THe older windows live messenger thing is still around, that works quicker doesnt it than the latest one?
Speaking of which, does this latest messenger still import all your msn contacts into the phone directory?

Live Messenger doesn't work

Since now 4 weeks after i installed a new ROM i can't connect to MSN via wiondows live messenger mobile anymore..... i tried 3 accounts, but the same problem with all of them..... I also tried 4 different ROMs, with no sucess.....
Is something wrong with the microsoft msn servers? Because imov and eBuddy can connect me to messenger, but windows live mobile doesn't (with desktop windows live messenger everything is fine also)
Please tell me what to do if you know something, because live messenger is much more comfortable than iMov.....(and i only need MSN network....)
thanks!
Chris

Default Windows Live Messenger doesn't work proberaly.

For the people using windows live messenger that already is installed on the HTC Touch HD, could get problems with connecting to the server.
Mostly the synchronizing failes, i found on the internet the latest version of Windows Live Messenger 10.6.39.1300 and works fine after miliseconds

The version you've posted is a slightly older version of Live Messenger and that was the trick! THANX!
I've installed your version and I'm back only on my Touch HD finally!
thanks!!!

Windows messenger

Hi
I have a HTC touch which is on T-Mobile UK (GSM), my son uses this phone now. He wants to be able to use windows messenger or another IM client but for some reason the messenger option is missing on the phone. Can anyone help with a solution? I am not sure if you can update the ROM or download windows live messenger and install it.
Thanks in advance.
Just download one of theese files here

AP4 windows messenger

For transferring files using chat messaging, I can't find a better WM6 messenger app than the Windows Messenger that is included in the AP4 ROM.
I want to transfer files with a friend who has a AT&T Tilt/Kaiser. They are using the original Tilt ROM, and they don't want to change the ROM.
I would like to get the CAB or the installer for the version of Windows Messenger I have, so they can install it on their Tilt (preferable the CAB.)
I think Windows Messenger is a component of Windows Live rather than a separate app, and the Windows Live installers I've been able to find don't have a working version of Windows Messenger.
I'd appreciate it if someone can help me find a CAB or installer app that includes the Windows Messenger that comes with AP4.
Thanks, Bren
I found a version of Windows Live Mobile that includes Windows Live Messenger.

My friend installed it on their Tilt and it works.
One odd thing though. It looks like there is a limit to the transfer file size. It seems to be 2 meg limit. This limit does not exist when transferring files between Windows Messenger apps running on XP.
