?
Start -> Settings -> Personal -> Today -> Items -> uncheck the TouchFLO (or whatever it called) -> OK
and then wait for it to shutdown the cube.
You can't remove it complete from the device if you are using the original ROM.
well, ther's everything unchecked and there's no touch flo option.
I don't have a original rom. But i like this cooked rom because its hard to find a good german rom.
I have the Task Manager, but I don't find anything in the services and if i kill the process biotouch than it'll come back.
Is there a registry entry I can change? Where are the entries for every autostart?
Hi, here's one at least: HKCU\Software\HTC\BootLauncher\App , I removed all of them but make a backup anyway
