Folks can anyone help me disable the battery life warning alert ... have installed the PHM Registry editor in my xda...don't know how to proceed...
thanks
Go to:
http://www.yorch.net/apps.htm
and download the Low Battery Notification Fix & install it..
To just disable the warning message & sound notification:
Go to Start -> Settings -> Sounds & Notifications, then choose the NOTIFICATIONS tab at bottom, then select LOW BATTERY WARNING from the list & untick all of the check boxes then OK..
I like the warning sound, so I just keep it to inform me that my battery is 40% or below
You can edit the registry in this way
Hi, I'm new in this forum, as I'm a newbie with my Wallaby, you can edit the registry in this way:
Browse to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Notifications\{A877D663-239C-47a7-9304-0D347F580408}\
Create a String value named "Default" and set its value to "Low battery warning".
Now go to Start > Settings > Personal tab > Sounds & Notifications applet > Notifications tab, select "Low battery warning" in the "Select an event" drop-down list and you can customize it.
Kind regards from Spain
Hello,
I have a HTC Touch Diamond. Now I've downloaded the SPB Pocket Plus 4.x for testing on my device. After the installation of SPB PP 4.x the quick menu and the battery icon, which can be opened from the top right corner of the screen, is not visible and I can see only the clock.
How can I start the quick menu and the battery icon as default again?
I hope for a solution.
Best regards,
Double-You
I've found the solution to enable the HTC Taskmanager!
If you want to enable the HTC Taskmanger again, checking the following boxes:
Start -> Settings -> System -> Task Manager -> Button
Checking the box "Enable the "X" button to end running programs".
Checking the box "Enable Quick Menu on Today screen".
Best regards,

Go to HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Shell and change DisplayTitleBarClock to 0 (pocket plus make it 1)
That will return a battery icon
Thanks a lot! It works with this registry modification!

Then select "Enable Quick menu..."

tnx a lot scl_electronics!
I changed my tray icon with advanced config from battery icon to clock..
Now it don't change it back. It makes the necessary changes to registry, I've checked that already.
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell
“ShowTitleBarClock” = 0
Although settings are like that, it still shows the clock. What I should do to restore the battery -view?
Thanks.
Ok and found the answer already:
ANSWER: settings -> clocks & alarms -> uncheck the 'display clock'-thing
hello community!
i'm new here, but the search didnt help.
is it possible to turn off the messages about visible wlan networks?
thanks for your help!
Already tried going to the settings tab, tapping 'Menu', then 'All settings', going to 'Sounds & Notifications', then to the tab 'Notifications' and uncheck the options at the Event 'Wireless network detected'?
thanks for the fast help!
i've never been in there and it was already disabled.
i will test it, maybe one of the cabs i recently installed turned the notification off (i installed new task bar icons).
unfortunatly this did not solve the problem.
so far i did the following:
- turned the option you mentioned on and off again
- soft reset
- found another setting under: settings -> more -> connections -> WLAN -> wireless networks -> menu -> extended -> uncheck "messages on availability" (it was already unchecked).
sorry, all this is translated from the german UI, hope you get the idea what i mean. and this setting didnt help either...
any other ideas?
(just to clarify, i want to turn off the notifications i get in the task bar)
thanks all for your help!
edit: i am running std. rom, all htc updates, 3d drivers from here, new task bar icons
shameless bump. i know it's only a minor issue compared to others.
but does anyone have an idea how to get rid of those?
thanks guys!
