Has anyone figured out how to put guitar hero mobile on the G1,I have the game on my sd card that I got from the internet but it"s a jar type of file and I don't have an app to open it up on my sd card. Can anybody help please if you figured out a way to do it yet,I love this game!
I am with you man i love gaming it up and I'm searching every day for new games and such. If i hear of it coming out or hear of a way to do what your asking i will let you know. I doubt that such an app will come out anytime soon though, more likely they will release a paid version of it and you will have to purchase again.
Thanks man,I was about to say somebody gotta reply,i can't be the only one who feels this way about this,I tried the java version from the app J2me runner from the market which looks for games and installs them right on your phone but it sucked,it was laggy and I couldn't figure out the buttons plus the screen wasn't full. If anybody messed with this program and knows how to work it I would appreciate it,I would mess with it but my phone is low on memory so it will be hard for me to try all the games out.

A few of us were wondering over on sprintmogul.net if there's a way to make the new nascar app Sprint released work for the moguls. When you try to download it to a mogul it says the device is not yet supported. Ms.Survivor downloaded it for another phone and posted the file at rapidshare to see if anyone can make it work on a mogul. Looks like its going to take some java expertise to make it work. Anyone wanna give it a shot?

Im just wondering if anyone has any interesting games or apps.. i know theres a list with a whole bunch (not sure who posted it) but i downloaded the games and stuff but im having no success getting them to work on my htc.
If anyone has any games or anything to amuse myself whle im sitting on a bus or something lol.. that would be awsome.. or even some help with these other ones i have
why not try use torret n search for "windows mobile" or "pocket pc"..
I know good site to search for games...
go to: forum.ppcwarez.org and look for windows mobile then game releases by category and search for your game...
Most games are cracked so install them at your own risk...

I have the same issue with an Alltel version of the HTC Innovation, PPC6700.
Can it be revived anywhere?
Im working on putting the android system on mine and hoping to remove the phone applications and use it as a media player. Im not too sure what else I can use it for.
I am planning to use it as an in-car mp3 player.
For now I will just use the windows 6.5 that is on it.. but it would be nice to get android or a base linux distro working on it. I want it to offer windows networking (samba) so that I can just drag songs on to it from inside my house.
I'm actually a bit excited to put it to good use. I currently just use it for windows phone development (testing).
I too just unearthed two of them & put the tinkerbell 6.5 ROM on both of em. Needed to do some in-building antenna troubleshooting and they worked GREAT! I had wanted to make them little video players for the kiddos, but i'm afraid they'll dial 911. So for now, they sit patiently on my desk.
Do you have any info on the tinkerbell ROM?

Im new to blogs so please be kind, i know this is probably something really easy to do, but im having problems doing it.
Im trying to run the darkstone hd2 froyo rom through harret.exe. I've downloaded the rom and have placed it on the root of my memory card aswell as harret.exe the media folder to fix sound and the other random files that i was told to download with harret.exe.
I have tried to run harret.exe but it just stops about 5 lines in when its trying to "boot" the "karnel"
Can anybody help me get it working. I've regretted buying this phone from day one when i realised how **** windows actually is and theres finally a fix (although not complete, or perminent)
If someone could just show me how you do it from start to finish on a video or something id really appreciate it, ive tried looking on youtube, but everythings either fake, or it misses steps out.

I like simple things and so ive been pottering about with this Mango and i stumbled apon the search features.
Anyone else had a shot with them yet? there are a few extra wee buttons down the bottom, but the one that really caught my eye was the music one.
push the button, hold the phone to some music and bobs your uncle, it will tell you what it is, and a link to buy in from the marketplace!
This has probably been around for ages on other devices but i have to say im mighty impressed with it, heard a new song on the radio this morning, pushed the button, an bam, instant download link, that is what im looking for, simple and easy.
WM6 is an amazing OS and i still use it for somethings but MS is getting there with WP and im really likeing the simple direction they are taking it, i think folk just need to remember that its not trying to be a WM clone, or a Android / IOS clone, its doing its own thing, an im strangely drawn to the idea.
Anyhow, if your using Mango and havent had a play with the search button, have a look an see the groups thing is pretty handy too
