What's better: install system software on internal memory or ipaq file store?

depend on file size of the system software you would installing
coz storage on internal memory and ipaq file storage very limited
i prefered installed on my storage card
i believe storage card is a bit slower than the internal memory/ipaq file store, so i generally put them to internal for essential apps, ipaq file store for non essential but handy and storage card only for things that i dont use much or are rather large.
The ipaq file store is too small for proper storage so i might as welll use it for program installs.
I swap my memory card resonablly often though.
If I delete IPAQ File Store it's memory goes to internal memory?
I don't think so, it only stop loading the partition at boot.

Nope, it doesn't. Just like keyx says.

Your Programs Memory is RAM
Your Storage Card is the SD card
Your Storage Memory is your built-in storage.
You will need to install programs to your Storage Card, and/or uninstall other programs and reinstall them to the Storage Card.
All my programs are install on storage card. Only one or two programs I have install on my device....

In that case, try searching these forums for the HTC album cache tweak, and for clean up programs.
I find some junk in device space and erase it...

I used ADB in my android (Galaxy S4 Snapdragon) to set the default storage as the external sd card [2]. After set it I also checked the default location using get-install-location to see if the install location is set to the external sd card but even doing all the process the apps keep getting installed in the internal storage.
Any solution?
Sorry for the bad english.

you can use force2sd or similar app to force it to external storage..
Hi all,
This problem is not specific to the P9 Lite but rather to Nougat in general, but htis is what I have, here I will ask.
Problem:
1) I want to set the default storage location to SD card, so that chrome and all other apps will save downloads to the SD card by default
2) I ABSOLUTELY want the SD card encrypted
3) These 2 options: set default storage location: SD card, and set SD Card passwords seem mutually exclusive. I can either enable one or the other (or, more plainly, encrypting the SD card makes the set default storage location go away from Memory&storage)
Is there a way to set the default storage location manually (using shell, adb, whatever? Is there any pertinent reason why the default storage location cannot be on an encrypted drive? Will doing this dissolve reality as we know it?
PS. Yes, I'd much rather actually use the SD card as adopted storage, unfortunately I read that:
Warning: File-based encryption cannot currently be used together with adoptable storage. On devices using file-based encryption, new storage media (such as an SD card) must be used as traditional storage.
