Hello all,
Just one question about TF3D, is it possible to modify the size of caracter in TF3D, for example in message tab ?
Because, sometimes I have just one part of the message if the message is long. It's truncated.
Thanks in advance.

Hi there,
I am hoping to find just a few rare tweaks for my Diamond, here they are:
1. Anybody ever though of (can't believe nobody did) a tool for left-handed users? Specifically, a.o.:
- WM vertical scrollbar displayed on the left not on the right
- In TF3D, the People tab, the slide-out bar to display some of my favorites is on the right and not on the left. Sliding with left hand is no good because the palm covers the screen.
2. Is there any way to transfer contacts with non-ASCII symbols from htc memory to SIM?
3. Managing text messages. Once you browse Inbox and single click on a message it displays along with the keyboard. What makes big sense once you want to send a message is useless for reading messages. Any way to rid the screen of it? How about the font used to display the message. Which registry variable sets it?
4. How about SMS channels be displayed on today screen? It is possible to add the channel but not display it.
regards
With regards to #3, can't you just tap the keyboard symbol at the bottom-center of the screen to make it disappear?
I sure can, but tell me one reason to do it?

Hi,
I've readed a lot of Topics and a lot of Posts but I haven't found a simply solution. I've tried also a Zoom Sms but doesn't work as my intention.
I'd like to reduce the font size in the Manila 3D Message TAB....
Can anyone help me with the basic instruction about how to do it?
Thank's in advance to all....
BYE, Bobo
Its simple.. Just go to the messages tab and on the right you have zoom out and zoom in buttons. Use them to modify your font
I think he is reffering to the actual tab "Messages" and not where he writes his messages. As far as I know, you can't resize the font size in settings. But i'm sure that it can be done, I just don't know how
Hi,
YES Liquid you are right....
I've read that there is a mode9 manila files to modify to obtain this... but it's not very simply to do.....
I'm looking for a more simply solution.... Or a manila file already done.
Thank's
BYE, Bobo
Actually it has been done already. Juggalo_X over at www.ppcgeeks.com made a version of manila that has it included. I tried to look for some screen shots but all his photobucket pictures are down. maybe if you ask him nicely he may share the files with you.
Oh.. Wierd.. Then is it only me or does everyone have a zoom in zoom out button in the messages tab in manilla?
Maybe its because of the ROM ive installed..
Never paid attention to this before
hi folks,
first of all excuse - if there is a thread about this already - i found nothing really related.
the 1st question is: how i can make it on the home-screen of tf3d to have more calendar lines - 10 or more and scrollable would be perfect.
the 2nd question is: on the sms-tab there are showing the messages in that way: only one per side - even if they are very short. is there a way to compact it to have more sms on one side and only scroll if nexessary.
thanks for your help.
best regards, twk1
no ideas ???
I have recently bought an HTC Diamond2 and upgraded its ROM to the official WM6.5, still using TouchFLO 3D. I have set the character size to the largest available size (through Settings), yet the character size in 'Contacts', SMS text and the digits when I dial a phone number is too small for my eyes.
Is there a Registry Tweak or Utility to further increase the character/font size?
I use a utility from here to zoom in/out text from SMS text, which is good but not adequate (NB that no sliding bars appear for the text to be read properly but...).
In addition, mine is bought from the Netherlands, yet I installed the official Greek WM6.5 ROM.
I tried RealVGA, but a single DPI is available (hence useless).
Thanks in advance for any information.
there is a magnifying program for the phone. Maybe this is something for you?

i believe the real life application: "reading glasses" might also be appropriate here
jokes aside, magnification programs are easy to use. search for them in this forum. a few available i think.
I do own the real-life application "reading glasses"; the problem is that when I am about and the phone rings, it is not easy to take the 'application' out of my pocket and 'run' it.
I have also installed the Zoom In/Out application for SMS.
Nevertheless I am surprised there is no information on how to change the character DPI under WM6.5 or the screen resolution.
Thank you again for your answers
The fontsize from the SMS tab can be found in a _manila-File.
But i forgot in which file... You could ask a rom cook, who build in a biger SMS font.
I changed the font on Manila 2.1, but not on 2.5 with Mode9 editor.

Try this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=551611
You can just use the slider to enlarge the text in SMS and emails.
As far as the system text.... maybe Advanced Config?
Thank you, but the proposed application does not run for some reason (I have install the latest mobile .net framework (version 3.7). Should I use 3.5 instead?
As for the last reply, I have set the character size to maximum from the Settings, but they are too small due to the small screen size compared to the resolution.
Judging from a LG GT500 I would say that a resolution of about 320x200 (or slightly higher) would be alright, but I know neither the Registry setting (if one is available) or a working application that can do the trick.
Thanks again for the replies though.
Try NET CF v3.5.
Is it possible to have bigger fonts size to read SMS in the Sense (I know how to make it in windows mode). Any cab or registry mod? Thank in advance.
Went searching the registry and found an obvious entry. Changed the default setting of 2 to 5, soft reset and I no longer have to squint my eyes !
HKLM\Software\HTC\HTCMessaging\Fonts\FontScale
A word of caution to those with huge amount of sms. I suspect it may cause lagging with the increased font size.
Open a SMS, menu -> font size?
