Are there any apps so I can add a timer or stopwatch to my X1??
i use spb time but it's not free ...
it has great alarm clock, countdown timers and stopwatches ...
http://freewareppc.com/clock/mystopwatch.shtml
found using
http://www.google.dk/search?hl=da&q=countdown+pocketpc&btnG=Søg&meta=lr=lang_da|lang_en
if you want more stopwatch hits rather then the countdown ones you can replace the coundown with stopwatch and press search
G Alarm: http://www.ageye.de/index.php?s=galarm/about
G Watch: http://www.ageye.de/index.php?s=gwatch/about
I own SBP Time but no longer use it, pisses me off to have alarms on a clock face instead of in a list (the old Smartphone version had that); I could never pick the right alarm. Using Fizz Alarm now and love it, and its very finger friendly too. *edit* wish all of them could push the alarm to Windows though so they would show up in Manilla or whatever...

why were you trying to push the alarms ? mind you, i never change mine and the big snooze button comes in very handy.
spb time interfaces with spb mobile shell which is pretty cool ...
Good stopwatch/timer
I use this one. You can switch between stopwatch and timer.

How can I make my clock appear as large as the entire vertical space occupied by the date and day on the left?
Instead of the tiny clock in the right, i want a HUGE noticable clock in its place.
Is this possible? How can I put a huge digital clock on my today screen, or as a screensaver?
Thx
Is this big enough for you?
The app’s name is rlCalendar.
thanks man! seems perfect. i ran the cab file, but i cant find any shortcuts...
Start > Setting > Today > Items, you'll se rlCalendar
Looks great, congratulations!!!
In the first today screen, how do you have the clock and the bell with the date. Thanks

To be fair - I believe that is only the standard time/date today screen item after the AK2U (?) updates for WM5 that provides push e-mail. Prior to that, I myself had the standard one-line date-only today screen item. That's why the clock used to be in the title bar.
I think this is an improvement over what went on before.
Hi,
I need a multi timezone clock (digital) that has a small footprint and occupies very little space on the screen. I am hoping to set and see 2-3 timezones at the same time. Date is not that important. My current Today screen is shown below and so you can see that I don't have too much of space when I have many meetings in a day.
I am sure there is something like this already, but couldn't find one that meets the requirement (small memory footprint and small screen space).

I just got SPB Time (v2) for that exact same reason and am most pleased with it. I'm sure it will meet your needs, but I'm not sure about your space requirement though, but you should definitely check it out.
Thanks for the suggestion, eb. I am going to give it a test drive. It costs US$15, but is there one that is free?

You can try the Sbsh Clock. It has basically the same functionality, and it's FREE!!
I tried SBSH Clock, but it doesn't have digital clock and small size analog clock is hardly readable.
This was mentioned here before but I can't find any reff to it.
I need a small app that can automaticaly soft reset my Wizard at a predefined time (like 6am each morning). At the moment I have SBP Backup set to run at 6am each morning but I need a smaller simpler sollution?
ViJay? anyone else?
Thanks
Jules
I remember there being a lot of discussion, but can't recall if a final app was ever made.
I suggest using my VJEschaton to soft reset. Combine that with an app that let's you make entries in the notification queue, eg Memmaid or SKTools, and assign it to launch VJeschaton with softreset, no confirmation, at 6am.
Let me know if you get a puff of smoke

Gota love XDA Developers huh!
Thanks folks exactly what I was looking for
Jules
I am looking for simple applicaton which can set volume from off/vibrate/quiet to maximum loudly. I want to set up it by RunEveryday at 6am beacuse sometimes a leave my PPC with sound off all night and then system alarm can't wake up me. I know that some alarm clocks can make it but i would stay with system alarm. Anybody can help me? Best regards.
Try Wirelesstime: http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-download-wirelesstime.html
could anyone explain exactly how to use this? What i want to do is exactly what is described in the first post, but it seems you have to change it every hour. Is there any way to have it stay the same as it was? I know this option was available in previous versions but they don't have the option to adjust the sound. Also what are the profiles and other things in the options menu (specifically the timer there).
Thanks !!
I don't like Wireless Time espesially version 2 beacuse many people playing on my PDA and sometimes they change the settings on Wireless Time (often wifi) and my battery is dead after few hours. The insterface is not friendly for me beacuse then i must scroll every day and check what was changed. First version was better but has fewer things to control.
I found perfect application for sound control for me. It is V_Vibrate from our forum. I am using it with RunEveryday. For me working perfect.
WirelessTime V3 is ready for download
Now more with:
- Minutes by Minutes
- Automatics ShortCuts for Soft or Hard Keys on your PPC
- Add Manualy ShortCuts with many options, include delay

Addintimer is a good choose to you!
I'm just thinking about all the apps I currently use on my Kaiser and how they'll work on the HD2 and i've got a quick question!
Assuming i leave all the HTC stuff as it is - how will I access apps that I currently access through the quicklaunch bar?
Examples of these apps are:
Magicall (used to screen/block calls)
PhoneWeaver (for customised profiles)
Pocketcontroller (remote desktop)
Also - does anyone know if SBSH's "Calendar Touch" integrates well?
Grateful for any feedback
(here's my current homescreen to show what i mean by the quicklaunch bar - in case i'm naming it wrong!)

You've got the choice of TouchFLO, Titanium (Windows Default, as it's called), or the old skool Today screen, as you've pictured.
I'd recommend playing with the first 2 before deciding how to set the phone up, as they offer a great deal of choice, especially with the excellent modding community on here.
There's a bunch of "buttons" on the home page of TouchFLO that allow you quick access to apps, contacts, or bookmarks, and you can arrange that as you like, so I assume that will give you the same thing that you currently have.
Hope this helps
Thanks
I know about the application shortcuts - but i'm not sure they'd offer the same functionality. For instance, when i tap on the PhoneWeaver button, it brings up a list of what profiles i can switch to etc, if i make a shortcut, i think it'll just load the program.
BTW remote desktop can be troublesome without stylus. I suggest you try it somehow before you buy it.

Oh right, I mean the other way round (remoting onto the phone from the PC)
