This was mentioned here before but I can't find any reff to it.
I need a small app that can automaticaly soft reset my Wizard at a predefined time (like 6am each morning). At the moment I have SBP Backup set to run at 6am each morning but I need a smaller simpler sollution?
ViJay? anyone else?
Thanks
Jules
I remember there being a lot of discussion, but can't recall if a final app was ever made.
I suggest using my VJEschaton to soft reset. Combine that with an app that let's you make entries in the notification queue, eg Memmaid or SKTools, and assign it to launch VJeschaton with softreset, no confirmation, at 6am.
Let me know if you get a puff of smoke

is there any application which is "simpler" no needs for the tabs and pages...
just a quick launch plugin with large icons (thumb pressable) to quickly open some applications
tdLaunch
You may try this one:

but Claunch is really good, once you gey used to it
What is the GUI Skining application you are using that "!STILL!" shows the phone signal icon. Most GUI Skinning apps cover this info up! Please let me know I can't wait, so excited!
GUI skin
The picture is not a screen capture of hops's XDA but taken from oabsoftware. And you are right, I didn't notice this. We have to ask them what were they using when they took this picture.
yes please do! I see sometime people doctoring the display to make their product look nice but, it really gets a lot of people excited about something that does not exist I have seached long and hard and nothing seems to be able to do it without cover the signal bars  so I thought it might be pocket blinds a new version but they still have the old one out from years ago no update, and it doesn't work. So needless to say my hopes are high here. So keep us posted I'm sure I'm not the only one wanting this 8)
Just got this small application today and it sure made my K-Jam more fun and made it a "one hand device".
Attached is Rar archive unzip it and transfer the two files to your device into any new folder then creat a shortcut to it into /windows/startup
The functions will be activated on long presses
Enjoy

I am using smartskey and am very happy. Only using the remapping of softkeys left (hold=start menu) & right (hold=OK).
I also set the option to close all apps on pressing right softkey except ie calendar, phone, contacts
Have to get the latest function still . . . .
Finally the program around the world in eighty days, rezip and rerar several times, rip off the author's notes and return to where it borns... luckily the filename is the still the same.

Hey Water. You should write a program like this!
Great work btw!

Tell the author to add a function to reset the overclock speed with OMAPclock after a standby. That would be cool.
You know what would also be cool? If the app could change D-Pad behaviour so we can use it like we did in WM2003 SE. But I don't see that happening.

You want to have the bluetooth shortcut on the today screen?
If you'r running O2 plus, under the "applications" tabs it can be done.
Click on O2 plus icon in today screen
Click on applications tab
Click on add button
Find bluetooth under the settings list
Done
If you'r not running O2 plus, sorry can't help ya

I think he wants to remove it entirely? I dunno, trying to figure out the posts in this place is pretty hard sometimes.
It would be pretty cool to remove that icon though, since phonealarm duplicates all the functionality I need from it.

That is easy. Do a backup (or registry backup only), whip up that friendly regeditor and locate the string "BTIcon" using a search function or walk there manually, it is in HKLM\Services\BTIcon. Remove the entire BTIcon branch and there you are.
This is coming from memory, hence the strong suggestion to do a BACKUP!
Hello all
I had a 5:45 AM alarm which I unset but it is still going off. i have tried turning the phone off and on again, as opposed to a warm reset but to no avail.
Does anyone have a cab I can run to de-activate all alarms?
Thanks

Don't know of a cab here that will do this - could be wrong.
I think it might be worth your while investing a small amount in either Memmaid or SKtools. These apps allow you to clear the notifications queue and also to select any duplicate alarms/notifications. Quite how these duplicates get created is a good question.
Memmaid:
http://handheld.softpedia.com/get/System-Utilities/Enhancements/MemMaid-supports-WM5-5047.shtml
This has a trial I think so you might get away with not paying (though I think it limits to 6 items on any one run in the trial) Does lots of other clean up stuff as well.
OR
Sktools

If this is still available for free, check for scarybear's checknotifications.
BTW, Globox, you should hang around here more often. This is a very common problem.

Many thanks guys - it was doing my head in, and yeah, I will start hanging around here more often - lots of cool things going on.
Cheers!
On my former WM6.1 phone I had button that
was able to bring the phone to stand by instead of
pressing the power button. Is there app like this for
Android ?
Thanks
I am also looking for this kind of app.

Ofcourse it's possible, here are four freeware alternatives;

psShutXP (Skinnable)

AutoPowerOFF (time delayed PowerOFF)

PowerOFF
Note:
This only works for people who do not use Manila (TF2D/TF3D); it idles on the (non TFxD) Today Screen and when pressed it shuts off the device.

Note:
IMHO it is good to check out ALL mentioned web pages, because in the last 3 linx there's more....
