Feel free to post and I'll add. This is just to tell the difference. I'll add more brands if people add reviews and such.
Opinions:
-Bodyguardz is tougher and protects better because it's thicker
Customer Experiences:
-Bodyguardz was fast and without problem
-invisibleSHIELD had horrible CS and I returned my product
I only have bodygaurdz, at first I didn't like it, but after a week or so the small imperfections cleared up, it's kinda growing on me. I also have some ghost armor that I am going to install this weekend.
Is it possible for you to take close up pictures and show the parts that aren't covered? Also, have you dropped it yet? Did it protect your device?
There's also clear-coat, which is $25 with lifetime warranty.
I've had invisibleshields for my tablet pc, but hated it. Their warranty is a little tricky, since they won't honor mistakes, whereas clearcoat will.
I could be wrong, but i've read somewhere that invis does not have a different version for the fuze, but just sell the ones for the gsm touch pro.
Whether I'm right or wrong, the fact is that clearcoat accounts for the physical differences:
1) We do account for the PTT button. We use a series of strips to cover the corners and sides - so we altered one of these strips to account for the PTT Button.
2) The back cover is one piece, and also has flaps extending from it to cover the sides and top as well. We have had no problem with the multi-faceted back - the 1-piece design still covers all the angled edges perfectly, with no creasing or bubbling.

Do all of these cover the hardware buttons below the screen, including the entire scroll wheel? Mine already has light scratches in the center of that bowl shaped button and I want to prevent further damage.
I lik the feel of invisi, havent tried any others. But i want something thats easy to put on as well, invisi for the fuze is hard, same for the tilt, but on my wing it was easy as pie.
Thats because the wing had different material, its not really a slick plastic which probably made it alot easier. Clear coat is definitely new to me, but guardz gives you 2 so thats hot for me.
Pictures of IS on Fuze
Hi all,
I posted pictures of my Fuze with IS (Full Body).
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=453332
**UPDATED!**
Added pics of invisibleSHIELD and Bodyguardz
My Personal Opinion:
invisibleSHIELD looks much thinner and doesn't look like it fits the fuze correctly
Bodyguardz looks MUCH tougher and it seems to cover more area so that's a go for me and I just ordered it right now! Just check the pictures and see.
A bit disappointed that it doesn't cover the corners, but then again, that was expected.
Nice posts
I was looking for a post like this two weeks ago, thanks for making it Kraize. Will add my 2 cents to the discussion.
I ordered Fuze invisibleSHIELD last week, will install next week.
I noticed that paperdimension has the PTT button self-cut and has the camera hole. Is that Touch Pro version or Fuze version? I also noticed that invisibleSHIELD provides a center button cover. Nice! I can't tell from the pictures if Bodyguardz does too.
I heard invisibleSHIELD/Bodyguardz exhibit an orange peel effect on the screen. This may or may not be only on the iPhone's glass screen. We have plastic, so it might not be that bad. It doesn't look horrible in paperdimension's pictures. Bodyguardz doesn't have a clear picture of the screen itself, so I can't tell. If it's really bad, that's a deal breaker for me since I'm really ocd about my gadgets
Example of orange peel effect: http://justanotheriphoneblog.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2008/03/orange001.jpg
I'm actually really happy with the Fuze's included screen protector. Fits extremely well and is extremely smooth and shiny (I love the smooth look very much). The smooth effect aids in smooth gliding for fingernail/stylus navigation. It is cut so well that, after putting it on, I can't even tell that there is a protector. Sadly, there are already three scratches on the protector so I will need to replace it when it gets really bad. Is there a place to order the OEM screen protectors?
I used to have a Pelican screen protector on my PSP. I used that for a year until I replaced it with a Hori screen protector from Japan. Both cost $5. OMG the difference between Pelican and Hori was night and day. The Pelican screen protector distorted colors and images. The Hori screen protector resulted in vibrant colors, crisp and clear pixels. It was like a brand new PSP screen. Sadly, as far as I know, Hori doesn't make a Touch Pro/Fuze screen protector.
From my PSP research, Martin Fields also makes expensive but good/clear protectors. It turns out they also have a Touch Pro protector. (http://www.martinfields.com/US/productdec.asp?pid=4100&modeln=&model=) Anybody have experience with this one?
EDIT: Found a thread in X1 comparing Martin Fields with InvisibleSHIELD (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=446228). I think I will leave on the OEM screen protector, add the InvisibleShield to the back/sides when it arrives, and replace the OEM screen protector with a Martin Fields when the OEM protector collects too many scratches... Pricey, but I like my screens shiny and clear =)
I think i might buy the guardz, i hope its easier to put on than the invisi. Wanna give a way your code Kraize b4 i order lol? But as far as the thickness goes it gives the phone a wonderful feel after you put it on.

read the thread, it was mentioned that IS includes a cover for the round button.
Thank you. What about the other 2 brands?
nice review, i ordered my bodyguardz yesterday and did next day shipping so should be here by 2morrow i will provide my customer exp with the full body guard
I also ordered them yesterday. I don't remember, but is the free shipping (USPS First class) next day shipping?
IS Fuze Version
In installed Fuze IS last night. Fit is slightly better than paperdimension's Touch Pro IS. Cut much closer for the Fuze. A noticeable difference is that paperdimension's version has the front layer folding over to cover the sides. The Fuze IS has separate pieces for the front and the sides.
Imo, provides better corner coverage in certain areas than Bodyguardz from what I see in this thread. Will post pictures in a week after it cures (extremely busy atm). You can be the judge then.
BodyGaurdz
I installed the BodyGaurdz last night on my TP. It did not come with a center button protector.
14 pieces to put on. It wasn't bad at all. I'm glad they sent 2 sets. Because I may need to redo the back. I have a couple of big bubbles that may not go away. The hardest one was the one for the buttons on the front. The bevel for the center button traps air bubbles. Very hard to push out.
The back has two pieces. One for the back plate and another for the camera strip.
I went through a whole bottle of solution (which is just water and baby shampoo).
IMO, Bodyguardz IS the way to fly, there customer service is above superior. If you take your time and install it the way the directions indicate, it fits perfectly. I did much of research regarding these film style protectors, and the bodyguardz seems to be the best value.
1. 2 sets for 24.99!!!!!!
2. Lifetime replacements
3. Discount for repeat customers.
4. Superior customer service (they actually care)
Gone are the days of "the customer is always correct". However Bodyguardz seems to be the exception to this. 24.99 is not much money, they could charge ALOT more and still be worth the price. This company really knows how to deliver and take care of a customer to maintain loyalty on both ends. I believe this is what is and will set Bodyguardz apart from the competition.
P.s. Ill copy what a previous poster already said.....
As far as ZAGG and the invisible shield goes.... Must be a damn good product because i cant even find the damn thing in my mail box, the bullsh*t tracking number is invisible also, fedex can't even seem to locate it. And that is the truth. Ordered from ZAGG and 3 months later, still no product and no refund.
FU*K YOU ZAGG
!!!!!!!!YEA BODYGUARDZ!!!!!!
well i just installed mines, i gotta say it took longer than i expected, there is alot of peices and the baby shampoo and water did help but some how got sticky ressude on the non sticky part of the protect how do i remove?
by the way this protect covers almost every part of ur phone expect the center button which i find is ackward since the center button is used more often than any other button but i guess since its a bit pushed into the phone alittle it will make it difficult to remove
also they said while removing the protector it could actually damage ur phone i guess cuz it sticks on there pretty tight so be very careful removing it, good thing i am paying for my insurance

Anyone know of a hard case for the kaiser that covers everything? I do *not* need to be able to see the screen or press any buttons while it is in the case, I want something *tough* to put it inside that will fit in my pocket and take knocks.
UK please...
I'm using a Pdair Aluminum Metal Case
They do free postage to anywhere and are sent from Hong Kong. I've bought many products over the years from them and are very well packaged/presented.
Edit: I just noticed you said UK. I've had the products sent to both New Zealand and Taiwan with free postage and takes around a week.
http://www.cases.com/eltytn2h.htm
I got this case about a week ago and am loving it. I like the pockets for storing microsd cards. The "credit card" pockets aren't wide enough for anything but paper. There's a pocket beneath those pockets to keep my swipe card for easy accessibility. There's a hard insert in the leather so it's very stiff and will not touch the screen. It was tight on the tilt for a day or two until the leather loosened up. No belt clip option on it which is what I was looking for. open access to plug, buttons, camera, and everything.
Just noticed they are on backorder.
nope, I am looking for a rigid plastic pocket - open at one end as splitting down the middle makes it weak. I am looking to do off-road downhill sports with the kaiser running memory map (see sig) in my pocket. Something that, should I take a fall, the kaiser will have a reasonable chance of survival. Leather pouches, protective fascias and the like just aint gonna cut it.
I am looking for something like this too, but I am in the US.
http://www.seidioonline.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=896
Best case ever made imo it doesnt need removing either when you need to use the keyboard although it doesnt protect the screen, I use an additional screen cover for that protects against damage.
For the seido, from post #6, that case does neither cover the buttons nor the screen.
thanks though
If you're looking for a severe duty case, these guys are highly recommended and service customers globally.

My coworker gave me his Pal Treo case where he had his Tilt in.
Fits in my pocket too.

That Palm case is slick, but I don't think it'll handle the extended batteries.
If i file the raised groove that makes the tilt/treo fit snug, i think it can clear about 2mm more room. dont know how much thicker the bigger battery can get.
i picked up one of these ebay specials http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=350037529875&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT&ih=022 covers the screen but not the buttons. for the price i'm not complaining.
+1 to the peli case suggestion. I do already own a peli case (In fact that's the "Camera case" I mentioned in one of my earlier posts) but I don't think they really do one in a suitable size / weight - their cases are maybe *too* over-engineered to put in a pocket. I did notice a page on their site where you could submit the inner dimensions you want in a box so I popped in the kaisers vital statistics (plus a bit of depth to allow for an ext battery) - let's see what they come back with.
Would not think twice about buying peli again, absolutely top notch quality.

If you need a second buyer for one of these count me in. Their standard cases are just a bit big. Same with the Otterbox cases. I am looking for something that looks like the Palm case above but has the ruggedness of a Pelican or Otterbox.
I am looking for something similar. I would like to attach my TyTN II to my bike. Standard bike mounts (such as http://www.gpsforless.co.uk/product_details.php?id=11492 ) are not an option for me, since they don't protect a PDA a little bit.
I have in mind something similar to Just Mobile Rugged Case ( http://www.just-mobileonline.com/products_protectionseries_4.html ) but they make it for HTC Prophet only (although dimensions are not very different).
I was looking at the Otterbox as well, but they are huge, ugly and expensive (shipping to Slovakia would cost twice as much as the case itself!).
Pelican looks good but I want a case that would fit my PDA well (is suited for it).
Yesterday I have ordered PDair aluminium case ( http://www.pdair.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=10100000_900000_11000164&products_id=6561 ), will post here as soon as I recieve it, if it's strong and protective enough.

Looks like we both have the same needs in a phone protector. If you don't mind after using it for a while commenting on whether your phone reception/signal strength/gps is altered by the metal case.

Pelican Cases For Tilts - Overkill - Yes
It's like killing a fly with a .357 magnum.
Until Pelican goes from, "Tell us the interior dimensions you'd like to have and we'll let our engineers know!" to "Tell us the interior dimensions you'd like to have and we'll MAKE IT FOR YOU", I'll keep on looking. Pelican cases are GREAT, no doubt. But, from a practical standpoint, I can't see how you would implement a reasonable and acceptable convenient access/storage of your phone with these Pelican Cases. I own several, but I use mine to store things like My Surefires, other sensitive gadgets, important external portable hard drives, my telescope and astrological bino filters, etc. For things like these, you can't beat Pelican. But, for in and out continual use, it would get real old real quick, whipping out the Pelican case to get your phone before you miss the call. Plus, I have broken a few nails just opening them up in a hurry. Not that matters to men, but for me, it’s a *****.
The Treo, from the photos, looks most conducive to housing the Tilt, but not with the extended battery in place and I agree, a little shaving off the Treo case and it'll probably work. I am using a treo leather case with a single snap over the top. I have a screen protector on and a big ass extended battery. I have the hard rubber case, but the back plate will not work with the extended battery in place so it sits in my drawer. Too bad too because even with the camera hole on the front, the face plate would've hidden the at&t logo in the upper right of the casing. Leaving it on by itself looks silly. Bummer.
Anyway, I just wanted to give you my perspective since I have Pelicans and know their capabilities and at the same time recognize their limitations in terms of storing this or that.

is your "hard rubber case" the Seidio one? If so do you want to sell it?
Jeff
I use the pelican cases a little differently. I place a RAM mount ball on it so that I can carry the phone in a watertight compartment on my motorcycle/bicycle/atv etc.
I have been thinking lately that I may just make one myself with the polymorph stuff I used in my brodit passive to active car mount mod
Would probably involve puttting the phone in a bag like I did in the cradle mod and wrapping it in polymorph. I am a little concerned that if I did it, it would mould a little too well to the phone and I wouldn't be able to get it out. I suppose I could fill in the screen area with cardboard or something and tape a ridge of material on each side (where the buttons are to ensure there is a groove in the case to stop it pushing the side buttons and roller) before putting it in the bag.
I am thinking an open ended "cup" with a hole in the bottom of the cup so you can push the phone out with your finger. I think if i did it so it went in with the USB towards the bottom of the cup, the hips near the bottom of the kaiser would hold it in place until it was pushed out by putting your finger through the bottom.

the camera and most of the space around it.
the lower back(where the speaker is)
it tries to cover the chrome strip of the keyboard part
and it covers the front where the camera is.
it lacks a lot of coverage for the front

Currently, it is not available in Singapore yet so no comments.
I've heard mixed reviews about this product, but I'm also waiting for my order to come in sometime this week so I can try it out. You've already seen it on Youtube or read reviews about it, but you won't know until you try it out yourself I guess. Hope that some of us will be able to answer your question soon.
I have mine in front of me, right now. It arrived this afternoon, so i am just thinking about fitting it, either tonite, or in the morning.
It cost me $24.95, and took 4 days to be shipped from US to UK.
As soon as i have fitted it, and tested it for a bit, I will post here, and let you know what i think of it.
What i do know, at the moment, is, The screen protector that is on the phone at the moment, (Carphone Warehouse own brand) Is a worthless piece of ****e. I find using the stylus comes naturally to me, so the screen gets a lot of stylus work done to it, and the screen protector on now is scratched to buggery.
So, I will be quite interested to see how the invisible shield is after a couple of weeks.
Will let you know.
Cheers.
I'm interested in getting one so waiting for your sharing...

Could you tell us exactly which parts the invisible shield covers? Im really interested about whether or not that chrome strip going around the phone is protected.
Looking at the sheet of parts i have here, i would say yes, the shiny narrow band round the side of the phone will be covered.
From what i can tell, by logical deduction, i think 95% of the phone, when the slider is closed, will be covered. There are no parts, whatsoever, for the keyboard, or other exposed areas, when the slider is open.
I will attempt to fit it all tomorrow, and report back.
Can you post a pic of the main screen area?
OK.
Have done the invisible shield fitting, and have to say, i'm a bit dissapointed with it.
As the above poster states, there is still quite an area of the phone that is not covered at all, however, most of the main "scratchable" areas are protected.
To attempt to list;- The battery cover, 99% covered.
The screen 99% covered.
The Camera lens etc, 90% covered.
Front Top (above screen) 75% covered.
Bottom 60% covered.
Top 60% covered.
There is absolutely no coverage of any parts exposed when slid open.
There is no coverage at either side of the screen, nor the sides of the screen section of the phone.
The material used does seem quite robust, but it is early days, and, as a stylus user, i will have to let time tell on my screen, how well it lasts.
The kit is pretty easy to fit, and it can be done by anybody.
I will report back after a few days of usage.
I'm interested most in the screen part. Is it really immune to scratch as advertised? From the outside look how is it compared to Martin Field?

i just ordered this today and im paying a premium.. more then the cost since im ordering it through another means... this is not sounding good for me? can you please keep us informed...also how is the scree n protetector sufficient? i plan to use it with my thumb and not stylus? is it too grippy?
When I say i'm a bit dissapointed, i mean that i thought more of the phone body would have been covered. As it is, there is still quite an amount of that shiny bit round the sides of the phone which is unprotected. Also, either side of the screen is unprotected.
The plastic material, i am quite confident about. It will do its job fine.
I have been using the stylus, (and a pencil) on the screen for about a day and a half, now, and i cant detect a single mark on the screen film.
If you look carefully at the 1st posters photo album, you can see where the gaps are in some of the film sections.
Wait so the chrome strip ISNT protected?
Also.. how did you go about installing the screen part? I was always worried about that liquid leaking into the phone :|
Ok invisible shield for the xperia SUCKS big time. Not only does it not cover the entire front face plate or the chrome part, but When I applied it to my battery cover, i noticed that I had some excess bubbles so i tried peeling it back a little to squeegy them and the xperia logo actually started to rip off! So now I have no choice but to keep the invisible shield on the battery cover so that the logo doesn't come off. Also I would never recommend putting it on the rubbery parts of the phone as it won't adhere as well as the smooth parts of the phone, I really expected more out of this product, but for the xperia it sucks.
can someone else confirm what this guy is saying^ should i ditch the full body protection and go martin fields?
does the screen protection work good though n4v1n?
O.K. after a bit more use, i can solidly say that i'm happy with the screen protector part of the invisible shield.
After several days use with the stylus, and a sharp pencil, i cannot detect any scratches on the film.
I still cant quite decide whether to leave some of the other parts on or rip em off, tho.
I think in some places, it spoils the look of the phone, but i want the protection it offers.
N4v1n,
Cant you use the liquid in the spray bottle, that comes with the invisible shield, to help peel off the film?
does it really peel off the xperia writing on the battery cover? Does it damage any of the other paint?
The damage had already been done the spray can't help me in peeling it off, If I do peel it of I will be missing at least 2 letters from the xperia logo. I didn't use the shield on any other part of the phone. I didn't buy for the screen protector as I use pdair for that, I have all the other parts of the shield but I am not going to use any of them as they are not made very well in terms of cut. The shield did not damage the paint afaik.
OMG! This thing is horrible!
I've previously used ppctechs.com write shield, which is far, far superior to this crap.
First off, this thing didn't even stand up to me ripping it off to wash off some dust that had attached itself to the underside. The corner that I carefully pulled back to pull it off is stretched out and flimsy. (Yes, I used the solution. It helped zilch in removing the protector from the screen.)
It's sticky when using (even after 24 hours). Really frustrating to use when thumbing through touchFlo or anything else for that matter.
It's nearly impossible to wash anything off of it (sticky side). I had a piece of dust get underneath when applying the thing and when trying to wash it off I had to use my fingernail to scratch it off which scratched the sticky residue underneath leaving a distinct marking under it. UGH.
Worst $30 bucks I ever spent...

Hi.
I will make this quick; not much time right now.
I would not buy any case that lets uncovered corners.
Why?
Because if the phone falls you will be very upset because there is a High but Highly chance that you will regret it when your corners get screwed.
See the following info about protecting your device:
Think ABOUT THIS.......
I just read every ones opinion (at least posted ones) and it is Obvious that the following is the best Option for PERFORMANCE/USABILITY and PROTECTION (you will need ALLL THREE):
1. For the SCREEN:
Use a non-glue screen protector (static) and if you are like me that is always WRITING with stylus for EVERYTHING using any Note program every day, then it also HAVE to be a NON-STICKY one because it will be troublesome for you to write on the screen (and it should glide).
Annnnd...... If installation goes wrong (got lints, fingerprints, etc.), you can wash and clean everything and re-apply.
2. For the BODY:
As far as I notice and saw Invisible Shield is Military Grade (only one with PATENT), and VIDEOS and also REVIEWS show the HIGH QUALITY And PROTECTION FROM SCRATCHES.
3. WHOLE PROTECTION:
You will need to find a Shock protection(or whatever you want to call it) CASE that covers the WHOLE phone (you don't want to drop it and then find out that your phone got screwed in a CORNER). It also need to have a HARRRRD FRONT COVER (to protect the screen from Impacts) and I would prefer NON-FLEXIBLE one.
OK, so we HAVE:
BODY:
1. Invisible Shield for the body (or if it is REALLY but REALLY true WITH PROOF and DEMONSTRATION that there is another brand like IS, then post it BUUUUUT with Prooof.)
OK, What we need:
1. Screen Protection-Usability: One that is top performance letting you Glide EASILY your Stylus FOR Writing.
2. A CASE with the Qualities mentioned above in number 3. "WHOLE PROTECTION"
ALL this will let you:
1. CARRY with confidence your device (knowing that is secure, in case you DROP IT).
2. When you have to answer a call or use the device and retrieve it from the case, Show its attractive shiny look.
3. Knowing that once it is out of the case it is SCRATCH proof.
4. Work without having troubles writing on the screen.
Please FEED BACK about this COMMENT.
How bad does the case impair the keyboard (since it covers it in plastic)?
I had one for my tilt & really liked the clip, damage protection (to udgn's credit my corner did get dinged), and slot for my rfid card but I never used the keyboard. The tilt would also catch slightly on the plastic when the keyboard opened.
I've also read where the cover unsnaps easily.
Fuze is in my pocket so far with a bodyguardz back skin & stock(static) screen guard but I'm worried about lint.
Worry about lint?

1. Be specific worrying about lint.
2. Keyboard being covered by plastic... I think it will be a pain.
2. As for a good cover or carrying case I have just FOUND what looks like an alternative:
a. It looks like it covers corners.
b. Protects screen.
But you already started with the right foot by applying protective skins that let you show your phone.
I WILL POST THE LINK TO THE CASE LATER.

Pocket lint, http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php?t=1492564
I've seen it under the screen of blackberry pearls and it looked like it was already trying to cover up the camera lens after a week on my fuze. Hopefully everyone carries in their pocket & lint isnt an issue... I'm surrounded by iphones & people thinking it doesnt get better than a razr so I've got no reference. The best option I'm seeing so far is the noreve case. Still open on the edges but offers the best protection I can find while still using the keyboard.
Then again, old iphones seem susceptible. http://www.popularmechanics.com/technology/how_to/4291585.html
Looking forward to your link.

Ok. first things first. Daaammmm it I can't find the info for the case (IT was so F!*#% hard and took alot of time to find that) BUT DON'T WORRY I WANT IT, and I will FIND IT AGAIN. SORRY I don't have it Right now.
Second Don't worry about lint, if you want to keep it clean I suggest you to buy a bottle of COMPRESS AIR and a MICROFIBER CLOTH, and a little brush (have to be made of natural hair) and it will be lint Free. *** and maybe a little vacuum with a brush adapter***
The key is maintenance.
I promise I will find and post the link.

(the only reason I'm buying it is because it looks like it covers everything, ESPECIALLY the SCREEN and CORNERS, as it looks like)(I'm not looking at the STYLE "just in case")
Any way I can show the phone's style as I will protect its body with Invisible shield, letting me take it out of the case.

udgn,
Thank you for the link... I looked at the carrymoblile case and it came in #2 on my list.
My big concern was the keyboard seemed to be down in a well of sorts. I tried hard to get a better look at it but even on youtube all I could find were a bunch of still shots.
I was also thinking the belt clip appeared to be slightly off center so the phone would hang crooked. I may give it a go anyway. I ordered the Noreve case back on Feb02 and it's still on backorder.
Depending on where your located & also if you gamble I found the carrymobile at a better cost (est $22 vs $28) http://cgi.ebay.com/Carrymobile-s-L...0QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAU_MobilePhoneAccessories
Youtube on the noreve case, I see the belt clip is off center on this one as well. Came down to fingers vs well.

If you get the case I'd appreciate your thoughts on how wide the gap is between marketing & actual use. Is there enough room to jam an rfid card in it (gains me access to work)

Any recommendations for a "non-sticky" screen? Hard to know online which one will be best.
I had a Krusell for my 8525 and it worked great. It was the same design as linked above. The open corners are not really an issue because the case is slightly larger than the phone and if you drop it the case takes the impact. Also they stand behind their warrenty. I actually chemically melted the belt clip area on mine and the replaced it no questions asked (unfortunately they sent me a case for a tilt instead of an 8525 but at least the replaced it). Krusell builds their cases very very well. I never had a problem using my keyboard with the plastic over it either.
BTW: Carrymobile.com seems to be offline, at least at the moment.

I would really like an horizontal carrying case, but the problem is that all that I know leave corners open, and believe me it does not matter if the case is bigger in the borders remember the case have weight and if it falls the exposed parts will get scratched. I'm still looking, but the only one I found that covers all the phone is the one I posted, and the only problem with it is that I think it's going to be troublesome to retrieve the cell out of the case each time you have to answer. PLEASE let me know if you find one.
Colin 725:
I will post links to the one I know that are like writing in paper and 99% clear (none yellowish), and blocks 99% of the radiation from the screen. I'm posting from my phone so no links now but after 10am I will post them.
Dane Austin:
Know this, if your phone fall, specially on the street, and having in mind that the phone have its weight, ALL exposed parts will get damaged or scratched.

No offense, but if I can manage not to break a phone in 6 months I'm doing really good. (In the last 4 years I've broken 3 or 4 Razrs, 1 sony, 2 8525s and now I'm on a FUZE). The krussel case protected my phone from drops very well. I even layed on the phone a few times (forgot it was on my belt and had to get under something). I am extremely hard on phones and cases and this one outlasted ever other case I tried and protected my phone better. The only problem I had with it was that I got a chemical on it and the part where the button attaches on the back melted. They replaced it no questions asked.
Ok I found an Horizontal one.

Ok I think that I found an Horizontal Case from Krusell, By looking at the pictures at least at the bottom corners it looks well guarded, and I think we can modify top corners in order to protect it.
I'm looking at this one because it looks strong and hard leather, and it wont get fluffy.
Link here: http://www.krusellcases.com/uk/p_krusell_zoom.aspx?i=123701
udgn: This may help with your search or at least help with what not to get.
After 3.5 weeks on backorder I got my black Noreve case. I understand your want to protect the top, bottom, sides of the phone & this definitely isnt the case for you. The Krusell I had for my tilt did a much better job as there was some overlap around the corners & the leather was thicker.
Pro:s
Doesnt add near the bulk to the phone as my Krusell did to my kaiser & wizard.
The fingers on the case only really impair the lower right forward arrow and shift key (neither of which I use very often)
Cons: This case should protect the screen somewhat but it also puts it at some risk (IMO) because the 2 slots for extra mmc/sims press against the screen.
I might be able to tweak it but the case does release the phone fairly easily if the keyboard is open. I might be able to fix this with double sided tape but I shouldnt have too after spending this much.
There's no place to hold my rfid card which allows entry to the parking garage & work. Tradeoff for minimal bulk I suppose.
Too early to tell if the belt clip is better but I had grown to like the krusell multidapt system. However, I havent seen any easy way to mod the krusell orbit to get rid of the keyboard cover. It needs to come with a custom battery cover you can permanently attach to the case then allow this to hold the phone in.
I must admit, finding a case for this phone has proven to be a real challenge. I gave up my keyboard with the krusell on the tilt because of the plastic cover and I'm trying to avoid the same with the fuze. I'd like a case that could stay on the phone all the time but still allow keyboard usage & offer protection. I'm concerned with a horizontal belt case I'll drop the phone getting it out of the case. I remember you want to be able to remove the phone so this may be your best bet.
InvisShield + simple horizontal belt clip case is all I've needed to make sure my phone is secure, everyones different but InvisShield provides me with a great sense of mind as far as "if I lay this down it's not going to scratch".
Video Review
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F7Avbo78Ml4
Summary
Seidio has long been known as one of the top providers of smartphone accessories.
I received the Ultimate Screen Guard - Crystal Clear, and I must say that it is very similar to my SGP Steinheil Crystal Clear for Moto Droid. Is there a difference? It's hard to say. It does feel like the Seidio protector drags your finger a tiny bit more. I put the protector on in my room. Don't need to do the shower trick if your room is dust-free. The Screen Guard feels like glass, is static cling instead of water+soup application, and doesn't affect image quality. In the future though, I will probably end up going with a Anti-glare/fingerprint screen protector, because fingerprints drive me crazy. Also note that this protector does not have cutouts for the front camera and sensors, unlike Clarivue.
Their main competitors in terms of cases include OtterBox and BodyGlove. OtterBox does not yet have a case announced for the Evo. BodyGlove cases are usually considered inferior to Seidio's, though cheaper. I must say I am VERY satisfied with the Seidio Innocase. I'm even starting to like the purple look! It doesn't add much to the phone, it protects the back camera, and there's so much potential for future accessory compatibility if you stick with Seidio. I loove the rubbery texture, much more than the back of the Evo itself. I often listen to Pandora while driving, and the Evo slides around like crazy on the tray. With the new case's grip, it stays in place and I feel a lot more secure about the Evo. Highly recommend this case!

What's up with Seidio and women looking upwards?
Ultimate Screen Guard - Crystal Clear
Very simple packaging. Booklet style holds everything.
Evo without screen protector.
Evo with Ultimate Screen Guard - Crystal Clear. No glare reduction.
Comes with 2 protectors, application card, and microfiber cloth.
Huge piece of microfiber cloth!
Comes with instructions on the card.
It's on! Can you see it? Neither can I.
1 millimeter of space left on top. I shouldn't have aimed it flush at the bottom edge of the Evo.
Looking great!
Innocase II Surface
Lots of leftover room in the packaging for such a thin case.
The two halves.
Closer inspection of the inside. Love the feeling of the felt!
Snap it on the Evo.
Kickstand works great! No weight redistribution so the Evo is rock steady.
Top and side cutouts.
Bottom cutouts for mic and ports.
Seidio screen protector + case = safe as can be.
Labbit says hi.
The Making Of
I didn't have a tripod, so I used the next best thing. A trashcan. Rigged with scotch tape.
Oh, thank goodness! I was hoping I wouldn't have to pour soup all over the soon-to-be mine Evo! Thanks for clearing that up!
All humor aside, thanks for the review. That Innocase looks really good. What is the outside made out of, some sort of metal or simply hard plastic?
Awesome review!

Hmm it's hard to say. It's some kind of soft plastic. Something like a cross between plastic and rubber.

After a day of having the Ultimate Screen Guard on my Evo, I'm starting to like it a lot more. When it was new, it was much harder to drag your finger across the screen, but now that I've "broken it in", it feels much smoother.
Great review. Thanks for the pictures.

great review both text and youtube-wise. I was wondering if you think this case will support the extended life batteries when they come out. As the brief product description mentions "It has 133% more capacity than the original battery and comes with a black replacement door featuring Seidio's signature soft touch coating". You mentioned the case being fairly snug, do you think this will be a problem or if it will work just fine as with the rest of their products? I may just email them if you are not sure.
Again great review!

Thanks! Seidio has both a Slim extended battery and a larger sized extended battery (not out yet). The slim will be the same size as the stock battery, and only the larger battery will need a back replacement door.
Yes the Innocase will work with the rest of their accessories.

sweeeeet this is good news. One more thing though, do you think that the added bulk from the 3500mAh battery will cause problems with the Innocase? I plan on getting both but want to make sure my Evo with big battery and new door will fit in the case without any issues from the added bulk.

I don't know for sure, but my GUESS is that there will be a separate Innocase that's compatible with the larger extended battery. Looking at the current Innocase, I don't see how the extra thickness can be compensated to still fit. But the good news is, the car dock and multimedia dock are both listed as compatible with the large 3500mAh extended battery.

Thank you I was looking for it on Amazon since I am a prime member.
This case is definitely my second choice. I guess I'm in the minority that actually likes the $15 silicone case at sprint. That being said I've had Seidio before on my Pre. I love the feel of their cases and they usually are the thinnest of the cases you'll find. I am getting their screen protectors though. The sprint one bothers me since it only covers the screen and that's a problem when you slide your finger from teh top or bottom edges.
whats the font for the time ? sorry that ****s hot lol and how do you apply it to beautiful widgets 2.9
There are already cases listed on Amazon but beware as none are legit for this phone. Make sure to match up the cameras and fingerprint scanners to the back of the case.
First legit case
https://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-Invisible-Xtreme-Lightweight-Absorbing/dp/B01JOOECG0/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1477713400&sr=8-6&keywords=phab2+pro
First legit case. Just a simple TPU one. Clear.
Hopefully there will be some portfolio style cases that be used as kickstands. I want to be able to put it on a desk or table to watch video or to use Skype.
That case might actually be the one that is going to be available on the Lenovo website (they say a clear case is coming). I am a bit OCD about my phones and want to have screen protectors and cases in hand when I open the phone box. I would have ordered the phone from Lowes.com yesterday but I really want those items - made specifically for this phone - in hand before opening the phone box. I am assuming that case on Amazon ships from China? I am hoping that in 2 weeks there will be more different options available (now that the phone is in hand for many customers)...

I heard that the screen protector type might be an issue because of the way the Pro's display is angled... That maybe the wet install "skin" type might be better? I like this type better - I only used the wet install on my earliest phone - have used this type ever since...
Do the holes on the case you got match up with all the ports, etc. on the phone?
I am actually thinking of waiting until the Black Friday time frame to get mine because I would prefer the Champagne Gold color and I figure by then there will be plenty of case and screen protector choices... But, if not, did your items ship from the USA? Thanks for your time!

Just waiting for someone to see if either of those wallet cases work. No hard otter type cases yet and no cases with a kickstand.

Thanks for your time!

i bought these, and the manufacturer screwed up the dimensions. the width is only the width to the edge of the screen (NOT the bezel), and the height is the OVERALL height (PAST the bezel, will not sit flat because of the raised lip around phone). not even close to fitting properly.
Thanks for the updates using your personal experiences!!!

I ordered the same one but my phone hasn't come in yet. Were you able to get a refund?
I ordered the only TPU case that was available on Amazon from Tektide. The case fits perfectly.

Here's a picture of the tempered glass on the phone. Take a look at the edges as they don't full stick properly.

Yeah... I see! Thanks for the pictures! I would worry about dust and dirt getting under those edges and sticking - it would look pretty gross... So I guess a thin, bendable or a wet install skin will be the way to go...

I've had a soft case ordered for a week & it still hasn't left China. My phone, ordered at the same time, arrived yesterday. I'm afraid to even pick it up without a case and, when the case gets here, I still won't take the phone out of the house until I get a rugged clam case/holster or Otterbox case for it. With the phone's Lowes Building Supply tie-in, someone should have anticipated the need for a rugged case. I've been a builder and contractor for decades, since "mobile" phones had to be permanently installed under the dashboard, and I know no one who would risk carrying something so delicate on a construction site without the heaviest protective case.
What about it, Lowes? Got a protective, rugged holster in the pipeline for this thing?
Even though I will always be carrying it around in a handbag I want a protective case, too... My fear is that there won't be enough interest in the phone for the "good" case manufacturers to even bother with it!!!

Last night I had my phone face down on a table, and accidentally bumped it off. I heard a thud and looked down to see my phone face down on the concrete floor. Either the Tektide case saved it or I may have just been incredibly lucky in how it landed, but fortunately it was undamaged. Lesson learned though: phone is slick when face down.
My el-cheapo ($0.99) soft case came in from China & it's great! It's clear (vinyl?), covers back & sides, and it's slightly sticky--perfect for anyone worried about dropping their slippery new phone. I'm waiting for a rugged clam case / holster before I take it out of the house but for those of you who don't mind carrying a $500 piece of glass in your pocket, this case will fit all your needs, providing you aren't in a hurry. I ordered mine on a Thursday & it arrived on Friday--a week later. Here's the link to buy:

Forgot to mention, do NOT open the soft envelope that this skin case arrives in with a razor knife ! ! ! ! ! This large phone's large soft case fills the vinyl bubble envelope. When I sliced the envelope open I scratched (sliced) the soft cover inside. Damn. Still works fine but...

You sound like ME! Not even wanting to take the phone out of the house without the proper protection! Lololol! I bought several of those cases... I hope that teenie package will get here before the phone does... Although I still haven't ordered the phone yet...I am still tempted by the Zenfone Ultra... And would rather buy this one from Lowe's. And don't want to order waiting for 3 week shipping... I will definitely get it while I still have a valid coupon code for 30% off a Drops & Spills warranty at Square Trade!!!

Anyone have a rugged cover type for this phone yet?

Black case now available on Amazon + Qi receivers
This case has the wrong photos, but comments say it fits the Phab 2 Pro perfectly and it's black - better for using with a universal Qi receiver than the clear case.

I have it on order and will report back, though my phone doesn't arrive for 2 weeks (shipping from Lenovo delayed twice now!)
I have a couple Qi receivers on order and will report back what works (or doesn't).

These are both for "Type A" micro USB like the Phab 2 Pro (the narrow part of the micro USB is facing the screen).
